Hi, in the “Select a Header Layout”, 3rd option is to have the navigation with active highlights UNDER each menu item, however on mine the active border (3px) is always at top. Is there a way of switching from top to bottom?, I can’t find it – and your visuals don’t match what I select.

Also in case you did no know, the menu tab has a new option to control the size of that 3px border. You can set it to 0 for nothing, or any pixel size.
OK, no wonder. I thought I was going mad. It would be nice to be able to switch from top/bottom too, I assume I can do that in CSS if I look hard enough (I will do so). Thanks.
Yeah we’ll get that updated. I think that it may take restructuring of the menu and not just CSS. However I’m not the developer so cannot say for certain, but please post a new topic on our forum and our support gurus can tell you 
Thanks, actually for those wanting to swap it, need only to add: border-bottom:3px solid transparent; That does the trick, obviously set border-bottom to 0px in your CSS if you don’t want both borders. It would certainly be easy to add as a feature in the future.

I see Avada 3.7 is ready… congratulations! I would like to know something. In the demo side header moves with the scrolling, can side header be fixed in the screen while you scroll up and down pages?

Yes the side header is fixed as long as there is enough room on the screen to show all the content. You must be using a shorter screen that does not show all the content in the header. If we kept it fixed in that situation, then some of the content would be cut off. So what we do is detect the screen size and if the content is taller than that or very very close, we allow the side header to scroll with the content.
If you check it on a bigger screen, or possibly even zoom out on your current screen, it will stay fixed.

great great theme! good job! Just a little issue for me … on my home page I have recent works that only load after I scroll the page down at the end… So it takes a while… and if I don’t scroll and just wait, it does not show at all.

I found the answer in your great forum… ” The first Recent Works shortcode had an animation applied, which means it will only trigger when it appears on the screen. I have set the animation_type to “0?, which makes it appear on page load”

Hi,
I am very interested in purchasing your theme, but would like to verify a few points first if possible.
I am trying to create a website where I sell several after-school program courses for elementary school students. One term e.g. lasts 7-8 weeks, and I would like to create a sign-up form, where I could capture various information about the child (name, gender, DOB, classroom#, teacher’s name, child release information, etc.), the parents (emergency contact) as well as process payments using Stripe. Basically I would like parents to sign their child up and pay the tuition during this registration process, where I would like to be able to integrate Stripe, preferably Stripe Checkout.
My requirements: (a) there will be several courses offered per term, and each class usually is once a week, EXCEPT during holidays, and the customer pays for the entire e.g. 7-week-term at once, during registration
(b) seating is limited -> there needs to be a way to limit the amount of sign-ups and once sold out, it should say as sold out.
(c) I need to capture various information from the user (child’s and parent information etc.) -> so the form needs be easily customizable
(d) I need to accept payments via Stripe, preferably “Stripe Checkout” (if possible) -> https://stripe.com/docs/checkout -> the payment should be the final step, and only after receiving payment, should the registration be complete
My pre-sale questions: 1. From the website I understand that your theme is compatible with WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, EDD, Events Calendar Pro as well as The Events Calendar. Do these integrate perfectly, so that the plugins blend in design wise into the site?
2. Here are some options we are considering: (a) Avada + WooCommerce + The Events Calendar + WooCommerce Tickets + one of the Stripe Plugins (b) Avada + WooCommerce + Events Calendar Pro + WooCommerce Tickets + one of the Stripe Plugins (c) Avada + Gravity Forms + one of the Stripe Plugins (d) EDD + EDD Tickets + EDD Stripe (we already own EDD Stripe)
Given my requirements, which of the plugin(s) do you think will work best with your theme and for our purpose?
5. Any recommendation for a good Stripe plugin, which possibly supports “Stripe Checkout”?

Thanks for the comments and interest! All of this sounds doable, but we have not tested any of the Stripe plugins yet ourselves. But gravity forms can definitely do what you need in the form area, and WooCommerce can handle the courses.
1. WooCommerce, Gravity forms have design integration, the others do not but will show their default styles. Depending on how you want it to look, you could use custom CSS to style any parts of the other plugins that are needed.
2. We’ve not tested any of the strip plugins so unfortunately cannot answer this. Woo and Gravity and Events will be fine. And most other plugins will be fine too, but since we’ve not tested them we cannot guarantee it. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.
5. We’ve not used on yet so cannot say, but I have seen some users who use the WooCommerce Stripe plugin and considering you will be using WooCommerce, it would be a good fit.

I installed avada theme on my site . My wordpress version 4.0 . but the theme options is not working . wp-admin/themes.php?page=optionsframework showing the following errors “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” . How can i solve it .

Thanks for the update and new features but Fusion Builder is broken, I can’t save my page with Visual editor. When I save I’m back to old page without change.

We are using your Avada theme, that's good, but we expect you can add sitemap function and optimize this theme in order to increase the speed of site. Current we found the speed is not good , but we donot want to use any plugin to improve it , if your theme can do it by itself , that is very good ..Best RegardsHey!
For any multi-purpose theme, it is recommended to use a plugin to increase speed an minify files, like W3TC. I’m not sure why you would not want to use a plugin like that, the benefits are all good and there is no bad side. Also, the speed and performance is also determined partly by your content and your server and any extra 3rd party plugins you have running.

hello, I checked well. Removing the plug-in cache and cleared the cache; deleted the plug-in that optimizes the css; deactivated and reactivated after plug-in individually, the problem remains the same does not work the fusion core that handles short-link. Auto-Updater: UNIQUE API KEY REQUIRED FOR EACH NEW LICENCE?
Hi, I’m building a few different sites with Avada and I want to use the new Auto-updater feature. For each site I will purchase a new version of the theme and get a unique purchase code. But…do I have to generate a new “Secret API Key” for each one, or is do I just need the one key tied to my envato account?

Hmm great question! I am not 100% certain but I think yes, you need a unique key per install. But you could try it and see, the main thing is the purchase code has to be unique for each one.

Hey, guys, some presale questions:
1) Image frames: is it somehow possible to have a style be applied to all post by default? I’m thinking of migrating current (large) site to Avada, but I cannot imagine manually editing ALL the images in ALL posts and pages to insert the shortcode, so I need to have a default image style (‘glow’, for example).
Please don’t answer ‘Go figure your own damn custom CSS code’, that’s not an answer I’m looking for.
2) Font weight: Is there an option to change the weight of the fonts in menu’s?

1. Are you referring to the featured image of each post? By default it has an image rollover effect as you can see on our demo. Outside of that, it will take customizations. I understand that you do not want to hear that but unfortunately it is true If you need all images to have a specific effect that is not our default setup or included with options, then it will take custom dev work and testing. 2. Currently there is not an easy dropdown option, however you can do this with a few steps outlined in our knowledgebase, we can assist with this one.

1) Yeah, I needed all images to have a specific effect. Uhm, no, it does not need custom dev work, it only needs 1 style in Custom CSS for all images, and you should know exactly what styles you are using for the images. I understand that you want your partners to make money as well, but this is a question of 1 line to custom CSS and your inside knowledge of classes structure, it does not require hours of coding. And you’re not willing to provide that simple support?! Other theme builders provide Custom CSS fixes and deep child-theme alterations as free support, your approach (other than helping friends make money as well) is odd.
2) I was not referring to dropdown, I was merely if it’s possible to make the menu items BOLD.
Please do not make assumptions, you are completely wrong about that. No, this is not about making money with our partners, it is about offering solutions to our users for items that fall outside of our support.
I myself am not the developer, I handle pre sales questions here. So I’m not going to tell you that it can be done in one line without truly knowing that its true.
If you know it is a one liner, and only relies on our class structure, then it should be very easy to find that using dev tools in a browser.
We do offer custom CSS tweaks to our users for free, you will see them all over our forum. However, that is up to the discretion of our support staff for what is considered “minor”. In addition, we’ve worked with and have seen what other top theme authors offer, none of them offer deep alterations for free. But if you know of some, then that’s great
For #2, I meant there is not an easy option to make it bold. When I said “dropdown” I meant that it is not a dropdown in theme options to select “bold”, like there is for selecting a font. However it can be done.
Hi, I am trying to set up a portfolio/listing for 3 different pages – and each page needs different portfolio init. The catch is that the categories are “A” “b” “c”....and I need them to be on each portfolio page but with different portfolio. What I need is the portfolios on each page being filtrable by ABC. Is there a way to do it?

When you create a portfolio page using the portfolio templates or recent work shortcode, it allows you to select a specific category. That is what I would recommend for doing that ,each page can display its own set of posts from one category.

Hi, after adding proper WPML plugins, the ability to chose different widgets in fusion core option box at bottom of pages seems to be somewhat disabled, i chose a sidebar for example, hit update but iut sets itself back to the default sidebar, and not the one I had chosen…even after chosing a widget to be uniquely french (in appearance-widgets), it reverts back to multilingual, hope this is clear, thanks!!

1. Options in the header tab? That is not related to the guy with his thumbs up. The images you see in our demo sliders are copyrighted and require a license, for our dmeo content we replace the images with ones we are allowed to distribute.
However your header options tab in theme options should be in tact.
2. That appears to be header 5. Once you select it and save it, it should show on the front end.
