Hello, I’m contacting you on behalf of a client that purchased your theme. The variation dropdowns on the product page of some products don’t work. They seem to lock up after making an initial selection and new options can’t be selected. I noticed this only happens when variations have certain settings, as an example:
A product has S,M,L sizes and comes in Red, Back and Green. Red and Black are available in all sizes however Green only comes in Large. When I set the variations to represent this, the dropdowns on that product page will lock up instead of filtering the proper options.

Sometimes in WordPress the permalinks needs to be re-saved which affects pagination.
Try going to Permalinks > Settings and clicking ‘Save’.

hi! i need to press enter twice(or click on search twice) to search in the ajax search that came with the theme, tried to get support from the plugin creator but they don’t support captiva theme (the captiva theme is not on their support list even if i enter purchase code) can you please help ? isravelo.com (search is on the top right corner)
also in mobile if the product have only one picture, then the picture disapear , if the product have more then one image then the thumbnail are so big that they take all of the screen, is there a css solution ?

Re: ajax search – the rendering of the search box does not match our theme demo e.g.

Re: mobile and product only having one picture – this is not a bug with the theme as we distribute it – again this must be related to your customizations.
My advice would be to do a clean Captiva install and then re-introduce your customizations one by one to see where the problem originates.

There are a series of media queries which hide the top bar once you get down to smaller devices.
i wouldn’t recommend changing the way it currently works as you’ll really need a custom header.php.
If you still want to go down that road make sure you do this via a child theme

Again this will not be a straightforward task unless you’re very familiar with responsive design.

Re: Alternative products category sidebar widget – I don’t currently have any alternatives to recommend as we’ve not tested any alternatives.
There are ones like this: http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-category-accordion/7117371But please note I’ve not tested them and we do not provide support for third party plugins. You could check with the developer though there if you have any pre sale questions.

This is not a problem with the theme – just take a look at the main demo sites checkout page for comparison.
It’s most likely either some custom css/html which is breaking the page or a plugin conflict.

The website was with GoDaddy before and was working perfectly. When it was transferred over to the new host, the scroll feature on the checkout page stopped working. Do you have any advice or insights of what happened?

Hi there,
It’s most likely a restriction your new host has on some key WooCommerce js files for storing sessions (my guess without seeing anything).
If you see errors in the Chrome web console this would be the most likely reason for this kind of issue.

Hi Do you know why when I activate Envato Wordpress Toolkit I get the following error message on all admin /frontend pages?

You shouldn’t need to add any keys to wp-config. I’d remove them and disable any security plugins. Then disable the Envato toolkit – I’ve done it loads of times without issue.

Have you followed the WPML Getting Started Guide? http://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/ – you need to create language versions of each page for WPML to work.

The theme is very good! I have some questions with the theme:
1. If I don’t want to spend money to use WPML. Does this theme compatible with the plugin “Polylang”?

It looks like you enabled Catalog mode – take a look in Captiva Theme Options -> WooCommerce General Settings – > Catalog Mode
ensure it is set to disabled and then save your theme options.
If it is please already set to be disabled send me your WP Admin user/pass and I’ll take a look.

Hello,
A few problems i’m having with your charming theme:
- I read in your documentation about the option to add a banner in a product category, but this option is not visible in my installation.
- The sidebar for the shop/products pages is too simple, can i tweak it to look more fancy?
- The parallax effect is not working, the image is fixed at the top of the page or, no matter what i tried.

Hi,
I purchased your theme recently but every row has a bottom-margin of 35px which leaves a white space. I have tried searching for ways to resolve it with cutsom css but even pasting the following:
.wpb_row, .wpb_content_element, ul.wpb_thumbnails-fluid > li, .last_toggle_el_margin, .wpb_button { margin-bottom: 35px; }
In to the custom css section and changing the margin size does not change a thing.
People speak about changing the margin in the visual composor settings but the version included with your theme does not include this.
It is driving me nuts, please help.

Something like this in Captiva Theme Options > Custom Code might work. I’d say it’ll affect some layouts & shortcodes though so a case-by-case basis is probably safer.
