We’ve started experiencing a weird glitch. When we are adding items or pages or posts now to the menu we get this message “The given object ID is not that of a menu item” in red and unfortunately it has KILLED / removed half of our CUSTOM MENU. We tried to redo twice. Restoring hosting account to yesterday and then will try a Database REPAIR via PHPmyadmin, but ever see this before? I need to make sure and rule out any errors in theme. Anyone have a ticket with this? Really grateful for your help!!!!!

I believe that this is not from our theme. we don’t have any codes for handling menu object ids. there is no menu object id issues so far. our support team will assist you. I hope it solves soon.

Does this update have Custom Tab? I know so so many people have asked for it. Just wanting to know if it is and if not when it will be added?
Also is your theme compatible with woocommerce multi vendor plugin?

it’s a long time you have not updated the theme.
I’m waiting to see if you have implemented what i asked in the past:
1) Have you improved search? In terms of usability i find it’s not very logic to search for something on Home page and then to be redirected to a page for changing distance from my location.
2) Have you improved widgets in sidebar, adding more information than a simple picture with a zoom effect on it.
As posted previuosly i find useless to have just an image with no other information. Again the example i sent you 20 days ago.

Can i create a home page that features latest blog posts instead of listings but still have the map at the top.. Can i style the home page anyway i want, with blog posts, ads , welcome text etc…
Also, when i add a listing do i HAVE to put it on the map. id like some of my listings to not be on the map?

There is shortcodes to put blog posts. you can place them where you want. there will be a new shortcode on this coming update. so you can put them with some others such as ads, welcome texts..
There are a few people who want to have our theme without maps. we are considering to have an option for it. at this moment, it’s not simple to do. you need to remove many places (codes or add css to remove)
The locations are not matter. you can make wherever you need. there are location taxonomies to create your locations. or you can also use google auto complete suggestion for locations.

Hello, I love your theme and I’m considering to buy it.
Some questions:
I plan to create an international directory site with where I will have one “real” category, let’s say clubs, so no real need to specify it as category. Is it possible to remove “category” from search bar?
How many levels have locations? Continent/Country/Region/City ? In terms of locations the drop down box always contains all locations? (For a worldwilde directory is a nasty list) Can we select wich location levels? How does it work?
For each item I need to add many customized field types, including prices for different days and different type of customers. No problem with that?
Can you create events with associating to an item? Can you list events independently (as categorie for instance)?
Even though this would be secondary, later on, I’d like to add a forum. I think that’d be easy, but the users will the same users for directory? (I’d like to).
Buddy press integration is possible?

On maps and some shortcodes, there are options to show / hide category and locations. I believe it’s possible.
The location taxonomies are same as wordpress category. you can create levels. we also have google location suggestion feature. your users can just type the address or zip codes.
I am not sure how much / many custom fields you need to create. however we have custom fields and you can create them. we have input, textarea, check, dropdown fields.
Events are related (connected) with items (item post id). so you need items first and add events. we will work on events parts in the future.
I am not sure what you mean. do you mean bbpress? then the users are same as listers or visitors.
We’d love to add buddypress. I believe that it’s still working but we didn’t put any design codes.

Another pre-sale question. Can custom fields be added to the listing form which are dependent on the price of the listing purchsed? So if you purchased a premium listing, it would give you access to certain premium fields. Also, can you do the same thing for categories – allow users to check more than one category only if they purchase a premium listing? If they choose a free listing, only allow them to check one category. Is that possible?

There are custom fields and you can check multi categories. however it’s little advanced than what we have. we don’t have these options yet. we will work on more payment options in the future. the new version has drag ordering added. so you can make orders of custom fields.

Thanks for your reply, Rob. So to follow up, since you cannot base the custom fields on the payment option, would I be able to create different submission forms with different combinations of fields for each membership level? Or is only one submission form available?
I think having the ability to have different custom fields for different listing levels is a very key feature that needs to be added. It gives us the flexibility to enhance our listing options to our customers, while giving us the ability to earn more income. Example would be: Free listing with basic info such as address, description, one image. Premium listing: everything from free + social media links, email, phone, up to five images, etc.
