Nr 1: The image slider on the homepage (or any site) is not working. It is only displaying the loading symbol.?
Nr 2: I have uploaded my images to the website and created different portfolios. But every portfolio shows all the same images I have uploaded just with a different starting image. How do I only show the images I like too and not all of them.?

For the question 1, you may follow this.
If still not works, please post me your website link.
For the question 2, you can give the portfolio items different category.
Then add cat=”NameOfYourCategory” to your portfolio shortcode.
It will only show the items with the specific category.

You can give a name for group.
The lightbox will group the items that have the same name.
We can named it as group1, group2, also ‘portfolio’ if you want.
Do you mean portfolio page like http://kaptinlin.com/themes/striking/portfolios/paging/portfolio-4-columns/ ?

Just using custom css code below in ‘striking’->‘general’ option page.

can not change my subfooter color to white. It turns grey. I can make it any other color but not white or transparent.

You should use photoshop to edit the
‘resource\psds\misc\footer_bottom.psd’ to make it more transparent.
Then save it to ‘striking/images’ folder.

For the menu,
You can use wordpress built-in menu.
First, go to “Striking”->”Navigation” subpanel to enable this.
Then, go to “Appearance”->‘Menus’ subpanel to configure the menu.

Question. Are you seeking to add one of the sliders on a page, post or sidebar somewhere? If so be advised that is not possible yet – there is no “slider” shortcode as of yet although Kaptinlin has indicated it is forthcoming – and from his comments seems like it might be in his next release which apparently may be soon.
You can have a slideshow on the homepage, and also in the custom header of any page. At this moment those are the only places we know in which one may have a slider.
Perhaps Kaptinlin will be able to chip in some additional info when he gets up but right now it is very early morning for him, so you will have to wait a couple more hours perhaps for any other info.

Personally, I can’t say enough about this package. It has literally EVERYTHING you could ever want in a theme (well, I would like to see some audio integration), but seriously, if you’re going to put your money into a theme package, make it STRIKING ! Your template is amazing. Everything was easy to setup. One question:
I am trying to setup our page with multiple portfolios on the same page.
Explanation:
I would like to have three separate galleries on the same page with separate categories and thumbnail images. When I click on a thumbnail I would like to show images only in that category.
I looked over the documentation. I am able to make a page with different sortable categories but when I click on the thumbnail image the entire gallery shows rather than the specific portfolio.

If so, you can set ‘portfolio type’ to ‘Gallery’,
Then upload the image to the ‘Portfolio Gallery’ panel.
After set-up the portfolio items.
Go to the page you want show , use the shortcode like below
[portfolio column="4" group="false"]
Notice i add group=”false” to the shortcode. It will separate each portfolio gallery.

I would use featured image in single blog post with fullwith, original size and image ratio at top. By default image size is 958px, but i have images with other sizes (700×464, 464×700, 800×350, etc..)
I’ve found function blog_featured_image on themeGenerator.php file, but I can not display the image without distortion, dynamic css always end up winning: P
One more thing, can i make a child theme for future theme updates?
