I like this theme and think it could be great for an upcoming project. Is there a plugin avail that I can use with this theme to offer paid article submission?
hello, i am very much interested to buy this product. does this work like digg.com. if not is there any other script that is similar to digg.com.
Hi Alan,
Thanks for your interest!
The options of the theme can be seen in the demo / item description, if it works like digg.com the answer will be Yes and No.
As you can see from the demo, submissions automatically create a post in “pending” status so that administrators can review the item before it appears on the site. An email notice is sent to the admin each time a form is successfully submitted. All Articles submitted will be in Pending, if you choose so, and every submission will be approved or rejected from WordPress Dashboard.
Submit post from frontend as a not logged in user or as a logged in user = http://pasteboard.co/1AFDMenC.png so in order to submit something you’ll need to create an account if you choose so.
Lot of nice and handy features are already included. You can take our theme as a good base and build on top of that to create your own unique portal.

hello, just say if someone inserts his sites url in the author url and submits the article. so upon clicking the article will it open in the same site or will it open on another site which author has included.
Hi There,
The link / author name from the submission form will not be displayed in the site, that information is mostly for the stuff of the site. The submission form is mostly for anonymous users that wants to share a story, etc. The article will open on the same site.

Hi - like this theme a lot (and it performed way better than others on on the gtmetrix speed test). One issue I’m seeing is the registration/login on mobile doesn’t always show up (both iOS chrome and iOS safari) - the page gets grayed out and the login popup sometimes goes off screen. Is there a plan to fix this? thanks!
Hi There,
Monday morning here and thanks for your interest!
I’m using a plugin for login / register purpose, because of the infinite scroll, the login modal will try to be displayed in the middle, that’s why that issue. You can hide the login / register in smaller devices or using the default pagination or you can disable the modal and the login / register will be open in a new page or you can use a different plugin for that purpose, up to you.
I really appreciate the support, so thank you! If you like my work, don’t hesitate to follow me: http://themeforest.net/user/An-Themes/follow for more Blog / Magazine Themes!

Very nice indeed. One thing what bugs me, is that when I choose between categories (like soccer to vimeo etc), it loads the whole page. Are you planning to make the content fully ajaxified in the near future?
Also I’m looking for a theme that support front end publishing for events, but there isn’t any attractive as this available.
Hi There,
Thanks for your interest!
At the moment, there are not plans but if will be a common request from the customers that already purchased my theme, maybe I will add it, thank you.
Cheers
How do I open a support ticket? I have sent a ‘message to author’ in the support area, but I havent received any email confirmation etc. Is this the correct way to request support? Newly purchased…cant get the demos loaded correctly. Thanks!
Hi There,
Thanks for purchasing my theme!
Yes, that’s the correct way, as is mentioned here.
I’ve replied to your 1st ticket support 9 hours ago and to the 2nd one that you’ve sent it 1h ago, too, so please check your email, thank you.
Also, Envato Market doesn’t have the option to send email confirmation if the author choose to provide support via email, as is mentioned in the link.
Cheers
hello glad to find this theme. but looking at your portfolio i found out that almost every theme that you have is having somewhat the same features. correct me if i am wrong. i wish to start a website where i will encourage people to write and share blog posts on various topics like say food, health, tech etc. So which theme should i opt for? and which one has the most features, is light weight and you plan to update for a longer period? thank you
Hi There,
Thanks for your interest!
To answer your question regarding the same options, if you take a look at all my themes (Item description > Theme Updates) you’ll see that the options that you see in my themes are added after certain time, because my old customers want the same options / features from my latest themes. So, I always add some of them as an update = happy customers and more sales.
I’m always updating my themes to work with the latest version of the WordPress. Unfortunately you’ll need to make this choose by yourself, you’ll need to choose the one that better fits your needs, thank you.

Presale Question. Can we make it required for a user to sign up. We want to reward top submissions with prizes and add awards to their profile. How do we do this?
I mean required to signup before submitting
Hi There,
Thanks for your interest!
YES. That’s an option of my theme: http://pasteboard.co/1AFDMenC.png as for the prizes / awards to the profile, will require custom work or a plugin with that functionality.
I really appreciate the support, so thank you! If you like my work, don’t hesitate to follow me: http://themeforest.net/user/An-Themes/follow for more Blog / Magazine Themes!

hello im wp beginner. is it possible to adapt any question/answer plugin/system to this template?
Hi There,
Thanks for reaching out! Envato policy related to 3rd party plugins is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way, then we can not provide support or guarantee compatibility. The implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise are the customers responsibility. Technically speaking, since Foot Theme was developed according to development best practices, any well developed 3rd party plugin should play nicely with Foot Theme, however due to the virtually limitless nature of things that can and often times do go wrong with software, we can’t support something that we have not first developed or integrated into the theme.

I’m looking for stackoverflow, quora like Q/A system and also magazine web site infrastructure.
A few of my friends told me about an-themes. and i looked your works. Design seems so good. And i love some features especially Google Snippets
I used joomla before. But this time im planning to use wordpress because of speed related issues. But im really confused..
Hi There,
Unfortunately a “stack overflow” or a “Q/A system” can’t be accomplished without custom work or some plugins. The theme has the options that can be seen in the demos / item description, anything else will require custom work or the installation of plugins that have the options you are looking for.
Cheers
is it possible to disable the front end submission from the theme that only the site owner could post an article only
Yes, that’s possible, thank you.
Cheers
hi my friend i have seen some of the styles your theme got and i would appreciate if you could add a style like ehow.com for your theme which i am sure it would be great and i and some view other customers may love it
I will consider to add it into the future if there will be more requests from customers that purchased my theme.
Cheers
hi i wanted to create a website like www.wikihow.com or www.ehow.com so is it possible to make people post article like www.wikihow.com or www.ehow.com and work like www.wikihow.com or www.ehow.com or could you please create a theme or template that works like www.wikihow.com or www.ehow.com which would be great and i would love it to buy it if it is possible to get a site www.wikihow.com or www.ehow.com from your theme
Hi There,
Sorry, but, you don’t need to past five times the same url, because it looks like spam and be so kind and don’t hide the url next time, otherwise your comment will be marked as spam.
Unfortunately, our theme is quite different, but you can take our theme as a good base and build on top of that to create your own unique portal.
Cheers
why don’t you build a layout like ehow and wikihow for the theme or it is drag and drop and i could but any layout from it without touching a code
and why don’t you build the theme advert layout like facebook where the visitor who visit the site won’t able to difference the advert and the posts
Thanks for editing your comment. Unfortunately, for the moment, there are no plans to create a theme like that.
If you have any further questions related to my theme, let me know.
Cheers

hi could try to make theme that someone would like a post and rate it when he is logged in in the theme and he would follow post like ehow.com
Sorry we don’t plan to add this feature. Lot of nice and handy features are already included. You can take our theme as a good base and build on top of that to create your own unique portal.

Hello there,
i appreciate how fast you respond to questions regarding your theme. awesome dedication.
in referring to the pinterest style theme, i have a few questions.
1. one the home page, left column features a ‘top articles’, ‘advertisments’, and posts by tags. can these features be disabled?
2. next step, i have clicked on the first submission (the blue sky) with the title ‘galaxy merger caught in stunning hubble telescope. the right column now has the advertisements, random reviews, and at the bottom, related articles, comments. can they also be disabled if chosen?
3. would the foot theme be able to work with the tickera plugin (https://tickera.com/) ?
i’m planning to use your theme as a platform of a ‘pinterest’ + daily deals page … that’s why i am using the tickera plugin, to deliver vouchers to registered users. or similarly, woocommerce pdf vouchers. Minus the payment gateway.
do you think the foot theme would be able to achieve that goal? i am very appreciative of your dedication towards your users, and i hope you can give me some advise here as well.
thank you.
Hello again,
i discovered when i clicked the second content, which is the “Hulu Answers Our Dreams of a ‘7th Heaven’ Revival” post, the format for the article is slightly different, with the additional button of ‘more info’ and ‘purchase’ available.
i find that this would be the ideal setting for what i plan to achieve. perhaps with the ‘purchase’ button it can be done to ‘get voucher’ and directs the user to a voucher generated widget,(perhaps voucherpress/ woocommerce pdf vouchers?)
i’m sorry to be bombarding you with so many questions. i hope that you can see that i’m really interested, and not just taking your time for granted.
thank you.
Hi There,
Monday morning here and thanks for your interest and nice words, I appreciate, thank you!
- Yes. Of Course, via Theme Options.
- At the right is placed a “sidebar” were you can drag and drop any widget you want. The theme doesn’t have a full width article option. As for the Related articles / Categories / tag, for the moment isn’t an option of the theme, but you can hide them with css via Theme Options > Style Settings > Custom CSS. You can disable the comments for any article you want, that’s a default WordPress function.
- Envato policy related to 3rd party plugins is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way, then authors can not provide support or guarantee compatibility.
- Yes. When you add an article or your edit one, via “Except” you’ll see this: http://pasteboard.co/25csKyNO.png you can add as many buttons you wish.
Mostly, all my themes has an option to add buttons, take a look at my portfolio: http://themeforest.net/user/an-themes/portfolio

Thank you for your very quick reply. do you do customisation work as i do have specific things that i need for my site, and i can’t write code. would like to be able to work with you, but as always, i have a limited budget to work with. do let me know if you do customisation, and what are your rates like.
i wish you the best in your coming endeavours.
Unfortunately I’m not available for custom work, but you can always find someone via envato studio. Thank you.

Hello,
We are interested in the “style2” template (from this collection: http://themeforest.net/item/foot-grid-frontend-submission-content-sharing/full_screen_preview/11063061) but not in a HTML type, we need it for drupal use (as an installable template/theme).
Could you possible convert it to a drupal one? And if so, how much time do you need and what will the final cost be?
For further details contact us @ dev@trustanduse.com
Hi There,
Thanks for your interest!
As you can see from the item description, Foot is a WordPress theme not an HTML template. Unfortunately there are no plans to convert Foot to others CMS.

Another important thing, if you purchased my theme, go to your Download Page click the “Download” button and select “All Files & Documentation”, and please read the Documentation for a properly configuration of the theme, demo content, plugins, etc.

Just bought the theme. awesome theme! But pls where can i find the shortcodes i need to style my homepage? The documentation wasnt really useful for me.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing my theme and for your nice words!
The Documentation is very useful in order to reproduce everything you see in the demo, live search / featured articles, different homepages examples, etc. Without it, will be quite difficult to make a properly configuration of any WordPress theme.
If you read carefully the Documentation, you’ll see that the homepage is not created with shortcodes, also the shortcodes are enabled in the WordPress editor after you install the plugins that comes with the theme, this is also perfectly explained in the Documentation. So, in order words, the Documentation is very useful, you just need to read it.
If you still haven’t figured out something about the theme or you have a concern, please note that support is offered only via Foot Support, so please submit a ticket and I’ll be glad to help you.

Is it possible in mobile version of front end submit for the author to insert multiple pictures in the article? Can the author control where the pictures are placed throughout the text using frontend submit?
Hi There,
Thanks for your interest!
If the user is anonymous, not logged in, only the featured image can be uploaded as per demo. But if the user is logged in, the user will see this: http://pasteboard.co/1e6Nfgf5.png and will be able to add unlimited images, as per a normal article. You as an administrator, you’ll be able to change any article added by your users, images, text, categories, tags, etc.
If you need anything else, let me know,

Hello I wanted to ask.
Can this theme be used in a website like wittyfeed.com?
Then does the package come with PSD FILES?
Regards
And also does the theme support adding posting videos?
Hi There,
Thanks for your interest!
A simple answer will be Yes. The theme, as you can see from the demo, has a submission form, to let anonymous / logged users to submit articles.
Submissions automatically create a post in “pending” you can select “Publish / Pending or DrafT” status so that administrators can review the item before it appears on the site. All Articles submitted will be in Pending, if you choose so, and every submission will be approved or rejected from WordPress Dashboard.
The theme doesn’t comes with psd files. And Yes, the theme support videos as you can see from the demo.
Cheers
Thanks for your reply. Now is it possible to add a number of views plugin for a post?
Regards
You are welcome to add/install any plugins you wish. Add the ones that better fits your needs.
Cheers

Hi There,
Thanks for your interest and nice words!
If the user is anonymous, not logged in, only the featured image can be upload. But if the user is logged in, the user will see this: http://pasteboard.co/1e6Nfgf5.png

- You can create your own categories / edit them / delete them, etc. Is a WordPress default function.
- You can use some buttons as you can see from the demo.
- All plugins are option and every plugin add a different option. The list of the plugins will be added to the item description.
- You get everything you see in my demos.
- All Articles submitted will be in Pending, if you choose so, and every submission will be approved or rejected from WordPress Dashboard. As you can see from the demo: http://anthemes.com/themes/foot/style1/submit/
- General Settings, Header Settings, Blog Settings, Style Settings.
- You’ll need to use a plugin for user avatar. By default the avatar will be taken from gravatar, that’s a default WordPress functions.
- http://pasteboard.co/1g4UUqzn.png as you can see, is a “Blog / Magazine Theme” and obviously what you see in the demo is the blog page, please take a look at the demos, thank you.
