Hello! Is it possible to change authorization block, which appears on all pages: http://my.jetscreenshot.com/8203/20151107-skgn-19kb.jpg to standard Moodle variant with text: “You are not logged in. (Login)” Like on most moodle sites, for example: moodle.net moodle.org saneducation.org.au/ecommunity moodle.ccad.ac.uk and other?

Hi,
I just replied to your email.

hi is there any way to send email notification to the students for course enrollment any plugin

Hi,
as far as I know, Moodle doesn’t have an option to send an email notification after the (manual) enrolment. But you can use the “News forum” in your new Moodle course. This forum is automatically created for each course. By default, it is placed in the top of the center section and only teachers and administrators may add posts. The default settings force every enrolled person to be subscribed to the News forum and – as with any forum – emails can be sent to subscribed members.
So if you post a “Welcome to the course…” message there, each enroled student will get a notification.

Hi,

I have a few questions before buying the theme. I already bought the Genesis theme but am extremely disappointed with their support. My concerns are:
  • How much is your response time when a ticket is raised?
  • The genesis theme is very slow and when I checked for performance on gtmetrix, I see suggestions like “Defer JS Parsing”, “Inline Small CSS”, “minify css and HTML” etc which are all related to the theme. My page load time is 15.9 sec, though I am using very few images(all optimized) and I have only 1 course right now and 2 users (still in dev phase). I would like to know if these issues have been addressed in your theme.
  • How much customization is possible in the theme when it comes to using custom colors, fonts, adding menus etc?
  • Is there a way to remove the calendar from footer and put institute hours there?
  • Can we put a placeholder for fax no. along with contact details?
  • I see that the slideshow has a boxed background image. Is there a way to remove that?
  • How and where will the login be shown if I have guest login and self-registration enabled? Can you send me a screenshot of the same?
  • Looking forward your reply. Thanks

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle. Regarding your questions:
  • I always try to answer each request within a couple of hours. The response time can vary depending on the volume of inquiries and at which time I recieve them.
  • The theme is also used at “my” school and we never experienced any performance issues – and we have more than 5000 registered users and over 500 courses.
  • The theme is highly customizable, you can take a look at the online documentation:
    http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html
  • Yes, the theme offers the possibility to move your Moodle blocks to footer positions. So you can also place a custom HTML block to the footer with your institute hours.
  • Yes, that’s possible:
    http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/options_social.html
You can use some kind of “Contact us” block or you can place the contact info (with some minor modifications also for the fax no.) at the top of the header/bottom of the footer.
  • I’m not quite sure what you mean with the boxed image, but you can apply custom css rules to the theme settings if you need any modifications for the slider – I can also help you with that.
  • At the login container, just leave the input fields for username and password empty and hit the green submit button. Now you’re at the standard Moodle login page where you can use the self-registration. btw: The upcoming update will offer to use a tabbed login container for a “login” and a “create account” view.

Thanks for the quick response. Can you send me link to your school’s moodle portal? Also, when is the next update expected?

Just purchased the theme. I noticed there is no Exit Activity link at the top of the page when viewing a SCORM package. Is there a way to enable this?

Hi,
I just sent you an email regarding your request.

Hi, in a few days he will be released Moodle 3, the theme is compatible?

Hi,
yes, the release date for Moodle 3.0 is 9th November 2015. Of course the theme will also be compatible to this Moodle version.

hello I’m Interested in Lambda. but I need to kwown if two things that are crucial for my site are supported on this theme:

1. Can I show login instructions(including youtube embedded video) aside the login block, as in the default moodle login page? If so, is it a code-based solution or something that I can change on theme options?

2. The theme supports HTML blocks on the Home page ? I want my home page to show Five ‘Open for all’ Featured Courses(in a category) + the Courses the Profile is Enrolled (in a different Cattegory) + 1 or 2 HTML Boxes. Is It possible?

I’m willing to buy as soon as possible if this two things are confirmed. Thanks!

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle!
1) The theme displays a login form at the top of the header, so you won’t need to go to the standard Moodle login page with the instruction text. You can place a video (even responsive!) directly to the frontpage.
See also:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/adding_content_video.html
2) Yes – you can place custom HTML to your frontpage. The theme also offers to show a carousel slider at the frontpage, so it’s also possible to use this feature to display and promote some of your featured courses.
Originally, the Moodle “Dashboard” is the default home page for your users after a login. Here, they are provided with links to their courses and activities within them. But of course you can also add the navigation block to the frontpage to show the courses a user is enrolled in.

Please kindly reply. I’m not getting any reply from you in order to proceed on buying the template

Thank you so so much I will buy it and I will contact you again very soon via the support tab. Thank you!!!!

hi i need to add more than 5 slides on front page how can i do this i already send you the email.

Hi,
I’ve just send you an email regarding your request.

Got some pre-purchase question related to the signup process. How does it exactly work? I got Moodle right now. If i buy this theme, do my users have to signup externally on moodle site? Or does it work like this: 1. Signup in wordpress for course. Wordpress database user created 2. Automatic registered for moodle. Means user created automatic in Moodle database

If so, then am i right to assume: 3. Users never gets to see external site of moodle 4. Users stays on our website

Thanks in advance.
