If you go to my website, http://ouruoft.com, what I’m looking to do is make the main content on the home page (to the left of the side bar) such that if I change the background colour of one of the rows, it will span the entire main content width. If you scroll down to the second row, that’s an example of what currently happens if I set the background colour of a row to be different from the Main Content background colour.

This happens automatically when there are no sidebars, but when you add sidebars the main content wrapper gets padding.

Unfortunately you can’t achieve that while using a sidebar. Cheers

If you are referring to the from the bottom right corner of the screen, the this is a form made by us directly and it has just a few configurations that you can find in “Theme Options > Layout settings”.

In that case please do a page, called for example, “Footer Content”, take the ID of that created page and use it with the following code, which you’ll need to add it in your functions.php file.

Our products are build on Mac’s, and i can assure you there’s nothing wrong from our theme. I did indeed saw the extra scrolling, and i can assure you that is added by a additional plugin that you’ve installed.

From what I suppose the problem might come from the “mousewheel-smooth-scroll” plugin, try to deactivate it.

We didn’t tested this plugin and don’t know if the design will match out of the box. But from what it seems buddypress does much more than this plugin, maybe you can consider it as an alternative.
