I would like my 3 icon boxes to appear horizontally in a single row on both mobile and desktop however when I put together the appropriate row/column structure it forces each icon box vertically instead of horizontally on mobile (works fine in desktop). My row/column structure is the following:

-Row

—Column 4/12

- Icon Box

—Column 4/12

- Icon Box

—Column 4/12

- Icon Box

Given each icon box is in its own column inside a single row I would have thought each Icon Box would appear horizontally next to each other rather than vertically in their own rows on mobile. I believe this is a bug, otherwise what configuration changes can I make so that my Icon Boxes appear horizontally next to each other on a single row on mobile?

I have also raised this issue via Item Support.

Thanks again,

To set column widths individually:

  1. In UX Builder, open the options for the column you want to adjust
  2. Click the mobile icon in the right sidebar
  3. Change the width from 12 to 4

Hi,

After conducting a lot of research, I have decided to go with Flatsome. However, I have a couple of questions:

1. How easy is it to install/use the theme with an existing WooCommerce store with existing products?

2. Does it require a lot of customization or require re-creating the products/descriptions/images etc.?

2. Is there documentation available for this process? I checked the “How-to Guide” but couldn’t see one.

Currently using Blonwe.

Thank you

We appreciate your interest in Flatsome.

  1. Flatsome is designed to integrate seamlessly with WooCommerce. Installing and using the theme with an existing WooCommerce store is generally straightforward. The theme automatically adapts to your existing product structure and data.
  2. Flatsome doesn’t require re-creating your products, descriptions, or images. It will use your existing WooCommerce data. However, you may want to make some adjustments to take full advantage of Flatsome’s features and design options. The level of customization needed depends on your specific requirements and how closely you want your site to match Flatsome’s demo examples.
  3. While we don’t have a specific guide for transitioning from Blonwe to Flatsome, we offer comprehensive documentation for setting up and customizing Flatsome. Our documentation includes detailed instructions for working with WooCommerce stores. You can find this information in our knowledge base and video tutorials.

It’s important to note that switching between WordPress themes can present some challenges:

  • If your current theme (Blonwe) uses proprietary shortcodes, these may not work with Flatsome. You might need to replace these with Flatsome shortcodes or find alternative solutions.
  • Many theme-specific customizations made through the WordPress Customizer are not transferable between themes. You’ll likely need to reconfigure your site’s appearance using Flatsome’s customizer options.
  • If Blonwe introduced any custom post types or theme-specific areas, these may not be supported by Flatsome out of the box. You might need to recreate these or find alternative ways to display this content.
  • While WordPress tries to preserve Menus and Widgets, you may need to reassign widgets to new areas and potentially restructure your menus to fit Flatsome’s layout.
  • If you’ve used a page builder with Blonwe, compatibility with Flatsome may vary. Some content must be rebuilt using Flatsome’s built-in page builder (UX Builder) or a compatible third-party solution.

To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend the following steps:

  • Back up your current site before making any changes
  • Install Flatsome on a staging site first to test the transition
  • Review our documentation on WooCommerce integration
  • Identify any theme-specific elements (shortcodes, CPTs, etc.) in your current site and plan for their replacement or transition
  • Use our support forum or submit a support ticket here if you encounter any specific issues during the process

We’re confident Flatsome’s robust features and compatibility with WooCommerce will make it a valuable choice for your online store. If you have further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your detailed answer! I truly appreciate it. Testing it on the staging site would be the best course of action. I will proceed with the purchase accordingly.

Thanks again!

Hello, this really is the best website there is. Keep up the good work. But I still have one very big request. Can you add a table of contents for blog posts? When you click on something in the table of contents, it jumps directly there. That would be great.

You can vote on an existing feature request or submit a request here for a new feature you want to see on Flatsome.

Top-rated features will be included in our developer’s to-do list.

Hello, is it possible to get an answer on this with out paying for new support?

The flip book has H1 tags in the product title so if i have for example 8 products in the flip book Google Seo sees eight H1 tags when it should only beone H1 tag on homepage, this is not good see image of your flip book https://ibb.co/VNzhpWh

How can this be change easily please?

Warm regards Birk

You can override the flipbook template by copying the “flatsome/woocommerce/content-product-flipbook.php” file into the “flatsome/woocommerce/” folder.

sorry but the content-product-flipbook.php is already in “flatsome/woocommerce/” folder.

Sorry, it should have been “flatsome-child/woocommerce/.” The h1 tag is on line 36.

Yes, please extend your support from the right sidebar of this page and submit a new ticket here.

Our support team will be happy to assist.

Great theme overall.

Thank you :)

Installing flatsome on new version of woocommerce, everything not works like before. example, currently cart layout can be set to “simple”. But there is no way to set the layout for checkout page, so if cart layout is using simple breadcrumb, in the checkout page it uses default breadcrumb which doesnt make sense

There is no layout issue between Flatsome v3.19.6 and WooCommerce v9.3.3. Could you submit a support ticket here?

need to make sure before making purchase decision.

We haven’t tested that plugin yet. We can only guarantee compatibility with the bundled plugins, official WooCommerce extensions, and commonly used plugins like Yoast SEO, WP Rocket, etc.

You can join our official Facebook Community and get the opinions of our users (+37K) who are already using that plugin. Please don’t forget to accept the group rules of the Facebook Community if you decide to join.

i install flatsome on fresh install. why the button on cart and checkout page is transparent? is this default behaviour? see: https://postimg.cc/gallery/DKcz1my

Since Flatsome is not a block theme yet, we don’t recommend using Cart and Checkout blocks. We are currently working on v4, which will be a hybrid (block + template) theme.

Will the booking theme come out at all?

Our development team is currently working on v4 and the improved Flatsome Builder. New templates will occasionally be added to Flatsome Studio, but we can’t provide a specific date for this.

Dear Flatsome Support, we are using the Flatsome theme on our website in combination with WooCommerce and FooEvents. For some time now, we have been experiencing an issue with this combination. We have already communicated with the FooEvents support team, and they have traced the current error back to the theme.

The problem occurs as soon as both Flatsome and FooEvents are active, and a user accesses a category. In this case, the database crashes due to an SQL query that is generated. This issue is extremely critical for us, as it significantly affects the functionality of our website and could deter potential customers.

As we are unable to resolve the problem ourselves, we urgently require support to find a solution. We would greatly appreciate any assistance or recommendations that could help us resolve this issue quickly.

We haven’t tested that plugin yet. We can only guarantee compatibility with the bundled plugins, official WooCommerce extensions, and commonly used plugins like Yoast SEO, WP Rocket, etc.

We recommend contacting a professional for compatibility issues with other plugins since it’s outside our support scope due to the Envato Support Policy.

You can also join our official Facebook Community and get the opinions of our users (+35K) who are already using that plugin. Please don’t forget to accept the group rules of the Facebook Community if you decide to join.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hello, how can we add Modified on “date” by “user” under Posted by on all blog posts?

You can override the entry-title template by copying the “flatsome/template-parts/posts/partials/entry-title.php” file into the “flatsome-child/template-parts/posts/partials/” folder.

Hi Flatsome,

I have identified an issue on the product page where when there are 2+ images in the gallery once the 3rd thumbnail is selected the primary image will cut in size. All my images are the same size of 1500 X 1800 and this issue only seems to occur when the gallery contains images with larger height than width.

I have investigated this issue myself via the browser DevTools and found its an issue with the flickity-viewport div, where the height property reduces once the 3rd thumbnail is selected.

I have uploaded a screen share to demonstrate the issue for your investigation.

Your report has already been sent to our development team. If it’s considered a theme bug, it’ll be fixed.

Hello,

I’ve recently migrated a website and domain (dearestteam.com) to my own server, and I noticed that the Flatsome theme is still registered under a previous account. As a result, I am unable to receive theme updates or manage the registration.

Do I need to contact the previous developer/owner of the Envato token to be able to update the theme? If there’s an alternative way to proceed, please let me know.

You need to contact the licensee who has all rights to that license.

Hi,

How can I disable breadcrumbs from product page. Once I enabled, and now I can’t find where to disable it again.

thanks!

Could you try the snippet below?

add_action( 'init', function () {
    remove_action( 'woocommerce_single_product_summary', 'flatsome_woocommerce_product_breadcrumb',  0 );
});

Hello! Is there a way to make the mobile overlay menu behave like the Flatsome’s accordion element? I would like to have a menu item when clicked open its submenu, and make all the other items close. Hope I explained well

We see that your support period is active. Could you submit a support ticket here?

Please make sure to open separate tickets for different issues. Otherwise, the response from our Help Desk may take longer than 2 business days.

Hi, is it possible to have two different menus? I have an e-commerce of men’s and women’s clothing. I would like to have a specific menu for the men’s page and one for the women’s page. The specific menu should follow the user’s navigation to the product page. Do you think it is possible? Thanks Paul

You can use a 3rd party plugin like below to set different menus on different pages.
