not sure what you mean by “default language switcher”. To facilitate translations you will need to use a third party plugin like WPML for instance, they will offer a widget for the language toggle.

Hello,
A client of mine is working with the Udesign theme, and I have a question. Since there are so many sidebar positions, is there an overview over what sidebar goes where? It gets a little confusing with so many options 
It would be great to have an image with the sidebar positions and names.

I activated this theme and but I hadn’t created any pages yet. But there was one page”home”. It appears up in menu but if to go to pages—all pages then ther isn’t this page. And if I want to choose blog and home page then from the list “home” doesn’t show up either. ‘
How can I choose it for my home page and how van I build it???

I purchased the theme and added all the recommended plug-ins. A new update (4.3.5) for Visual Composer has just been released. I went to my WP dashboard to update the plugin but a message says to “Download new version from CodeCanyon.” and links to http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431?ref=mixey. I’m a bit confused because I thought the plugin is free with my purchase but, the link says I have to pay.

Yes, it is compatible with WordPress 4.1.
The reason it doesn’t yet say it under the Software section is because ThemeForest staff have not yet made that option available for us (the authors) to choose it. Most likely in the next couple of days it will be added

I’m interested in this theme, but I have some pre-purchase questions:
1. I was wondering if you could provide coding guidance in order to make the logo on the homepage a simple hyperlinked image, not a hyperlinked H1? Now it’s like this: <h1><a title="U-Design" href="http://dreamthemedesign.com/themes/u-design">U-Design</a></h1>
I would really want the H1 on the Homepage to be the main title of the page, like on the other pages.
2. The headings aren’t somehow automatically inserted by the theme, right? I suppose I can add whatever headings I want, anywhere on the page, no?
3. If I press on WooCommerce Integration or Shop, it redirects me to another site. I have no clue what’s up with that . I assume I can have a normal shop page with WooCommerce within the theme, no?
4. Would you be willing to offer minor code changes, like the ones pointed out at nr. 1, if it will be necessary?

To your questions:
1 ) Yes, absolutely, the theme offers extensive hooks/filters API that will allow you to customize almost any aspect of it.
2 ) The only automatically inserted heading would be the “H1” (Page/Post titles) and in some cases like the Blog page the “H2” (Post titles in the loop), the rest is up to you
3 ) Yes, you can have it in the same site, absolutely, sorry for the confusion, I just setup the “TeaTime” WooComm. demo site in a different WordPress instance because I wanted to show different styling of the whole thing, but you could certainly use the same instance of WordPress for everything.
4 ) Sure, we might have some threads already discussing this in the support forum. Over there we have a huge FAQ section which covers most questions like that and if you can’t find what you’re looking for you could always ask

We are building out this theme and can’t figure out how to add a slider above the title to individual pages like you have in the demo on the “Team” page. We may be missing it, but could not find it in the documentation. Also, we installed the demo content, but that feature is broken in our theme:

Pre-sale question: you have a sorting function in your Portfolio, and I see in the demo that the sort options are Original or Alphabetical. Is it possible to add an option for Date Added or similar?

The filtering is based on portfolio categories and post tags, example: http://dreamthemedesign.com/themes/u-design/three-column-sortable-portfolio/ sorting by date is currently not offered.

Probably not necessary at this point anyway, as the client only has a few listings. If req'd later, I'll look at using a plugin.Another question for you, though: they really like the demo version in your Showcase section called “Slider Pattern”. Looks like something you might have put together as an example when you first came out with the theme? Regardless, is there a way you can show or tell me how to set up the home page to look like that?
And I presume you did the header’s background pattern yourself. Do you sell those kinds of patterns, or, if not, can you recommend where I can purchase some?

Yes, I did this one and it shouldn’t be a problem to give you the colors selection I used so you can recreate it. For the header’s patter, I believe it was a free image I got but it’s been a while and can’t remember now, however I could recommend you 2-3 sites where I usually get my images from.

ok I see for the slider…

Does compatible means that theme has code written for Buddypress or i should customize css ?
The main compatibility issue with themes and BuddyPress is the layout, I’ve added code to the theme so the BP pages use the theme’s main page/post div wrappers and this way looks like the rest of the site. If you feel like applying additional style tweaks by all means you could do that.
