I see… do you know if this can be achieved via 3rd party plugins? KB articles and categories are regular WP categories and posts/ pages? Meaning any plugin which can restrict access to certain WP categories/ posts will work?

It most likely could be achieved via a 3rd party plugin but unfortunately can’t give any recommendations as I haven’t tested any recently.

Knowledge Base articles in KnowHow are regular posts and use standard WordPress categories.

1. Categories are hierarchical. There is no limit on depth, but you may wish to consider navigation and structure of your knowledge base.

2. The folder icon represents the categories. As mentioned above, these follow standard hierarchical behavior.

3. Images can be used in articles.

Sorry for confusing you. I would like to have an indexing function in my post/article. Whereby, first main category will be known as 01, first sub category 01, first article 01. So whenever the article shows this 010101, it indicates the first article of the first sub category in the first main category.

Chris, the issue isn’t with your theme, but with a plugin we’re using. Sorry for the comment. Your theme is awesome and rock solid!

This theme doesn’t include a drag and drop plugin to create pages/posts.

There are no additional user management/roles/permissions features on top of the standard WordPress functionality.
