Are you wanting a different layout for blog? You can choose it in a few areas depending on how you are using it.
If using the shortcode, edit the page and the blog element and select the different layout. If you are suing the assigned blog page in WP reading settings, then you can change it in theme options > blog.

Please make sure you are on 3.8.2 and also updated fusion core to 1.7.1. Clear all your cache and check your settings like for the logo, it sounds like you have the wrong width/height values inserted for retina logo.

Have been waiting for the smoke to clear from the 3.8+ upgrade to buy in but will be this weekend now that 3.8.2 seems stable (I’m sure you guys are exhausted at this point!) but I have a quick question in the meantime. I love how featured images work in Avada with the lightbox on portfolio pages to create nice smaller slide shows that can have larger lightbox images that can be viewed in sequence (rather than the typical “open larger image and close it when done, then return to the smaller slide shows flow” approach). However, I’d like to do the same on non-featured image slide shows on other pages, and hate how Revolution Slider does it with layers. (Besides the process being clunky, the lightbox images don’t seem to be able to sequence separately like those in featured image slideshows, and you have to return to the smaller slide show itself to continue the sequence.) I’m wondering if the inclusion of iLightBox in 3.8 enables what I want to do? I’d much rather use a treatment other than with featured images, because the one slideshow I want to create will have upwards of 30 images in the sequence, and I don’t want to bloat page templates with 30-image featured image frameworks just to create one slide show with the desired lightbox effect.
And to some of you frustrated users, the guys at ThemeFusion seem to be pretty darned responsive for a vendor of a product under $60. I know it’s problematic when these things happen, but that’s what backups are for.

You can use the lightbox shortcode to connect images to a slideshow. After the shortcode is inserted, change to the text editor in WordPress and set the data-rel attribute of the lightbox links to iLightbox[gallery1].
All images that have the same name in the brackets, will be shown in the same lightbox slideshow.

i just updated to v3.8.2 and I’m having an issue inserting image frames. I am able to add the image urls, but after saving, the image path is displaying in the alt text field. I am also unable to set widths for separators. Please advise.

For posts you can go to Theme Options > Blog and find http://prntscr.com/6ubkel. Same Option can be found in Theme Options > Portfolio. For pages there is a sinilar setting in Theme Options > Extra.
If you don’t want to ge the comments template overwritten on every update, we recommend using the Avada child theme. Copy the comments template there from the parent and change it to what you like.

VirusTotal results comes out as 2/51 detection..have you scan your theme on that site? I’m just asking because I never seen that on a clean theme unless it was infected.

We 100% assure you that is not valid, if any are showing up they are false positives, which is very common.
In addition Envato / Themeforest would not allow a theme here to be uploaded and approved if it had a virus. Each time an update is submitted the files are checked before it is approved.

Hello, I updated the Avada theme to 3.8.2 and the revolution slider has stopped working. My actual versión of revolution slider is 4.6.5. Are the updates to revolution slider included or do I have to purchase revolution slider?

That is the correct version of the rev slider. Please try to disable any other 3rd party plugins to see if a conflict is happening. nothing changed with the rev slider from the previous Avada update so all should be working. Also clear cache and check the individual sliders for any missing images.

Hey Luke, in 3.8 you fixed a bug where the scroll bar was jumping to the top of the screen after you clicked save or cancel on a builder element menu but now that bug is back in 3.8.2 can you please fix this? Also, I wrote Hassan back yesterday but still no reply yet so I’m hoping you guys can knock those two bugs out, thanks.

Hmm that can happen if the last item pulled was from the top of the screen. There was nothing I was aware of that changed that, it also happens with regular pages in WP and 3rd party meta boxes down below. But we can check into it.
Also we’re super busy with tickets, I’d say 50% of our customer base updated so reply times are higher than normal, we’ll get back to you!

Hey Luke, thanks for the info. It would be really great if you could disable this behavior because it can get really monotonous when editing page after page after page. It occurs whenever I hit save or cancel, but you can test it with cancel. Ok thanks for letting me know I figured there were going to be a lot of requests lol. Okay I will wait to hear from him but please let me know the status of the first bug, thanks!

I’ve checked this and cannot replicate, only time I can is if I have an item highlighted in the top control bar (like a builder element) and that is normal behavior as it reverts to the last used area.
I also had two others check this and verify it was ok. Can you post a ticket with a video example for us? I’ll check for your tickets and forward it on right away.

I have downloaded the portfolio grid layout fix and copy and pasted the css and replaced the style.css in wordpresss editor but the portfolio grid layout still does not work? I have submitted a ticket and still awaiting reply. Thanks

That page is not using grid layout, it is a 3 column portfolio and pictures are all the same size so there is no problem. The page in question is /home I have cleared the cache still the same. I cant find the section in your support website to follow up submitted tickets?
The tickets are all handled via email. Each time we reply you will get an email back. If you have not seen one check your spam/junk folder.

WooCommerce does not offer that as a default feature, however there may be a plugin that offers that. I would recommend searching or asking on woo forums, there has to be one for that! That would be a nice feature too, I will discuss this with our team for future version of Avada.

Most likely that is what is is. Oh also make sure you have updated fusion-core plugin and are using Avada 3.8.2.

Hi there. I just installed the new avid update and when tried to installed the DEMO it’s showing this: “We’re sorry but the demo data could not import, and it is most likely due to low PHP configurations on your server.” I contact my hosting and increase it to 128MB but I still get this issue.
