Hello,
I would like to make the slider 2 thirds of the width and allow 1 third on right for a couple of other buttons.
I know this will be done in the css somewhere but can’t find it anywhere. Could you point me in the right direction?

Very easy. Go to the footer options under the Striking menu in your WP admin and you in fact have more then one option:
a) adding more text to Copyright footer text area, it can contain anything you want for text, – the copyright text is just the usual desire, you can add divs, etc
b) or use the sub-footer right area type, set it to html and put in your disclaimer text along with whatever styling you desire.
Or you could also of course use a text widget as one of the footer widgets, and have that widget show up on every page.
These are just a few of the methods and the “easiest” as they just make use of the built in features of Striking.

FYI KaptainLin, I have discovered that the Anything Slider (not sure about the others) doesn’t work in Internet Explorer 9 RC, neither in normal or compatibility mode. It’s stuck with the loading gif…
I hope it’s something you can fix relatively easy 
I will test it asap.
Oh and one other thing I found…
In customizing the CSS under general, I tried to make all the widget titles with a black bagground. While it works in general, the Ads 125 widget seems to have a glitch.
Whatever widget comes AFTER the Ads 125 widget, the widget title box starts up under the ads, making most of their background black. In other words, the widget title box doesn’t start after the ads widget has ended, but during it…

Actually, with some testing, I found out that it’s only when the “buildNavigation” is off that it doesn’t work. Put it on, and wupti, it works!

Sorry for writing so many things at the moment, but another problem I’ve found is editing the themeGenerator file.
I’ve been messing around with it to change the functions, such as the introduce text for author archives and change the meta description for posts. While I change it and it shows fine on the website, it starts producing errors in the backend, when fx edit theme files in the backend, save/update posts etc.
Is this because I’m editing the file with notepad or what could it be?

Something that is key is the following:
The best way to set permissions is to use the hosting control panel file manager, not your ftp program. Some hosts have their server security set so that permanently changing permissions to open levels (745,755, 777, etc) can only be done from the host – if you do it via ftp, it softcodes, but does not hardcode the change and so does not work even thought your ftp program will say it has been changed.
@Simmonet The theme already incorporates a breadcrumb plugin as part of the framework. As I don’t know it well, unfortunately you will have to wait on Kaptinlin to determine whether it is a simple mod to the breadcrumbs-plus.php file or whether something else is necessary. If you know enough php you can write a script to parse the breadcrumb differently when it is a blog page – but with the interaction of your additional plugin, it is out of my comfort zone.
We have a fair amount of contact with Kaptinlin and know he is working what sounds like a fairly significant update for Striking with a goal to submit to themeforest in the next few days (no promises). Its probably in the best interests of all to attempt to find the answers first on the dedicated support forum where there are several Striking vets responding with answers, and almost 50 pages of solutions and custom mods already posted. I know that his working on solutions to comments is really slowing down the update so please bear this in mind when posting – take the time to search for the answer first if you can.
Pam, I think the update includes some java changes and further optimization. Don’t know if you have heard from Kaptinlin today, but the release could solve your problem (or complicate them but either way the release will undoubtedly impact your issue)so if you can wait for it….. There is a hefty time difference between North America and Kaptinlin and our offices last had contact with him on the weekend. Your site looks fabulous.

Is there any way to change the font (or at least make it bold) for the header menu text (including the rollover state and text in any dropdown menus in the header). I don’t care about the footer menu – just the header. I noticed you can increase the font size of that text in the font controls, but I’d like to make the font either arial black or just make it bold so it stands out more!

We are still loving the theme. Have a couple questions for you related to the implementation we have on this site: http://www.fruitzoom.com
1. We recently installed the Cloud Player Pro http://www.cloudplayerpro.com which enables us to stream video from Amazon S3. We spent a good majority of the day today on the phone with tech support trying to resolve a conflict with the video between CloudPlayer Pro & Striking. From what we can see it looks like we are having some major conflicts w/some of the JS and other video calls implemented in the theme.
We’re hoping it might be possible to either combine the code from Cloud Player with Striking and/or to understand where we need to disable some of the video features within the Striking theme. CloudPlayer also uses short codes and we tested combining them tonight and came close to getting it to work. However, it appears there is still a JS conflict somewhere that we can’t locate. We attempted to edit the head.php fill with no such luck. We have double verified it is not an issue w/Amazon S3, the video files or any other settings. We were able to get it to work by implementing a different theme on my site as a test.
Cloud Player Pro leverages Flow Player. We are using it in combination with www.Infusionwp.com as we are implementing member features with www.infusionsoft.com. All 3 technologies are proven and we plan to use from here forward.
Could you possibly help us in finding a solution?
2. I still need you to help me with the slider as I can only get the accordian to work. This is not the fault of you as you have offered to help me I have just been slammed. Maybe you could look at both at the same time. I’d love to get the Anything slider working and shrink to half the width and then have a widget on the right side where I can implement an opt-in box.

Hello – I’m trying to use this theme to showcase some of my work for an upcoming job search and I’ve had reports that it doesn’t play nicely on some of the computers of contacts who are opening it. I need some help with testing this theme please!
It looks great and works fine on my computer (mac) UNLESS i try to add an autoplay youtube or vimeo video to the anything slider on the homepage. If I do that, I can hear 3 or 4 versions of the video’s audio playing over my speakers as the video starts to play. Any known fix for that would be fantastic.
My second big problem is that when my wife opens the site at work, the homepage is blocked…but only the homepage. It says something like ‘you’ve attempted to reach a site that is…’ She says the video portfolio works fine but that all the fonts on the site are fairly blurry (they look fine on my comp and I’ve had her test it with a few of the different – and more standard – font families I could choose from in the admin panel).
The biggest problem is that when my father went to the video gallery on his PC (which is in a semi-controlled and regulated office environment) he said that it sound like a haunted house and froze his computer. I’m guess that the audio from every video (i’ve got about 25 on there) started playing or something like that. Does anyone know how this could happen? My guess is that he’s using IE. I have the portfolio set to play videos in the lightbox. Each is a youtube video link.
Finally – I’ve already emailed the author about this – but I can’t seem to use custom permalinks without my portfolios dissapearing. Anyone else having this problem? I’m trying to swap out the default set with / category / postname /

2) Not sure why the font look blurry in firefox with pc. I will test it later.
3) Haven’t see it before. Can you tell me which browse do he used?

I think that I am having some sort of file permission troubles since some of the changes that I make in the back end (specifying featured image, slider and portfolio settings, etc.) are simply not sticking after I submit the page/update the post.
Can you tell / show me which folders and files within the Striking directory should be chmod’ed 777?

Hello… seriously great theme.
Wondering on the breadcrumbs, I’m getting “blog” inserted into flow.
Before you answer, I’m using a plugin to add .html on the end of post names and it requires “category” as well as blog name in the perma links.
Those links / URLs work fine
The breadcrumbs show a hierarchy of “home >> blog >> page-name”
Any idea why and how I can get rid of the work “blog” ?
