Good morning, I find no way to add a portfolio at a glance. I searched shortcodes and visual composer and can not find the way. I do not see there is any tutorial about it or comment on it in the documentation.

You can’t force the height of a window due to the fact that each and every device has a different solution. Especially when your site gets viewed on a tablet or phone the window height won’t take effect and the user will see a different amount of content. One thing you could do is use the full page revolution slider setting and then adding an offset bottom for the navigation which then would display the navigation on initial load. We are doing the same on our sales page.

I will be purchasing the theme in the next day or two but have a question.
I know its asked a lot and the same response comes up time and time again but here’s my version. I will be using the theme to build a site for a photographer who wants an area that their clients can log into to download their photos or at least view them.
Using the protected content shortcode is it possible to have a gallery sat behind it that is specific to a user account? or alternatively could we create a gallery page that is for that client, with the protected content shortcode in front and only allow access to that page for the one client?
I guess this scenario also applies to using the shop in a similar way so the client can actually buy the photos after logging in? I want to try and keep to theme X as much as possible without going to 3rd party plugins.

Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! The protected content shortcode is just a gateway to show/hide content based on if a user is logged in or not, you cannot necessarily keep a user from seen another user’s photos once they’re logged in. However, you can get creative and create little mini-galleries if you wanted using one of our blank templates with no header or footer to hide the navigation, and then encapsulate all the content on that page within this shortcode. Then, when you’re ready, you send out only that link to the person who needs it and it will keep things slightly separated. If you’re in need of a more robust user/content management system, you’ll definitely need to look into something in this arena as it is somewhat beyond the realm of a theme and the protected content shortcode is really only meant for simple use cases, nothing overly complex (but you can see that with some varying options and setup that you could certainly achieve something very similar).

Hello! I am thinking about purchasing your awesome theme, I just have couple of questions to clarify some things:
1. I need an integrated Google Maps with multiple markers like in Flato Parallax theme for example. I used Google Maps WP and other plugins in other responsive one page themes but they did not look right: only in a small window, not page wide. Does any of your sub themes include page template of google maps with multiple markers? Like in the end of Renew 02 theme, but with multiple markers.
2. Are the custom icons and artworks included in ai, psd or eps formats?
3. Is there login functionality shown on the top of the veiw 2 of the renew theme? Is that included in demo?

Thanks for writing in and for your kind words! Allow me to run through your points one by one:
- Our [google_map] shortcode (a little ways down the page) allows you to place multiple markers as desired. You can read up on it there and see how it works. You can certainly utilize this in any capacity of the theme from a very large area like Renew 2, to a smaller place in the content. Keep in mind that the map will be centered on load, so if a small screen sees it or a large screen sees it, it will be centered for that screen. However, if the screen is resized, it will no longer remain this way. This has to do with Google Maps’ API and how it operates. Similarly, if you have a wide map with lots of markers and view the map on a small screen, you might not see all the markers based on other setting such as your zoom level, et cetera. Again, this has to do with Google Maps’ API.
- All of the icon utilized in the theme are via Font Awesome, and you can use them throughout the theme where needed.
- I’m not entirely following this last point, would you mind providing a little more clarity so I can more thoroughly address your inquiry?

Thank you for all the answers! I did not formulate my questions well. As for the second question:
2) By flat icons I meant the flat artwork design that you put in renew02 next to “The Internet” (cloud with a long shadow in the red circle) and “Our Goal” (mouthpiece) sections of the website, as well as all the circular ones next to “local”, “digital”, “functional”, “timely” and “detailed” sections. Do I get them in vectors (psd, ai or eps) if I buy the themes, so I could edit and/or use them?
3) Is there an actual dashboard that users could see when they log into the website? Like the one you’ve got at the top of the renew04.

2. We are not allowed to distribute/share the image/icons that you see in Renew 2 due to their licensing but they are available on the designers website for a small fee. We can give you the address to acquire them via email if you would like to use them.
3. Users will see the default WordPress dashboard when they log in. There are many plugins out there which can add a front end interface to the site if you want to provide such functionality to your customers.

Yes, there is an integrated version of Visual Composer that you are prompted to install upon installation of the theme. This video walks you through the process. Disabling comments happens in your WordPress dashboard either globally under Settings > Discussion or on a page by page basis in your WordPress editor down in the Discussions section.

I purchased X last night…working on putting the site together now, but while trying to setup demo content…the page doesn’t allow me to click or choose a stack or any of the radio buttons. I can use other pages, forum, dashboard and so on, but the demo content page doesn’t response to the mouse clicks. I’ve tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox…none are working at all.

Please also provide more context as the demo content process works so it sounds like something else might be amiss with your specific install. I would also recommend trying to reinstall the theme completely and make sure any other 3rd party plugins you have are disabled. Be sure you have checked out the Demo Content Knowledge Base in the meantime.

Hi! My friend purchased this theme and is using Icon 2. I’m trying to help her with the lightbox shortcode, and I’ve visited the knowledge base, looked through the PDF documentation, copied and pasted it exactly as instructed, but it’s still not quite working properly.
Obviously she wants the gallery images to open as a lightbox on the same page, but it’s still linking directly to the file and taking you to the attachment page of the image. When I create a gallery, what should I be selecting in the portion that says “Link to:” where the options are Attachment Page, Media File, None?

That is not so much a theme question as it is a workflow question for you. You can customize the theme on a separate installation or development environment and then move it to your main site once ready but that would simply be a process you need to decide/manage.

I really like your theme and am considering buying it. I have a few questions in advance, though.
1) Are there any known major incompatibilities with popular Wordpress plugins such as Hyper Cache or security plugins such as Wordpress Firewall 2 or ithemes security and your theme?
2) Are child themes supported? Would you recommend using one when making changes to your original theme or does the automatic update process without previous manual changes? (I suppose not but anyway ;))

We do not know any major incompatibilities with these plugins but we can’t guarantee that each and every plugin will work with our team due to the fact that we are not in control of the code quality of the plugin. We know that a lot of our customers are using the caching plugin W3 Total Cache and iThemes security so you should be fine using those two.
2. Yes we support child themes and recommend using them to prevent losing any customizations when updating our theme. Our automatic updates only affect the parent theme so your child theme will always stay untouched.

1. In our demo we did not define the registration/login page in the BuddyPress settings, if you enable this feature you will have a “on-page” login/registration form.
2. Yes you can choose an option that lets you stick your header to the top. In some of our demos you can see the fixed navigation feature enabled (for example Integrity 1).
3. That’s currently not an option available in X.

I dumped over my Wordpress website from a subfolder to the main root in the File Manager (FTP program), and updated everything correctly, but whenever I refreshed my website, it is now showing incorrect theme colours, buttons colours are wrong, the lay is different now…
How do I get it back to original!

And I believe I updated demo content as well..

Hi Nazar,
While I’m not sure what you mean by “dumbed over my WordPress website” as far as X is converned, there is a Customizer export feature built into the Customizer that is accessible under Addons that allows you to export your settings and import them into a new install for just this purpose. This is also explained in our documentation, so if you did not export your Customizer settings as recommended before deleting the old install, you will need to reselect everything in the new install.
