Thanks for your interest. The theme itself does not have that capability but you can load the popular plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/ to achieve the same.
Im trying to add/swap photos in the iphone slider. Where do I go in the admin panel to do this?
If you have imported the sample data, you can go to page section tab and the Intro section. You should see a shortcode for the iPhone slider there. All it requires is a comma separated values of images URLs. Thanks.

The cause of the issue is the menu item Publications with URL -
https://sotis.ist.utl.pt/sotis-ui/#group/219043332917Your site should function fine if you remove that URL. The theme is trying to treat this as an internal URL because of presence of #group but failing since it is not really a valid internal URL. Do you have the option of removing that URL ?
If you put the same in the dropdown menu which is shown on hover, you will have no issues, BTW. Only if it resides on the top level menu, it could lead to issues. I would suggest you make it a menu with single dropdown item which is seen on hover and which points to the URL above. Thanks.
Have made the change based on the login posted in the forum and the site works fine. Pls modify the menu according to your needs but try to avoid putting it in the top level menu. Thanks

I just bought the theme. Using it on a fresh install of WordPress. I set a static page as my homepage. The page is too wide for the browser window. Even the content goes from window edge to edge. For a $50 theme I expected it to work with even the most basic, out of the box use. I’ve made plenty of themes on my own and I only got this because a client wanted it specifically. Stuff like this shouldn’t happen. Hell, even the image logo doesn’t auto size itself to stay within the bounds of the section. Unless it is super small in height, it overflows into the section below it.
Thanks for your purchase. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. The theme does come with many page templates- you just chose the one which requires you to use the [segment] shortcode to constrain the content to a 1140px grid. The documentation has more nformation on the shortcode and templates. I feel loading the sample data will give you a better idea on how it all works. It’s frustrating to learn all by ourselves when the theme has many features.
As far as logo is concerned, the header does resize itself with increased logo size but you need to set top 0px on #site-logo element so that it is pushed up for bigger logos. It’s just a decision we have taken based on the many support requests we received on smaller logos which need to be pushed down to the center. Pls have a look at the sample data and contact us if you need further help.

I did all of that already. No matter the page template used, when viewing the site in Chrome, the issue is there. The content is always wider than the browser window. The logo section is not auto resizing the image, even when the top is set to 0px. In fact, in the mobile version of Chrome on Android, the logo image doesn’t even show up and there is a margin that shows up.
This most definitely is an issue with Chrome in general. If I open the site in IE, the overflow issue isn’t present.
Regarding the forced use of segment…that shouldn’t be needed. It should work correctly out the box. This just means that the template for advanced homepage needs the container set properly.
That is really strange that content is overflowing for all templates – honestly have not seen this before for any of our themes. Can you email me the URL and possibly temp login to livemesh.themes@gmail.com?
Regarding the logo in Android, pls set the retina logo, height and width in Site Logo tab in theme options and you should see a logo then.
Regarding the forced use of segment- if you know a way or a theme that supports full width parallax backgrounds (not just background color), full width portfolio segments by setting the container width by default, I will be more than happy to incorporate the same into all of our themes. Since you have dealt with many themes, you can probably help us do better. Thanks
Well, you are really fast – I replied to your issue within one hour in the dashboard – something that we do rarely and you already rated this theme 1 star. That was really rude of you and you did not even give our support person to chance to look at the issue (deactivated the theme within no time). Your bias towards the theme shows when you say – “I’ve made plenty of themes on my own and I only got this because a client wanted it specifically”.
I checked a couple of popular themes to see how they are doing the auto container width you are describing – the number one selling theme on ThemeForest does the way we do (there is no container width for full width pages) and another well respected one is being hacked through javascript to make it look like a full width theme. Sorry, there seems to no magic way to achieve what you expect. You can always use page templates that we have which automatically restrict container width if you dislike using [segment] shortcode.
Wow….talk about poor customer service. The customer rates your product based on their experience and you start calling names. golf clap Then you all but admit you rarely give prompt customer service. /smh
I gave it one star because I had a one star experience with one of the more expensive WordPress themes in here. There obvious Chrome issues on Windows 8, Mac, iOS, and Android.
I have used several themes and not one of them requires you to use a specific Short code to wrap simple text just for it to show up correctly. For instance, the theme I am using now, Enfold. And that too is a full width theme.
How can I have a bias towards this theme if I’ve never used it before? That doesn’t even make sense. If you can’t take criticism for your products, then why are you even doing this? I spent a couple hours testing and narrowing down the issue and told you how to reproduce it. Welcome to the real world where when the product you sell doesn’t work as advertised, they leave low ratings. I suggest you look at Enfold and take some notes.
I was willing to adjust y rating once the issues were resolved, but your lack of professionalism all but justifies it now. The out of the box experience with this theme was terrible for me. If I’m building a site for an Android app and the site is broken on Chrome, which is the browser on Android, then I can’t use it. A clean install with no setting changes and nothing but text should work….but your theme did not.
I have already requested a refund and will gladly cite your unprofessional response as an added justification.

Thanks for your interest. I am afraid that type of vertical carousel function does not exist in the theme. You may want to hire someone to get that done. The theme does not support the same natively.

Yes, Visual Composer should work fine with the theme. And if I understand your query right, you can disable WooCommerce plugin and the ecommerce function of the theme can be ignored. The theme can be used just to create a few pages of information. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks for your interest. Yes, although optional, you can set separate WP menu for each page through a dropdown selection in the page edit window.

Looks like something wrong with a widget in the footer. The footer widget area is not getting loaded making the scripts to not load. Can you temporarily remove the footer widgets and retry? Pls email livemesh.themes@gmail.com a temp login in case you still have trouble. Until you resolve the issue, you can temporarily disable smooth load from the general tab of theme options to see at least most of the page but since the scripts are not loading, you will still miss certain things.
Ok, perfect, thanks sou much! The problem is with the shortcode of the recent post, now does´n run correctly. Before was [recent_posts post_count=2 hide_thumbnail=”false” show_meta=”false” excerpt_count=70 image_size=”small”] Is now different?
The latest version has a small bug with recent_posts shortcode – I discovered this when testing the update for my other theme Extinct and now confirmed by you. You can try using the Recent Posts Widget for now which provides similar function.
The way to fix this would be to change line number 31 of framework/shortcodes/posts-shortcodes.php to -
$args['loop'] = new WP_Query(array('posts_per_page' => $post_count, 'ignore_sticky_posts' => 1));
The current code misses the WP_Query instantiation part and just constructs the arguments which leads to this error. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Pls turn off WPDEBUG on wp-config.php file in the root wordpress folder. This happens only if you have not set the portfolio category for a portfolio item. It is a warning and you can ignore this warning since it won’t affect the theme functioning. I have an update coming this week and will take care of this. Thanks for pointing this out.

No. These images are stock images and you will have to purchase them to use them in your site. You can use them during development as placeholders. Thanks!

I’m making a site to showcase multiple products of a brand.
1.) For the homepage, I’d like to have a slider and have 3 columns below it, each linking to different products. Sample here: http://www.mi.com/
2.) For the product page, I’d like to have sub-menu or tabs that navigate between the product’s Features, Specification, Gallery and Downloads. Is this theme able to create a sub-menu or tabs? Sample here: http://www.mi.com/en/redmi
3.) I was playing around with the demo and noticed that Home 1 and Home 2 had different top menu links. Are we able to set different menu for different pages?

1) This function will need custom HTML to be written to achieve this.
2) The theme does support tab function (as seen here – http://portfoliotheme.org/appdev/tab-shortcodes/) but not something that looks exactly the demo you linked to. Custom CSS will be required to style it that way.
3) Yes, the theme does provide a way to set separate menus for home pages via a dropdown of menus configured in Appearances->Menu window.

Thanks for your purchase. They do show up now. But I see that there is a script error in the page since some of the menu items do not have link URLs set (or set as blank). Pls set them (last time I checked I could only hack WordPress menu to not have URL otherwise, URL was a must for all menu items) and the error should go away.
