I’ve just purchased and loaded this theme and can’t activate the licence due to the fact that we are working from a temporary url for dev.
Keep being told ‘Domain is not valid’
We are working with this format: http://192.163.102.118/~username
How do we get around this please? Need to start work ASAP.

Not sure if you have read through the product validation KB article, however to be valid it has to be an actual domain (mysite.com), sub domain or folder (testing.mysite.com or mysite.com/folder), or even a local environment (mysite.dev). Any of those will work, however a non resolved IP will not be able to be validated. You can definitely still work out of that if you need to, you simply can’t validate and will have to install things manually. More info on that can be found here right above the HostGator Users section at the bottom.

1) does this theme require knowledge of css if so do you provide support for css
2) can everything be reproduce with visual composer
3) im running a multisite can i use the plugin pro site….also when using a mutisite do i have to keep purchasing x theme for every site i build with it on my server
4) do you have form builder that comes with it…. meaning contact form i would like to position the box side by side, would that require css.

1) This depends on the level with which you want to customize your site. There are many controls for things you wish to edit in a more visual manner, however for more extensive customizations, you will need to know CSS or work with someone that does. While we are happy to help our customers with the occasional quick CSS edit here or there, support covers product related questions (non customizations).
2) Our integrated version of VC is for building pages using our Shortcodes.
3) You can see our policy for 3rd party plugins here.
4) We provide integrated styling for both Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms. CF7 is free to download by the company who owns it and GF would require a purchase as their product is not free.

Hello, I got to say that your theme is beautiful.
I’m experiencing some difficulties with the mobile version of my site. http://plantemos1000arboles.org/ If you check the regular version it looks awesome (still working out some stuff) but if you go to the site on a phone, it’s a mess, text wont show, or show some modules that in the regular version won’t (and I dont want to) also makes the browser crash (test it on iOs chrome and safari, android chrome). The reason some of the content is not showing is because you have it wrapped in the Visibility Shortcode which means it will only show on certain screen sizes/devices.
I’m not new to WP but I’m still having a hard time figuring out why my pages have “Leave a Reply” at the bottom even though I have turned off discussions? My sidebars also aren’t showing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Great! Make sure you have gone into the Customizer > Layout & Design and that Fullwidth is not selected under Content Layout. You’ll want to select one of the other two options. You will also have the option when creating a page to select from one of the many page layouts over on the right hand side of your WordPress dashboard when creating/editing a page.

Hi I have a few pre-sale Q’s. 1.) On the http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/ page, how was this made with the slide ups? Is that the Rev slider? 2.) How flexible is the nav menus hover, can the integrity use the same effect as Icon with the oval tab? I would like it to be a round circle with color background, is this possible?

Thanks for writing in! Allow me to run through your questions for you:
- This is indeed a Revolution Slider feature. We integrate with it in a manner that you can place it before all content; then, using all of Revolution Slider’s features you can design anything to your liking in that space.
- Think of each Stack as a theme within a theme. Just as with WordPress you can only have one theme active at a time and cannot directly reference functionality or styling in another theme, it is similar with Stacks. When a Stack is active, its own unique set of features, functionality, and styling are in place to utilize. If you wanted the oval effect like what you’re seeing on Icon, you would need to setup a child theme and implement this customization on your own to achieve the effect as it would not be available to simply move over into Integrity if that’s the Stack you were using.

I know you are compatible with mail chimp. Is that the only email tool you are compatible with?
In terms of an opt-in form, do you have the capability to do an opt-in bar right beneath the slider, as a bar (as featured here: http://www.marieforleo.com/)
What type of compatibility do you have with Optimizepress and Leadboxes, if any?

Hi Monica!
At the moment, MailChimp is the only email provided we directly integrate with. You can place a form inside a bar, but the inputs will be stacked on top of each other rather than being “inline” Having them inline is possible with custom CSS, and it’s a feature request we’re considering for a future version.
We don’t integrate with either OptimizePress or Leadboxes.

Got the theme installed and trying to import the Integrity demo to get more familiar with the them.
However, when we go through the registration process and submit the API key we are getting the following error:
Could not establish connection. Please ensure your firewall is not blocking requests to theme.co
We have turned off the firewall and still getting the message. Is there a work around for this issue because we can’t access the Demo Content option under Add-Ons to import the Integrity demo we want to use.

Validation is definitely something we keep in mind. We’re keen to stay ahead of standards and remain fully cross browser compatible. The main point of these validation tools is to reveal potential issues.
In many cases, we’ve decided not to act on them for various reasons. For example, there are advanced CSS techniques we employ that are only possible in modern browser. However, we always make sure there are “fallback” solutions so other browsers still work.
There’s nothing serious about the errors above. Those validators are always incredibly strict, and we’ve found that chasing down every error is just tedious with no real return. We follow all the high level standards and best practices, but we’re more concerned about what works in the browser over perfect validation.

After buying and testing 5 other themes which turned out not to be good enough for me, I am about ready to try X. The demo that I need to use to start off my eCommerce project will need to have full integration with WooCommerce, BuddyPress, and bbPress. Can you please suggest which stack and which demos exactly to preview (the ones with your very best integration for these 3 plugins), and I would truly appreciate a quick reply as I need to make a fast decision. All our stacks support all 3 plugins so it’s up to your preference, I would recommend going through each and every demo and if one of the demos suits your needs then go with that one.
I am using a wordpress page as my homepage for the blog. We would like to incorporate the Post-Slider that is included on the default recent blog post page into our wordpress page (which we will be using as our homepage). I see the slider is not a revolution slider, and also not the other simple image slider that is included. How can we add the post-slider to a wordpress page?

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Thanks for writing in and we’re sorry to hear that you seem to be having some troubles. Regarding this situation, I would first ensure that you’re truly trying to upload the correct .zip file. Make sure you are uploading a .zip file of only the theme, not the “All files and documentation” download. If you are trying to upload the wrong .zip, you will surely see this error. Additionally, if you’re experiencing max filesize limit problems, this is something related to your host, and you will either need to upload the unzipped theme manually via FTP to the proper location on your server, or consult with your host regarding changing your upload limit.
Regarding migrations, regretfully we cannot assist in these particular matters as they are beyond the scope of our support as any activity such as this must be handled by each individual and each case is unique. That being said, a few things to keep in mind are If it is straight HTML and you’re moving to WordPress, you should be able to simply copy and paste in what you need. If you’re migrating from one WordPress theme to another (it sounds like you are based on your description), your content should move over without needing to do anything; however, you may need to style it if you’ve done a lot of custom work via a child theme. We provide child themes in our member center that you can download and use to customize your theme as needed.
