New updates looks very nice indeed. I am testing very thoroughly on several computers/laptops running different browsers. I know you are not claiming to be compatible with ie8, but I am seeing many issues in ie9. I recommend you a dedicated box for ie9 testing to work out the bugs, especially with meny and responsiveness when adjusting browser size.
I also recommend that the majority of your time spent with next updates deal with monetizing (membership and custom field related). The theme design and functionality is amazing. So using this to make money is now what is important. I would be very happy to assist with any testing needed or if you want input on this issue.

We test with IE9. I believe some animations and a few parts not working as other browsers. we will see what we can do more. but there is no issue for responsive in ie9. as you may know responsive is mostly for mobiles or tablets. anyway thank you for your testing and time.

1. We just made it work with them and successfully imported for our 2 clients. we may need to test little more. it should be fine.
2. We also got the final confirmation from wpml team. they will contact us very soon and we just need to create a wpml config file. it should not be too long.

Could you please have a look at this post and video tutorial? http://javothemes.com/forum/knowledgebase/video-how-to-import-demo-data-for-v2-0/You just need to chose “demo4”. if your import is not completed, please download our theme again or replace this file ( http://javothemes.com/forum/knowledgebase/if-your-demo-is-not-imported-fully-please-replace-this-file/ ) we found some of them had a problem with import demo depends on download environment. this one works fine.

Why do I have to buy a license “WPBakery Visual Composer” if it is included in your theme?
Same for “Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer” and “Brainstorm Force”?

We added 15k items on maps and tested. it works very well. we believe it should be fine.
the import is just testing and we have done 2 clients imports and worked fine. however we just want to make sure if it works well and test little more. we were really busy for 2.0 update. we will add a notice when it’s ready. I also think it should be ok.

I am interested in buying your “Javo Directory Wordpress Theme”. I have posted a question here a few months ago regarding the advanced search module. I scrolled through the comments and it seems that a lot of people are willing to add such feature to your awesome theme. In reply to my comment/suggestion you said that you will work it out in the future.
I noticed that you already implemented custom fields for ads, however there is no option to sort/refine search results in each category/sub-category to create more specific search results.
Are you working on an advanced search module that will allow website admin to create category-specific search modules for specific categories, so that visitors can easily refine their search results within specific categories based on the custom fields assigned to these categories? Yelp directory has similar functionality.
I think that it’s the only important feature that Javo Directory currently lacks of. An advanced search engine allows visitors to refine search results within each category by information provided by logged-in users during the process of business listing submission. Admin creates custom fields for each category, that need to be filled by businesses owners during the process of listing submission. Advanced search module allows visitors to refine search results within each category, based on the custom fields pre-set by admin and completed by businesses owners during the process of listing submission.

Since v2.0, we have an option to refresh fields. this is for advanced custom search in the future. it’s only for old data which already using. (for current buyers). we will work on this feature in the future. however it’s not simple to create for everybody. as you may know, everybody has different options and styles. we need to consider of them and take time. anyway thank you for your suggestion.

I am sorry I forgot you are very new. Before 1.3 and 2.0, it was not possible to add any content on item list template. so.. it was.. Map + listings. like this page ( http://javothemes.com/directory/demo1/hotel-with-map/ )
But now, you can add your own content and you can place them before listing or after listing. so better than before. we have not made any demos for it. it’s scheduled on Monday to have some demos with item listing page.
Item listing has an option to filter.. a category and a location.. so you can list… “coffee shops” (a category) in “New York” (a location).

Hello, I just created a listing on the new demo site: http://javothemes.com/directory/demo1/item/test-gallery-baltimore/ and gave it a real location near my home. Yet it does not show up on any of the maps. Should it not show up on the map, regardless of if a “location” is selected from the listing form?
I guess it took a few minutes to propagate. It is now showing on the map.

We have new update and there is a generator to refresh item fields. This is for custom field and custom search form in the future. We were considering a lot of “price” filed as a custom field or regular field. because the price needs to show on the list and shortcodes. we will talk about this price field soon and see what we can do.
All of fields are post-meta now. so it should be fine to use import plugins if they support custom fields. we successfully made 2 sites import for our clients. we will test more soon.

1. Yes we have a plan to add buddypress in the future. it may work at this moment however there is no extra design added.
2. We have new version v2.0 and there is field refresh option. this is for our custom search form in the future. it may take time to be completed but it will be added. I am not sure if there will be options for select categories to show search form. we will see what we can do.
3. it’s not yet. we will have new profile pages in near future with new design
4. Time limited means duration of posting items? yes there is an option to create membership level with pmp plugin and you can setup the duration of posting days.
