Hello, thank you for your awesome theme! Could you please email me how to configure the main page as the demo?
Hi,

Regarding the configuration of the front page: Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). I can send you the HTML contents with instructions how to set them up like on the demo site.
Is there a pdf version document? On frontpage, can we move the menu to the right side of the screen? Is this compatible with latest moodle 3.01?
Thanks
the documentation is only available as a HTML version – you can use the link at the theme’ item page:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html
The theme is compatible with the latest Moodle version and you can also place the Moodle navigation block to the right side of the screen.
Just bought the theme but cannot find any way to move the menu to the right side in the configuration. Could you help?
Thanks

Highly recommend this seller. Always reply my questions quickly. Very patient. No matter how silly my question is, always reply in detail so I can follow.
Thanks a lot
Thank you for your kind words! I am happy that you are enjoying Theme Lambda. And you know:
There’s no such thing as a silly question but only silly answers…

Hi, I just replied to your email.
Can I use both news and available courses? I like front page looks like in Live Preview and I want just add news and list of available courses, can I?
Yes, you can add both ‘site news’ and ‘available courses’ to the front page.
Is there any possibility to add new on front page?
*news
Hi,
yes, that’s possible! You can use the Moodle front page settings to display site news or a list of available courses.
Hi , I represent a training company and we are interested in your theme , which we would like to give us some access creedenciales to see a course inside as it is currently not accessible.
Thank you.
Hi,
at Theme Lambda’s demo site, you don’t have to use any login credentials like for some of the other Moodle themes, all courses are open for guest access. With the guest access, you get exactly the same view for a course as with a student role. The only difference is that you’re not allowed to participate in any activities within a course.

The theme follows the Moodle standards and so of course all admin settings, activity modules, ... will work in the way you are used to.

I was hoping by this time to have Bootstrap 3.x support sigh
Any plans for this?
BS 3.x grid system is way much better for any customization
while you can use some BS 3 classes and components which are still the same compared to BS 2.3, the theme is not compatible with BS 3 as stated on the item page. Many things like the grid system have fundamentally changed and can not be applied to the theme yet.
The reason for this is that the Moodle bootstrapbase is still based on bootstrap 2.3. Although a base theme for bootstrap 3 is already available, it is not included in the Moodle core download files. So I’m going to stick with the existing ‘official’ bootstrapbase theme. With that, it depends on the Moodle community if/when an update to BS 3 will be ready. At least they already have a tracker for this issue at moodle.org:
https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-50241
How do I get my homepage to look like the demo? Also, how do I add additional pages link them to the top menus?
Hi,
I just sent you an email regarding your questions.
Got it. Looking at it now. Thanks a lot.
How do I make the carousel line up with the “Explore Lambda Theme” block as it appears on the demo.
Hi,
I just replied to your email.
How do I make the language menu (drop down menu) appear in the theme?
I have set the “Display language menu” to yes under Site administration>Language>Language settings.
I appreciate any help you can give.
Hi,
I just sent you an email regarding your issue.
will this work with the new moodle 3.0?
Hi,
yes – the theme is already compatible with Moodle 3.0.
ok thanks I have never installed a theme before but i am assuming i just upload into a them foder and active like a wordpress theme correct? Or do u provide setup instructions
you can also upload the theme at the Moodle site administration (“backend”). The installation process is quite simple, you can also find a description in the theme’s documentation:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/installing.html
Can I put full bootstrap on this?
Hi,
Theme Lambda uses the bootstrapbase parent theme for Moodle, so you can make use of the bootsrap classes and components.
When I try and use div class=”col-md-2”..etc in a question this is not the case.
Examples and code snippets for the correct version can be found here:
http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/scaffolding.html#fluidGridSystem
Oh yes I see. Thank you. Would it be possible to update to BS 3?
With that, it depends on the Moodle community if/when an update to BS 3 will be ready. At least they already have a tracker for this issue at moodle.org:
https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-50241
Thank you for the support.
Hi I like your theme, Can you assist to make it English/French ?
Thanks, great to hear that you like the theme.
Moodle offers several options to create a site with multilanguage support so that you can show your contents in english/french. Just contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ), I can help you with the setup.
Hello im new to moodle, I’m not able to recreate the home page as in your demo site. Can you please help me with this?
Thank you
Hi,

Hi Eve
Great update! Good to see the ‘My Courses’ menu is now in. However, would it be possible to show full Course name rather than the Short name? I fear that the Short Name will mean nothing to our students.
Also, if you could too send me the css settings to hide the header login panel, that would be great. We edited PHP to do this; CSS is much cleaner.
Thanks – Dan
Hi,
thank you for your kind words! I thought that the full course name might be too long for the dropdown menu, so I’ve chosen to use the short name. But of course it’s possible to change this. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). I can guide you through the necessary modifications and of course I can also send you the custom css for the header.
Hello, Is there a way to hide the login (username and password) fields in the top right (header) of the theme?.
Hi,
yes, that’s possible by applying some custom css rules to the theme settings. I have just sent you an email with detailed descriptions.
Thanks a lot for the help.
I see that someone else has asked the same question that I have “Can you explain how to update the theme without affecting any current settings?” but I cannot see an answer …. Looking forward to hearing from you. Great theme and support, by the way. Thank you.
Hi,
no problem: You can safely upload the update. All settings that have been made are stored in the Moodle database, so none of these settings will get lost.
But please note: If you have edited the php files or the css files of the theme, then you should make a backup of these files.
A detailed instruction for the upload can be found in the theme’s documentation: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/updates.html
