Loving the template. Hoping to use it for my film club website, but wondered if there were any plans to add in an events calendar/page that can plug in to the site so you can run events as main items from the homepage too? Alternatively, does/has anyone found a good events plug in that sits nicely with the site? Cheers

I know that the video format has to be MP4 or WebM but can you please give me the video sizes? You should use a 16:9 aspect ratio – i’d recommend either supplying videos at 1280×720 or 1920×1080

In a full-width row with 2 columns, image in 1 and heading & text in the other – is it possible to center the text vertically AND horizontally?

I’d like to make the images fill the area regardless of browser size, and text block to be centered vertically and horizontally – is this possible? It looks fine on a large screen but on a smaller screen everything gets thrown out.

One problem though.
When I click on the portfolio thumbnails, and I enter a new page, my anchor links in the menu stops working, with exception of the 4 squares symbol. Is there some way I can make my links anchor links and regular links at the same time?

Yes – use the full URL when entering your anchor links so for example
“http://domain.com/#anchor” rather than just ”#anchor”

Well, it still doesn’t work. What i mean is: I have one page scroll enabled. And when i enter the portfolio thumbnails, the portfolio link, which is a animated anchor link, in my header stops working. What I want to know is if i can make this work without sacrificing the great animated anchor link function?

Actually I think its a theme flaw. When i change my anchor links to full URL, it seems like the theme automatically cuts it down to ”#anchor”.... This is what my code looks like when i have changed the anchor link to full URL:
”< ahref=”#Portfolio” style=”padding-bottom: 48px; padding-top: 20px;”>Portfolio”
The anchor links works fine on the main page. Its only when I click on a portfolio thumbnail and enter a new page, that all the anchor links stops working. Regular links works fine.

No, it’s when im on the project single page, The “Portfolio” link in the menu(Header) doesn’t work. It should take me back to the portfolio overview. The sqaure symbol works fine.

You might want to consider making the Nectar slider arrow bigger and wider as it is hard for people to see and also have an option for it to fade in and out or just be a static arrow pointing down, so people will know to click it to slide down to the next section. This is my favorite WordPress theme. Would love to see some upgrades like this and also perhaps make the top navigation bar (with no menu – just the 3 line bar) be a lot bigger. Thank you for all you do.

Hey again – you have the fullscreen option enabled which overrides the flexible height. If you uncheck that box you’ll see the scaling properly working for the height provided

Nothing has been added other than the plugins recommended to be used with the theme. And the Wordpress buttons, like Help, don’t work when the theme is active. And I’ve tried disabling all plugins and even clean installs.

Fantastic theme but I’m having an issue with the Tabbed Section. I have an image and text in each tab and i’m trying to add a button below the text that is left aligned. When I add the button it automatically aligns center and changing this is the short code does nothing. Is there an override to help this at all? Thanks.

There was a bug, but I managed to fix it by switching to video background and back to photo background.

Your theme is using an outdated version of Visual Composer? Can you please update the plugin, or tell me how I can manually update the plugin from within the theme?
Alternatively, can I disable the built-in Visual Composer and install my own copy? If I did this, how would it affect the theme? What would the pros and cons be?

I have a video on the home slider but instead of playing I get the slide image and an embedded player that is paused. This is with self-hosted files in the proper formats. Any ideas? I’m sorry I can’t show you the page as it is on a dev site.

1. I believe you’re looking for the functionality of the Nectar Slider rather than the Home Slider
2. Add this into the custom css box in your Salient options panel:
