Love the theme so far. But I have noticed that when someone registers and they click on the activation link from their email, they are taken to a screen (view screen shot at the end of this post) where they are given a text link to log in, and also given some text boxes to log in….. The text link takes them to the Wordpress log in screen. If they type in their user name and pass word into the text boxes and click on the Log In button, they are logged into and taken into the Wordpress profile area. They completely leave the theme and go into the default Wordpress dashboard style.
I know I can remove the text box log in….but I like the way it looks on the page.
Is there anyway you guys can fix this, or is there an EASY way for me to change this???
You could use a plugin which changes the address where the users goes after he logged in. It’s named “Peter’s Redirect” if I remember well.

I installed the plugin and tried multiple logins and settings. It does not work. Any other solutions?

I have tested, and it works fine with “Peter’s Redirect”, but just for regular users, admin users are always redirected to the wp dashboard after login.

Please understand that it’s not necessary an error from our theme. We don’t offer full integration support for Bp Activity Plus yet, but we saw customers using it without problems.
I think your error might come from Bp Activity Plus compatibility with the latest version of BuddyPress ( 2.2 ). You should contact their developers and ask if it’s fully compatible.

Everytime i install this theme and actifate Buddypress plugin i get this :
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
As how the message itself says, it’s a server related error. It is probably generated by a php memory limit. You should contact your web hosting support and ask them to increase it. We recommend this limit to be set around 96-128 Mb.

Upgrading your buddypress plugin to the latest version it will fix it. We are aware of that small error, and we’ll fix it asap for backwards compatibility.

Just another quick question! When i go to my user profile, i see a big shopping cart icon between “Profile” and “Notifications” buttons that says, “Orders” under it. this site won’t have anything to do with products or orders. how do i get rid of that option? i couldn’t seem to find that option. thanks!
You can disable that from your wp admin, from “Theme Options > WooCommerce”, and the option is called “Manage account in Buddypress”.

You guys overdid yourselves on this theme. it’s incredible, and there’s SO many easy configurable options! thank you for a great theme. i have one question. i would like to change the size of my logo image size and my nav bar size. i didn’t see any options for those. just layout option of the overall header. I found the layout i like, but they just seem a little small for my taste. is this a coding configuration or am i just skipping over something?
Nevermind! i found the option “menu height” and “menu size”. once i lowered the height, the main logo grew bigger. Perfect! Thank you for a wonderful theme!

Unfortunately, if you need extra styling for your logo size, you should probably create some css rules. Let me know if you can handle it. If not then i would need some extra details from you, probably a screenshot of how is it now, and how do you want it to be.

Under our theme options panel, you should go to Header Options, find Main Menu Height, and play with it. Increasing it, it will allow your logo to be bigger in both width and height.

That’s true, BUT then above and beneath the nav bar also begins to expand and create a bunch of unnecessary padding as it gets moved down. i can’t seem to find a happy medium. if you can just point me to the css file that holds the position and block size of the logo, i can take care of it…
I don’t think it has something to do with the logo, as it doesn’t have any margins/paddings. Could you provide me a screenshot pointing the space you want to remote ?

Exactly. it’s the nav bar that’s creating the padding. http://members.routeyourtour.com/ i just added height to the nav bar. from 88 to 150. it actually didn’t increase the logo size, and it added a ton of padding between the nav bar titles and the highlight bars underneath the menu options. that height option is definitely not the way to go…:-/
While still playing with the option I given you earlier, also add the following css rule to “Theme Options>General>Quick Css”, and play with the value of the line height. I saw the logo increased it’s size once you increased the Main Menu Height.
.kleo-main-header .navbar-collapse > ul > li > a { line-height:40px !important; }

Yes, that functionality you want is given by a plugin called “BuddyPress Registration Options” which puts new registered members in a pending state until an admin manually approves it.

I get “Are yous ure you want to do this”? when I try to upload the theme. I have deactivated all plug ins memory is set to 128MB. I have checked support forums, can you try helping me, pointing me out for a solution? I tried uploading the kleo_child.zip file and it works but no thte kleo folder form wordpress folder. thanks
The file size of the main theme it’s around 8mb. You should contact your web hosting and request a file upload limit increase, ( which in some cases is set at 2mb ).

I notice the update but how do users set up the cover photo for profiles? Do i have to remove WordPress and reinstall a fresh copy because i don’t see how it even works.

I got it, but not until I deactivated the theme. Upon reactivating it, the message to install plugins came up again, where I saw a message about “Buddypress Cover Photo.”
If you’re having the same issue, log into Admin Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins to find the Buddypress Cover Photo installation link.

Hi, I purchased your theme and found a problem… how can i get rid of the background image ? You can see here www.getstanced.com , right above the revslider there is a big black area which i assume that is a background from your theme…

You probably used some elements from our theme demo pages. You will have to go end edit your page using Visual Composer, and you will have to remove the background image and top padding for the row element.

How can I set the feature images of the widgets (like latest post for example) being rectangular, not rounded and how can I choose the seize of the picture?

To style that widget you will have to modify some css rules. You would probably need to remove border radius from those images.
To change image size for the latest post wiget, you will have to edit the following file ”/lib/widgets/recent_posts.php” from the theme directory, and around lines 57 and 64 you will find the size defined as a single number for both width and height, in this case the defaul value it’s 40.
Please take into consideration that you will have to take care of your next updates, as this file will be overwritten.

If you changed the image size from the indications I’ve given you in the first reply then you should check if you are seeing the new images. Check image size from your browser. Also try to clear your cache, but probably that’s not the issue.

Hi guys,
I did a Wordpress update and the VC composer in your theme is now black. Nothing will show up. I contacted the tech support team for the VC composer and they said:
“The issue is because is an inbuilt version of Visual Composer (or the related code) present in your theme which is overriding the standalone plugin version and hence causing the issue. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine.”

We are not aware of any errors or problems of visual composer and our theme at the moment. Please be sure you update your wordpress to the lastest version: 4.1, visual composer 4.4.2, kleo theme 2.4.
If you still encounter any problems after doing so, then it might be something related to other plugins or additional codding and you should enable wordpress debug so you can give us some details about the issue. http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

I did all of the above and nothing worked. The notes above mentions that my paid version of VC composer is conflicting with the included VC in the theme. How do I over ride the built-in version of VC in the theme?
You don’t need to bother of which version to include, your own or the one provided by us are the same. Our theme works with both versions.
