I’ve also tested the child theme within last theme version but haven’t found any issues the menu-top file overwrites as it should via child theme. I suggest you go trough out you modifications and check if you can find the cause of your issue and also provide more details about your issue if possible.

ok I will check – because I did make some changes to the base files before.

About the breadcrumbs: Please can you fix in next release because it causes problems in my site with 404 page not found when these links are clicked.

Some other issues with forum:

1. How do I place some text on the forum page? I wanted to put a description on the forum main page, but when I enter in the page editor it does not get displayed.

2. Which ad block display on the forum pages? I cannot find a way to put in ads.

1. There is no option for that but you could try this solution provided on bbpress forum codex: https://codex.bbpress.org/layout-and-functionality-examples-you-can-use/#16-adding-description-to-forum-pages

2.You could create a custom sidebar and add your ad in it, then set it as sidebar for your bbrpress template form here: http://screencast.com/t/q40xVHNVw

You can also edit forum templates and add your ad using shortcodes and the do_shortcode() function.

Hi Lucian, i fixed it, it has problem with another caching pluging. So if any1 has same problem, first of all deactivate caching or bossting addons. (i solved with that way)

The social counter plugin included into the latest theme version is 2.9 so make sure you have it and try again. I have also tested this and worked fine:

Make a backup of your current theme installation and a note of all customization you’ve made to the theme files then use the guide below and the FTP method to update the theme. I can’t tell what wrong from those screens and I need to inspect this. Please let me know what type of video url you’ve used and how you used it as the theme only supports vimeo/youtube and/or dailymotion videos when you set a video post format: http://screencast.com/t/BGQTpngrnT

I suggest you also try this without plugins active, leave just the Visual Composer plugin active, empty all caches and check again.

Envato specifies that each theme can be used for one product (site): http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard If you want to use it on multiple sites you would have to buy a license for each project(this doesn’t mean you can’t use it on multiple test sites).

We plan to change the theme’s grid system in the next update and we’ve decided not to include RTL option anymore, sorry for the inconvenience. We haven’t updated the rtl css so you could experience issues of this type unfortunately, try the solution from below.

1. For the logo use this custom css in theme panel custom css > field:

Newspaper 5 will contain the same post templates with the according featured images sizes and besides the existing ones more will be added.

We will try to make the update process as easy as possible and if unexpected changes will not occur the same settings as on version 4 will be present in version 5 also.

The thumbnails system will work in the same way as it dose now and a thumb will be made for all modules, sliders, post templates. You can adjust this using a plugin like Regenerate thumbnails plugin and recreate all thumbs needed.

We will try to implement the infinite scroll option on category pages and related posts but I can’t give you an certain answer on that at this moment.

Unfortunately the theme’s header style don’t have an template like that an you would need additional customization for it.

Hi,

You need to use your adsense code inside one of the ad sense spots located in the panel. The ad code is automatically detected by the theme and it will be rendered. If you enter a google adsense code, the theme will make it responsive and the ad will fill the available space.
