Thanks for checking out the Listify theme the “last directory theme you will ever buy!”

We are super excited for the launch of this product and we think you’ll love it as much as we do. If you are looking for details on the theme check out our sales page and also our theme documentation.

We always love feedback and questions and all those “Good luck with sales comments” so keep them coming ;)

Please don’t hesitate to provide us with feedback on features you’d like to see as we want to listen to our users and give them what they want if there is a large enough demand for it.

Cheers – Adam.

Hi,

I buy a premium membership for a full support for one month. But I cant find the form to post my ticket on the support website.

Can you help me please ?

Thx

HI! Is geolocation and WPML support given with this theme? If not, do you plan on implementing this and if, by when?

Hi there:

We are currently promoting Polylang > WPML for the time being, as WP Job Manager is 100% compatible with WPML: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/523-does-the-theme-and-plugins-support-multilingual-translations

Yes, all listings need to be geolocated: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/590-why-arent-my-listings-appearing-on-my-map

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Bryan

Bryan means…WP Job Manager is 100% compatible with Polylang.

Your site looks fantastic. However, I am hesitating to buy it. I understand that themes need plugins and use them regularly. My main concern is that the theme appears to be ‘reliant’ on a plugin called WP JobManager which, compared to your site, appears to have poor documentation and little support.

If I’m going to charge people to list on my site using this theme, what assurances can you provide that WP JobManager will provide timely updates that seamlessly integrate with your theme? (I’m already seeing issues with the demo category functionality). Will you answer questions about using WP JobManager or will I be sent back to WP JM site for help? I’m asking because their free but necessary plugin doesn’t seem to offer much in the way of support. It would be a terrible experience to collect revenue from customers and then be unable to deliver as promised.

Again, your theme is beautiful and it would be great to implement it. However, charging people for listings is serious business and I need to make sure there will not be issues in this regard. Thanks.

Please see Mike Jolleys response to your concerns he is he creator of the WP Job Manager plugin http://themeforest.net/item/listify-wordpress-directory-theme/9602611/comments?page=33&filter=all#comment_8815233

Did you need any other information Stacey?

Cheers! Adam

Hi—

I’m completely new to webdesign, and I’m learning as I go. I downloaded Listify and woocommerce bookings, and I’m trying to figure out how to integrate woocommerce bookings so that the user can book the listing. How do I do that? I’ve reviewed some of the articles but they haven’t helped. Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that. I’m assuming you’ve reviewed this article? http://listify.astoundify.com/article/508-how-do-i-take-bookings-on-my-listing-owner-pages

With that being said, please contact support if you haven’t already. By doing this you are helping us. We currently have a large amount of questions to get through on ThemeForest pre-sales comments, by submitting support requests in the correct place you will help us greatly.

Great theme so far. Seems to be a bug with the theme category search. (both on my site and the same with yours)

Take a look at your site to replicate the problem.

When making a category search the suggester works for two words at 1st level e.g. Arts & Entertainment (i can search for keywords “art” or “entertainment”)This works

However 2nd level categories like e.g coffee & tea (i can only search the second keyword “tea” not “coffee”)

Any ideas for a fix? Thanks

@yadgar_87 – yes you can reposition the map to be located on the side or at the top of the page.

Thanks! :)

Wen do you plan to create an additional plugin that will allow the listing owner to drop a pin anywhere on the map.

Theme looks very cool. And while I play with demo I found strange behavior. I rotate my tablet from landscape to portrait orientation and after that rotation header and menu disappears completely. I see a blank area instead header. It looks like a bug. My table has screen with resolution 1024×768 and browser Chrome.

Hi,

I really love your product. I nearly bought it, but then I realized Listify is focusing on the listing of a business it self.

But for my case, as a travel related site, I wanted to create a travel package directory/classifieds/marketplace.

Users come here and look for great travel package(product first), instead of clicking on random travel agency, and look what packages they are selling.

Is this a valid use case of Listify?

Hi there,

I’ll need a bit more information as I’m confused by this part of your question: Users come here and look for great travel package(product first), instead of clicking on random travel agency, and look what packages they are selling..

Are you looking to allow your listing owners to sell their own products? If so, this is possible with the theme: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/507-how-do-i-allow-vendors-to-sell-products-through-my-listify-powered-website

If not, please explain a bit more so I can answer your question better.

Thanks,

Bryan

To make it simple, I would like to setup a travel related listing site. Where I charge them for every single listing they create.

Listing owner (service provider, travel agency, tour guide, home stay, hotel promotion, etc) list their product/service as a listing, different from what I saw on your demo, listing owner list their “business name” as a listing, such as “Astoundify Barbershop”, “Noodlecat”.

Instead, I prefer they can list their services/product/promo directly, such as “XXX hotel promo”, “Travel Package to Japan 2015”.

For example, a travel agency would create multiple listings, 1 travel package per listing.

At this stage, my site will only let listing owners to publish their contact so users can find them, no selling function.

I understand that you don’t provide backend demo, so I just wonder can I customize listy to do what I am planning?

Hi,

- I am wondering if this template support RTL?

- I also wondering if product page has slider function (ex. https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listing/1596-queen-street-w-toronto-on-m6r-glory-hole-doughnuts/)

- The page of listing search result: Is there a way to remove the Side Map. or putting to the head.

Thanks,

Regards,

Yad,

Hi

My featured page image dosent seem to be coming through any more on the homepage. – help !

Hi,

Can I use the “Resume Manager Plugin” and the “Application Plugin” from www.wpjobmanager.com? Because I plan to build a jobboard with your theme and these plugins.

Best regards

Mat

Hi Mat,

Applications and Resume Manager are not compatible at this time. Here’s a list of the currently compatible WP Job Manager add-ons: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/492-supported-plugins-add-ons

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Bryan

Hello,

In its submission form the field “Business Location (optional)” has enabled the auto complete. This option is very useful since that field, provides automatic localization options ... How can I enable this auto complete in this field?

@shelji – to get the css classes use the page shown in your screenshot and go right to top of page and select Screen Options, this will drop down and you need to select and enable option CSS Classes shown under Show Advanced Menu Properties. A CSS Classes box will then appear between Navigation Label & Display Mode. For the video settings these are on the page where you insert the video you want. Firstly select Hero Style – Video, then click Add Media & insert your video into the page. You then need to click on the video in the page and a seperate box opens, click the pencil icon, options then appear below video. Autoplay & loop are under Preload settings.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! :)

Keep up the good work guys.

Quick question what is the recommended image size (dimensions) for the cover images. That will work perfectly with the cover image & thumbnails

Thanks!

Any image size will work, the bigger the better for a nice sharp image obviously. For reference, here are a few image sizes from the demo: 2048×1365 & 1024×768.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Bryan
