Three questions regarding Qode Slider:
1) How can I control from what side my graphics slide in and out out (like on the Business demo)?
2) How can I set the speed at which my text/graphics appear in relation to one another?
3) How do I make the graphics/text/container work responsively? As the screen gets smaller the graphic/text don’t shrink or stay within their containers (example http://conferencecapturemedia.com/site/). And at 800px my graphic and text flips sides.

1) The slider in the Business demo is not a Qode Slider, but a Layer Slider. The LayerSlider plugin which comes with our theme offers detailed options to control the entering and exiting animations of slides. With the Qode Slider the animations are predefined.

I’ve set up a lot of my website already, is there a way to import the business demo slides to study them without messing everything I’ve already done?

Unfortunately this is not an option in our theme, as only one demo can be imported at a time, and importing a new demo would change all the global options you have set for your site. You could however create a fresh installation of WordPress and Bridge on some localhost, and then import the demo there and study it.

Re: importing layerslider WP slides from demo – I created a fresh WP install and added the bridge theme. I imported the Business demo with ALL type chosen and import attachments checked; I noticed there was no layerslider WP option. I found the /plugin/ folder so I unzipped it and moved the layerslider folder into the correct /plugin folder/. I am still unable to get the demo slides. What steps do I take to get them imported so I can study them?

you need to import the Layer Slider content separately. To import the LayerSlider for this demo, unzip the file you received on purchase and inside it in the “xml export” folder find the file named “LayerSlider_Export_Bridge3”. Now go to LayerSliderWP from your admin panel and under “Import Sliders” click on “Choose File” and then select the “LayerSlider_Export_Bridge3” file and then click on “Import”
If your slider is still not displaying, then copy its shortcode and go to the page your slider should be on and in Qode Custom Options find the Enter Layer slider or Qode slider shortcode field and copy the shortcode in there.

Hi guys. First off, thanks for the great support here. I really appreciate it. I’m using the Visual Composer on my Posts, and the VC code is appearing on the main feed summary section. I read through the comments here, and am already using the Excerpt and the VC: Custom Teaser setting excerpt, but it is not overwriting the code as indicated. I am running Bridge version 6.3. When using visual composer, every time I try and drag an element, it freezes and I have to refresh the page to get back to it. So basically, I’m unable to move anything around in visual composer any more. I have downloaded the latest version of the theme and visual composer (4.3.4 I believe), but it’s still giving me issues. How do I resolve this?

Please make sure that you have the latest version of both the theme and Visual Composer (the latest version of VC that comes with the theme is version 4.4.3), since this drag and drop issue is a known issue between an older version of Visual Composer and WordPress 4.1. You should be able to solve this issue by updating your theme and Visual Composer to the latest version.
Tu update Visual Composer, after you have update the theme you need to go to your plugins panel and delete Visual Composer. Then you will receive a notification at the top of your dashboard saying that some required plugins need to be installed. Install and activate Visual Composer via this notification and you will receive the latest version of the plugin, which should solve this issue.
If this doesn’t help and you already have the latest versions of both the theme (6.5) and Visual Composer (4.4.3), then please submit a ticket to https://qode.ticksy.com/ with a link to your site and temp wp-admin access so our support team can take a closer look at the issue and see what they can do to help.

Hey Into your «light» demo, the slider on the landing page is not full height. We can see the green call to action just below the slider. i have downloaded this demo (without images), but the slider is full height. This is a LayerSlider. To set it to not be full height, please go to edit your layerslider, and in the options for the slider set the slider height to 630 to make it the same height as the slider in our demo.

You can add gifs to the Gallery shortcode instead of static images, and you can then implement the gallery shortcode inside tabs and toggles if you like.

If you mean how to create a Masonry Blog List, you just need to create some blog posts, and then create a new page and set it to the “Blog Masonry” template. Then when you visit the page, all the posts you created should be displayed in a masonry blog list.

I’ve been trying to chance the Footer background image in the Bridge “Graphic Studio” demo. However I’ve uploaded a new background image under Qode Options > footers but the original image still shows… anything obvious i’m missing? Tried this multiple times without success. Thanks for any help.

To import a demo, please go to Qode Import, and in the “Demo Site” field choose the demo you would like to import, in the “Import Type” field choose “All”, and make sure to check the “Import attachments” checkbox. Then just click import and wait for the import to finish.

I started working on one demo but realized its not the one I want to use. Ive already made changes to the custom css, deleted some pages and replaced images with my own, etc. I want to start over fresh with a new demo and from there make changes as needed. How do I go about deleting everything so it doesn’t carry over to the new demo?

To delete all content, you need to go through your pages, portfolios, posts, media, and delete everything manually. You can do this more quickly by selecting for example all visible pages and then choosing “move to trash” from the dropdown menu in the “pages” view in the backend: http://screencast.com/t/nMQP0nb0O .
Please also make sure to go to Appearance > Menus and delete all menus that you haven’t created yourself, so they don’t duplicate on import. You should delete all menus each time before you import a new demo.
