Hello,
I am trying to make a responsive home page (the same as the Masonry theme). I have set the option to ‘Masonry without text’, however the images are now being cropped and re-sized and there are gaps inbetween images. Please can you advise?

Hi, I have split my portfolio into two categories and linked them to the menu. Now, when I click on one portfolio category on the menu, I want this category to be displayed as a standard list, in columns, filterable by sub categories…(maybe this is not possible) (now it appears only as “archive” with single portfolios with big pictures). Thank you for your support.
I think I have to use a page for this, categories cannot be displayed as portfolio list, right?

For this you need to create two separate pages, and add a portfolio list element to each page via Visual Composer. In the portfolio list options, you can select the layout of your portfolio and set the categories you would like to display in that portfolio list. Then you need to add those pages to your menu instead of the categories.
Regarding filtering by sub-categories, this unfortunately is not an option in our theme.

Hello!
I’ve updated the theme to 6.1 and it says that the VC will be updated to v4.3.5.
After updating the theme, the vc still shows as v4.3.4 and there seems to be a problem with my VC. I’ve logged out and logged in a couple of times to see if there are any changes.
And the problem with the VC is i can’t seem to drag the components to different areas of the website.
help pls?

I’ve found out through the other comments. That we need to uninstall the VC first. And reinstall the VC into the theme.

Hi! For one of my pages I used Blog Masonry from the VC. Everything works perfect ( i have one category in category slug) but is there an option to have paginations for this ? I know I can choose Number of Posts, but thats not the best option at the moment for me. Thanks!

Unfortunately there is no option to add pagination to the blog masonry shortcode. However, if you only want to display your blog on this page, you can set the page to the blog masonry template: http://screencast.com/t/sDdXO8Jq2Xmj
And then in Qode Options > Blog > Blog List make sure that pagination is set to “Yes” and then you will have pagination on your blog masonry page.

Main problem is that our home page comes with 56+ high quality demo images for each demo site. That will not be the case when you install the theme and start building your web site

I noticed that the Main Menu colors are not changing from the Color selection provided in the Fonts Category in Qode Options. So I used the Custom CSS to Override the Color and Hover function. But I am unable to do for the Active text Color. Can you provide me with the CSS Code. I tried using this:

I didn’t notice the ticket ID.. Anyways got the email from the response team and issue is resolved. I had selected the Header skin as Dark so it wasn’t taking the colors. Anyways have put the custom CSS code as well so that it will override.

Hi, great theme! I have searched for in the past comments, but couldn’t find the answer: on the shop main page I have added the element “product categories” and I can choose “number”. What if I want to show only some exact category or subcategory on my shop main page?

Regarding displaying specific categories of products, you can use the “Products by category slug” element in Visual Composer and in the “category” field enter the slugs of the categories you would like to display (separated by commas). You can also display products from certain subcategories this way.

Thanks for your interest in our theme.
As far as we are aware Revolution Slider plugin works fine with our theme, however, please note that the theme comes with our Qode Slider and the LayerSlider plugin. Regarding using a slider in the header itself, this is not an option in our theme, however you can set either the Qode Slider or LayerSlider shortcode in a specified custom field on the page back end that we have for sliders and then the slider will display underneath your header. You can then set the header to be transparent and the results will look like this: http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/ with a transparent header and the whole slider visible underneath it.
Yes, it is possible to make the menu and logo centered.

Thanks for your interest in our theme.
1) Unfortunately we do not have such a portfolio layout. However, you do have the option to set your portfolio layout to custom portfolio layout, and then you can create your single portfolio items like you would pages via Visual Composer and create each portfolio item too like like you would like.
2) Unfortunately there is no option to activate the lightbox for portfolios using our default big or small slider layout. However, you can also use the custom portfolio layouts for this, and then add an image gallery set to display as a slider via Visual Composer and set this slider to open a lightbox.
3) This has been designed this way.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to create and exact replica of this site with our theme. this would require a large amount of customization.
You can use the left menu which you can see on this demo: http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge31/ and you can use a full screen slider on your pages. However, you can’t have both left menu and top header active at the same time. You can hide the header for a specific page via some custom css. Please submit a ticket to http://qode.ticksy.com/ with a link to your site and specify which page you would like to hide the header from and our support team can provide the needed code.
Regarding your second question, unfortunately there is no option in our theme to reposition the header below a slider.

I have noticed some issues with VC and the latest version of WP and so have not updated Bridge to the latest version yet. It seems that there might be some compound problems. Can you confirm when those issues are resolved please.

Yes, these issues have been resolved. You can update your theme to version 6.1, and then you need to go to Plugins and delete the visual composer plugin. After this you will see a notification at the top of your page that some required plugins need to be installed. Install and activate Visual Composer via this notification and you will get the 4.3.5. version of Visual Composer which works fine.
The current version of Font Awesome in our theme is 4.1.

Hi. May I add a row of video to the home page?
For instance, in your Home 6 Demo you have a row at the end of the page with 3 images and text (ADVANCED BUSINESS SOLUTION / VISUAL PAGE BUILDER / OUR COMPANY STATUS). I guess they are the latest post.
I need to add a similar row but instead of the images you can see the video. And you can watch the videos directly into the home page (play button).

Yes, these are latest posts. Regarding your question, you can add YouTube or Vimeo videos to your pages via the Video element in Visual Composer and these videos can be watched directly on the page. You can also add self hosted videos using the html5 video tag and the Raw html element in visual composer. You can split your row into three columns and add a video into each column to display them in the layout like the latest posts on the home 6 page.
