Hi, I purchased the theme and the site is up and running. But now I see there is an update to the theme. How do I update the theme without losing everything I have done so far. Should I switch the file folder through the ftp site, or is there a way to do it within WordPress? Thank you, Henry

If you have at least Update v1.2 installed, you can use the bundled plugin “Envato Market” to update the theme via WordPress dashboard. You have all the instructions there.
If you have a old version installed, you can update the theme via ftp, just rename the theme name folder to, for example, blake_old, and put the new version (unzipped) on the same spot.
You can also use this plugin to perform the update https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
Your content is stored on the database, and will not be touched, but just in case, we recommend to all users, make a full backup of everything first.

Hi, I just recently purchase Blake and I have been trying to get rid off the “Leave a Reply” section underneath every single page. I would like to disable that feature from all pages, except of course from the blog area. Let me know if there is an easy fix that I have missed. I have been fighting with it for the past three days. We don’t have any option to disable the comments on all pages, but you can easily use the wp bulk edition to remove them on all selected pages. Check this Screenshot

I have two prepurchase questions:
1. Does the Blake theme have the ability to restrict certain pages to be viewed by registered visitors only? Meaning that the site visitor must log in to view the restricted page, or if not registered, submit a form to register.
2. Can the map contain multiple pins and can these pins be customized?

Regarding your questions, unfortunately both features are not included in the theme, but you can easily install wordpress plugins for that. For example for the first feature, you can use this https://wordpress.org/plugins/pagerestrict/ Now for multiple map pins, you have this one https://pt.wordpress.org/plugins/easy2map/screenshots/
They are just two examples, there tons more!

We just buy the template but we receive an error when installing. The installation made with “Content importer” of the template is blocked at 89% when it has to uploading the demo contents. We also try the manual procedure but it fail at the same, because if we visit the page section, we don’t find any content page. So to use it we should have to create all pages from zero. Can you urgently help us?

Anyway… since this is taking some time, and I have a client who is waiting, I’m going to ask my Support question on here: When I use the Google Maps plugin, the map loads briefly, then I get an error; “Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”. Any ideas how to fix this?
check in Ultimate -> Google Maps. You need to add the Api Key (create one here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key )

Hi! I just purchased the theme today and just started building the site I’m working on. I came across two questions/issues. 1. When I am building content, it will not show any changes in the “preview” until I save. Do you have an idea what could be causing this? I have never had this issue before I installed this theme. 2. Is there a way to use a different version of the logo in the flexible header (after it shrinks)?

While the contents.xml file is imported is perfectly fine.

Muito bom mesmo! Se pudessem alargar o mesmo tema para aluguer de viaturas, casas, quartos de hotel, etc, como o tema traveler (https://themeforest.net/item/traveler-traveltourbooking-wordpress-theme/10822683) seria bombástico. Se por acaso tiverem a pensar fazê-lo avisem já por aqui que compro sem hesitar. Já agora, a opção “one click update” também era uma boa forma de venderem mais, uma vez que muitos, como eu, não sabem usar o child theme. Continuem o bom trabalho.
