Hi Can i Edit all the pages and theme using elementor or is there any admin panel of theme usign that i can change the theme according to me ??? or is elementor plugin is provided with the theme or not coz i dont have . kindly provide these details so i will buy the same accordingly thanks and great work !!!

Hi,

Thanks for your query. Yes, you can edit all the pages using Elementor. Also, some pages (Footnotes) are different than other pages. You can configure those pages from the Page Settings. We will help you to configure, edit the theme yourself. Elementor is a required plugin for Docly theme. You will get a prompt message to install the Elementor plugin after activating the theme.

Hi,

The OnePage documentation is a combination of all the pages of single documentation. And the right sidebar content is fixed. You can not edit the right sidebar content with Elementor. But you can control the right sidebar content from the Theme Settings.

Hi,

Make sure you have uploaded the retina logo in the Theme Settings > Header > Logo settings page. See the settings screenshot here https://prnt.sc/ubp651

If your logo still not looking clean, upload a double sized logo in the main logo upload field. Then set a custom width in the Logo Dimensions field. You can set the custom width half of the main size.

Hi. Does this theme require Elementor or any pagebuilder plugin to run?

Also, can the loading icon (that displays between page loads) be disabled?

This theme looks great, although seems to run pretty slow on the demo site.

Thanks for your query.

Elementor is used in the theme to build the demo page contents/sections. You have to install the Elementor page builder to get demo elements.

And yes, the pre-loader can be disabled from the Theme Settings > Pre-loader page.

We are continuously improving the theme along with speed optimization.

It’s not a category system. There is parent child relationship with the docs. See a screenshot of here docs in admin area.

Hello, I purchased this theme, but how to change the URLs of the posts/articles? All articles have this /docs/docly-documentation/elements/ in the links. When I try to edit, it does not let me change. I do not want the word ‘docs’ or ‘docly-documentation’ in my links. please tell, how do I fix that. thanks.

Hi,

You can change the default `docs` slug with the following code snippet-


add_filter( 'register_post_type_args', 'docly_register_post_type_args', 10, 2 );
function docly_register_post_type_args( $args, $post_type ) {
    if ( 'docs' === $post_type ) {
        $args['rewrite']['slug'] = 'article';
    }
    return $args;
}

Put the code in the theme’s functions.php file and change the article with your own slug name. I recommend you use a child theme of Docly to apply the change.

Note: you will get a child theme and slug change option in the next version of Docly.

You can get the xml file in the theme directory. Go to the docly\inc\demo folder and get the contents.xml file. This the demo xml file. You can import it manually.
