Kindly, replace the attached file in the path wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/custom-post-types/templates/taxonomy-portfolio_entries.php and then the setting that you do from Dashboard > Soulmedic > Specialty Pages > Category will work.

I created a page for the portfolio: http://www.psicoajuda.pt/areas/ and I want to split the portfolio in 3 categories: “psicologia infantil”, “psicologia adolescentes”, “psicologia adultos”. How to show this split in the carrousel? I tried to use categories=”psicologia-infantil” but it didn’t work.

Hey i need to apply a certain color for a certain section in a page. For example im trying to apply a color for two of the following sections in this page but i dont find any option for background color for those sections. I have used in many themes and i would like to know how to apply a background color for this sections with your theme. Please take a look at the marked sections in the image.

We have fixed this issues in our updated version So Please use our updated version. Follow the below steps to update the theme.
1) Download the theme from themeforest page.
2) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
3) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
4) Go to wp-content/plugins/ through ftp
5) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
6) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. Thats it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

Thanks for the reply. In fact, I updated the two plugins ” WooCommerce” and “YITH WooCommerce Wishlist” and the problem was fixed. It seems there was some incompatibility between these two plugins and Chrome.

I am trying to use the 3 column recent post shortcode and it keeps generating a 2 column display on the page.

I try inserting the shortcode directly into a text editor as well as using Page Builder (drag/drop) of the Recent Post option. Both generate the same result – a 2 column display. Please advise what needs to be done to get a 3 column display.

You can able to add. Kindly follow the process shown below:
We have shown the method below to add the Instagram icon. Please follow the same method to add foursquare icon.
1) Open the folder “Wp-content/themes/soulmedic/images/sociable/ through FTP” and add an image for instagram. And keep the image name as “instagram.png”.
2) Add the hover image at “Wp-content/themes/soulmedic/images/sociable/hover/ through FTP” and add an image for instagram. Keep the image name as “instagram.png”.
3) Open “Wp-content/themes/soulmedic/style.css”, and add the line as shown in the attached screenshot. That’s it. Now you’ll have the option of instagram in dashboard -> Soulmedic -> General -> Sociable.

Right, I’ve done that and it isn’t showing up. Have foursquare.png for the sociable folder and another foursquare.png for the hover folder and the css below:

I’ve done this process once for yelp, but foursquare is not showing up.

Once I hit send I figured it out. The icons have to be in the parent theme and not the child theme. (So please disregard the ftp email) Will these be overwritten if we were to update the parent theme?

For some reason I can’t get my install of the theme to display in a boxed format. I have looked at the database to see what is stored in the theme_mods_soulmedic-child table and it shows the following
