The editor from the wp backend is limited to just some default files or to a number of files and is not recommended to be used for editing templates. You should use a proper code editor over a ftp connection.

I just tested this out just to be sure and everything works just fine, if you have any cache plugin please try to disable them while you’re doing changes, and if not, then please be sure you’re editing the right page.

Thanks for your reply. No, it is the correct page and it doesn’t seem to be a cache problem. I may have some conflict somewhere.

Nevertheless I managed to remove the Buddypress titles (appearing in the home page, which I have the activity, and the Members page) by commenting in functions.php :

// add_action(‘kleo_before_main_content’, ‘kleo_title_main_content’);

but the thing is that I’m using a child theme,so I tried adding, in the child’s functions.php, this:

remove_action(‘kleo_before_main_content’, ‘kleo_title_main_content’);

But that remove_action doesn’t seem to work. I wanted to ask for your magic, how would you go about disabling that add_action in the functions.php in the CHILD THEME.

(I can always go ahead and comment that add_action in the functions.php, but I’d rather prefer a solution in the functions.php from the child theme).

You should give a more in depth look at “remove_action” and understand how to use it in your child theme. If you would like someone to assist you and give a look at your wordpress install and see why those settings doesn’t apply, then i would kindly ask you to join our dedicated support forum and open a thread there.

You can list them in the sidebar without problems. But i would recommend you to create a more summarized custom menu including just the most important ones, that’s just for the ease of site browsing for your visitors.

The settings from a page will override the general settings from “Theme Options”, so from the theme panel you should set whatever you want for the whole site, and for the homepage you should play with the settings given in the edit page for that particular page.

From what I can see the error is related to buddypress or a third party plugin. Please deactivate any other plugins beside buddypress, one by one and see when the errors goes away.

I have restored BP to 2.2.0, then again updated it, i got this error “Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_is_my_profile() in /home/content/72/10363572/html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-cover-photo/buddypress-cover-photo.php on line 273”, I’m running BP cover photo 1.0.3, However this error don’t cause any major problem in my site, but check what is the problem

The live notifications can be added to the menu from the wp backend, under “Apparance > Menus”, in the drag-and-drop area you should have a section called “Kleo” in which you’ll find a menu item called “Live Notifications”. Take in mind that this only works in the main menu from the top of the page.

If you can’t find the “Kleo” section under your “Menus” page, then go in the top of the page, in the right corner, click on “Screen Options”, and make sure the “KLEO” option from “Show on screen” is checked.

About listing users uploads in a page, we don’t have such an option now but we’ll take it into consideration and see if we can build something like that in one of our future updates, meanwhile you should search for a buddypress plugin which offers you this feature.

If you don’t want users to reach your wp-login page, then you can install a plugin like “Theme my login” which will replace the default login/lost-password of wordpress.
