No, the Stacks can not be used interchangeably like that. There is a high degree of customization at your disposal within each Stack so structurally you may be able to create something close, however each of the Stacks have several unique features (you can learn more about the Stack-specific features by clicking on the Integrity Features, Renew Features, etc at the bottom of our demos.

Navbar background color can be changed in the Customizer when using the Renew Stack as that is a unique feature of that Stack given it’s flat design.

Customers are certainly welcome to extend the functionality of their X-powered site with the use of 3rd party plugins, however our policy is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way (Revolution Slider, Gravity Forms, our own Extensions, etc) then we can not provide support or guarantee compatibility. The implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise are the responsibility of each customer. Technically speaking, since X was developed according to development best practices, any well developed 3rd party plugin should play nicely with X, however due to the virtually limitless nature of things that can and often times do go wrong with software, we can’t support something that we have not first developed or integrated into the theme. For plugins that are integrated into the theme, support covers product related questions (no customizations).
Having said that, we do have a video header feature where a video file can play in the background as seen in our Integrity 01 Demo.

Really excited to buy this template! Like many other commenters already asked the main piece missing in this robust theme is an events calendar feature.
Are you aware of any example sites that have successfully integrated a third party plugin, I know through reading all previous comments in regards to event calendar that you DO NOT provide support to 3rd party products, but again, I’m just looking to see one or two successful implementations within the X theme to go forward with the purchase.

While we do not have an integrated events calendar feature in the theme given this is not something that should be in a theme but rather a 3rd party solution, we do have a Showcase of hundreds of examples of actual sites built with X that you are welcome to browse. They are organized by Stack, and there are several that include varying forms of event registration (none specifically come to mind because they are not organized that way, but we have seen several).

We integrate with WooCommerce, and you can customize WooCommerce based upon the needs of your particular shop (you can have one product or several). With regards to the customization of your shop that would be each individual customer’s responsibility as we simply provide the integrated functionality between the theme and WooCommerce plugin. Hey. A while ago, when was exploring your theme, I noted in your demo content that you have a visibility option used in page builder. You created double the content so it could be visible on desktops and mobile devices. Question. Do I have to do the same thing while building a page, or it will adopt responsively to a device one is using? Another question. What plugs, unless you have those built in, would you recommend to use along with WooCommerce, so I can have wishlist and some other cool features other eCommerce WT templates have? It’s not so much double the content as it is specifying what content you want to appear on certain devices when using the Visibility Shortcode. The theme itself is responsive so even if you don’t use the Visibility Shortcode your site will still respond. X is also 100% fluid which is an even more advanced form of responsiveness. Just keep in mind the difference between the two: X is always responsive and will respond based on the device accessing the site and the Visibility Shortcode will simply allow you to specific certain content that you only want to appear on certain devices.
With regards to extensions to WooCommerce, regretfully that would go outside the scope of our own support as we simply provide integration and support for their standard plugin. Customers are welcome to extend the functionality of their sites in any way they see fit and based on the needs of their site.

You have many different options for the blog of which you can see some examples in our different demos (especially the 01 demos for each Stack by clicking on the blog link), however there are currently no specific configurations quite like that out of the box for the blog. Be sure to check out some of the unique features to each Stack as they explain the standard features then feel free to let us know if you need anything further.

I have a quick licensing question. I have one domain, but for various reasons, I have 3 separate wordpress installations. It’s one website, one domain, just 3 installs. Would I need a separate license for each, or it the license per domain? To clarify, they aren’t different websites, there’s just a landing page/about us on one, a member forum on another install, and our main membership learning platform (which is very plugin-heavy and heavily used, hence the separate installs to improve overall site performance).

The license is for a single use/install so technically if you are installing it in multiple locations you would need multiple licenses. Envato would be the ones to reach out to for a more specific answer as they are the ones who set the terms of the license (and it is the same for all themes sold on ThemeForest). They can be reached at: support@envato.com. Keep in mind that with our licensing system as well, each verified purchase allows you to install and automatically update one install, so if you were wanting to set up automatic updates for 3 different installs you would need 3 transaction IDs. Envato would certainly be able to clarify and give a more specific answer to your particular use case.

Hi! I have to admit that this is the best theme I’ve been working with so far. I have one important question.
I generated a website for a friend and used one of my subdomain and my webspace. I now want to transfer the finished page to his webspace. How do I cope with the API key? The whole website data will be deleted from my webspace and subdomain right after the transfer succeeds. Is it really necessary to rebuy the theme for this issue?

Hey Oliver,
Thanks for writing in and for your exceptionally kind words. If you haven’t done so already, you can read up about how to manage your API keys here in our Knowledge Base. It goes into great detail on how to create, implement, or revoke API keys as needed. If you’re simply moving from one space to another, you can simply revoke the API key for the domain it’s on currently and then generate a new one for the new subdomain. Another workaround is if you’re working locally and on version control, you can apply the API key to your local installation at something like mysite.dev, and then just push up your changes as needed to your live environment. Per ThemeForest’s licensing agreement, you must have a license for every end domain you plan on using the theme on. If you’re just testing on one domain then moving over, you can revoke or use version control as previously mentioned, or if you want to keep both active, then yes you would need to purchase another key to do this.

Can I set prefined page builder layouts that are used for every new post in a custom post type?

Thanks for writing in! While you can’t do this by default, you can easily save page templates in Visual Composer and then reuse them again when you create a new post. Hopefully this helps!

As you have asked this question several times in the past, the answer is still the same we do not support UberMenu in the theme as we have our own integrated megamenu functionality. Our 01 Demos on each Stack give an example of how our feature works if you hover over Shortcodes (hover over Music on the Ethos demo). There is not an option to add images as the feature is solely for organizing a large number of text links, so if how it is in the theme is not to your liking you would either need to customize it or hire a developer to help achieve what you are trying to achieve.
This might be a silly question but, can I change the “red” color of the integrity main demo and change it to another that I like. Can see a demo of that ?
If you mean the link color, yes. This is set in the Customizer.
Does the theme has an option where you set the overall primary color that gets applied to the dropcap background, the button in the callout shortcode, the background for the entry share links and hover, the pricing table button as well as featured price header background etc… or are they individually set?
There is a site wide link color that is tied to various elements like that, so yes, you can set that in the Customizer.
Does this theme allow video backgrounds?

Sure can There is a video header option that you can see in our Integrity 01 Demo (that can be used with any Stack we simply show the feature in Integrity). In addition, you can add a video loop background for a content band as shown here. There is no sound for the videos, and they simply play in a loop as you can see in those examples.
