Hello, how can configure the home page as the demo?

Hi,
I’ve just sent you an email regarding your request.

Yes, Thanks!

You’re welcome!

hi, I just got the theme but how to make Slider and Caurosil to work in two languages? i.e different images and caption texts for each language

Hi,
it is possible to change the social media icons by adding some custom css rules to the theme settings. Please contact me again via the support tab http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support – this way I can send you the necessary modifications. We can also discuss some alternative ways to organize your contents for different languages.

hi,

please guide me how to achieve that. thanks

OK,
but please use the support tab to contact me again. You can also use the following link:
http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support
You will find a contact form there. This way, I can reply via email and send you the files for the modifications in the attachment.

I wonder if I can get a logo on course categories? there is no logo in the course categories here: http://lms.lern.link/enrol/index.php?id=45

Hi,
the FontAwesome icons are missing on your site – they are also styling the course categories. In the theme’s documentation you can find a troubleshooting sections for the icon font:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/font_awesome.html#troubleshooting
Additionally, you can also add a description to your course categories:
https://docs.moodle.org/29/en/Course_categories

I added CSS .helplink a { color: #a8a8a8 !important; } to the General Custom CSS , theme developer mode – but no luck. Please give me an advice how to change the color of the help link.

Hi,
please send me the url to your site with the login credentials for a temporary admin access (please use the support tab http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support to submit the login credentials). I will check your Custom CSS settings.

Hi. We really like this template, and overall it works great. We have just a couple items we need help with. We have installed the new Turn-it-In Plugin 2 for testing. The problem is that the popup box for the assignment submission in the Lambda template has a dark background, and so the text cannot be viewed. We tried custom CSS to change the text color ( .mform label { color: #03711b} ) but that changed the text color on all forms in Moodle, so did not work, as other forms have white backgrounds. Do you know the code change just for that Turn-it-in popup box? Also, the boxes on some forms extend far to the right, under the ‘blocks’ on the right side column, and then cannot be viewed, We see this in quite a few settings pages, such as when we are doing outcomes, etc. Is there a way to fix that? I have screenshots if you need them. We only see these issues in Lambda, we do not see it in Essential, Overlay, or other templates we have. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
all modal popup forms in Theme Lambda have a white or light grey background color – perhaps the dark background is specific for the plugin you have installed.
To be able to help you in this matter, please send me the url to your site with the login credentials for a temporary admin access (please use the support tab http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support to submit the login credentials). This way, I can also verify why some of your forms extend under the blocks.

Hi. We are going to update the Lambda template to the latest version, but had made some manual changes to the files before, and now we have lost the directions you gave us for doing so. Can you email me again to let me know how to do the following in your template:

1. How to enable dock block feature 2. How to enable the ‘grade book freeze pane’ feature

Thanks! Michelle

Hi,
I’ve just sent you an email regarding your request.

Just want to found out before purchase does Moodle allow the direct editing of HTML files ? Example certain aspects id like to remove from the index (example) and replace with custom objects can this be done ?

Hi,
the theme elements you can see at the frontpage of the demo site were added by using the Moodle resource “label”.
So you can place these resources anywhere you want with any content you’d like to show.
You can also take a look at the online documentation to see some variations of the components the theme offers:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html

Thank you, purchased.

Many thanks! :)

I have a probem with the font “Font Awesome” in the theme. In Internet Explorer, everything is ok. But how to fix problems with font awsome in Chrome? On my website, graphic signs disappeared.

I checked your demo site and everything is ok. I will send you url to my demo site installation. I suppose the problem is on my side (server or installation).

Dear Eva_Pi. I reinstalled Moodle, and everything works perfectly. I am very happy with the purchase of this template. The online help is also quick and effective. I highly recommend this template to all who want to give a nice appearance of the educational website.

Thank you! Great to hear you are happy with the theme and the support. :)

Hello,

Before buying the theme, could you confirm :

1 – it’s a FULL responsive theme ? 2 – it’s FULL adapted for the 2.9 version. 3 – what’s happened with the next version 3.0 in few weeks ? 4 – What’s happened after 6 month (oy 1 year) about the support ? 5 – Can I update the theme without add support option ? Life update ?

Thanks Regards Ludovic

Hi,
you can test the responsive behaviour of the theme: You should also try and test some of the subpages like the courses (http://lambda.redpithemes.com/course/view.php?id=4 ) or the shortcodes for the theme elements (http://lambda.redpithemes.com/course/view.php?id=10&section=1 ). To see the differences at a glance you can also you a service like “Am I responsive?” (http://ami.responsivedesign.is/ ). You may notice that the slideshow is set to a fixed height of 375px. This is necessary because of the headings and captions, which could otherwise not be displayed within the images if they get to small in mobile view. So it adapts the images to your screen resolution and the above mentioned height of 375px – with that, the images may get cropped, but the slider will work with any image size. It is possible to modify these settings for the slider, but such modifications are only recommended if you do not use any captions and headings with the images in the slider.
The theme is compatible with Moodle 2.9, but since you are asking about a full compatibility: Is there any feature you have in mind in particular? The Moodle 3.0 release date is the 9th November 2015. I will definitely keep the theme compatible.
You may have noticed that the item support policy for themeforest has changed. I am only the author of the theme – I don’t make the rules for the marketplace. But even with the new item support policy you will still get any updates that will be released for the theme. And I am confident that also support requests can still be handled on a basis of goodwill.

Plz i need to add content on frontpage, could you say me the steps for add carousel, blocks, ty

Hi,
please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). I can send you the HTML contents with instructions how to set them up like on the demo site.

When i change css in the style.css on the server it does work, but not in the custom css field on the site itself.

The custom css only seems to work with full width, so not with boxed theme settings!

Hi,
I have just sent you an email regarding your issue.

Hello, the custom css in the General settings are not working in my portal. (emptied all cashes, developers mode moodle, !important in the css.) tried it all, but no luck! can you help me out here?

Hi,
I have just sent you an email regarding your issue.

Hi eva_pi

I wanna ask before buying your theme.

Does your theme support to create an account for the parents and displaying to them the school data of their children, such as score of the subjects, sum of attendance, and etc ?

Because my future client wanna have such a feature to their website.

Thanks

Hi,
yes, that’s possible. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). This way I can answer you in more detail.

Hi, thanks for your reply, Oke I will contact you via support tab

Any possibility of getting a login to view course and user profile prior to purchase? Tks

What I would like is to take a look of a demo or a current installed site of your theme prior to purchase. Is it possible?

Of course, that’s no problem! Please contact me again via the support tab (http://gtheme.com/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can send you links to some sample sites (since these sites are from my customers I don’t want to make them public here…).

Thanks. I bought the Theme and I am installing now.

Hey guys, this theme is great ! Im sure you’re gonna be the number one moodle theme on themeforest if you continue to update it and give amazing support :)

Here is my issue : im trying to setup an image for a course with the .course-pano class. The issue is that it kind of zooms the image everytime and i cant get the presentation image of the course display totally.

Thx for your time ;)

Thank you! Great to hear you are happy with the theme and the support.
Regarding the .course-pano class: This class sets your image to a height of 175px and it will cover the whole width of the content area – the intended purpose is to use it as some kind of course banner. So it’s best to use an image which already has a “panoramic” size. At the demo site, the image has a dimension of 1600px x 175px.

It is also possible to apply some custom css rules to the theme to change this behaviour of the .course-pano class. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://gtheme.com/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I guide you through the necessary modifications.

Hiiii, In signup page the navigation block display in footer even I hide for the Unlogged users. Can you help me for this?

Thank you [‘}

Hi,
I have just sent you an email regarding your question.

Actually I’m talking about Lambda theme when user go for registration the navigation block display under footer right corner. I want to hide it from the unlogged users. Hope you getting it…

Thank you….[‘}

Hi,
please follow the steps below:
  1. login as an administrator
  2. turn editing on at the frontpage
  3. go to the signup page, the url for it should look like:
    www.url_to_your_moodle_site/login/signup.php
  4. edit the block settings by clicking on the cogwheel at the top of the navigation block
  5. At “Where this block appears” > “On this page” click in the dropdown for “Visible” and select “no”
This will solve your issue, the navigation block will not show up at this site – the signup is only for users who are not logged in. You don’t have to modify the permissions for certain roles.

any possibility of getting a login to view course and user profile prior to purchase

Hi,
I’ve just sent you an email regarding your question.

I purchased this theme a week ago and can highly recommend, it transforms the basic looking Moodle. Eva’s support has been exceptional.

Thank you for your purchase and for your kind words! :)

Hello Eva_Pi How do I recreate the demo on my site? Read the tutorials, but its not for everything, once I can get this right, I will modify it to satisfaction. Can I send you a link to my site. Thank you, its a really splendid theme.

For example Joomla Rocketthemes, have a special way to upload their demo, with dummy images.

Hi,
unfortunately, I can’t provide the content of the demo site with the download of the theme because Moodle doesn’t allow an import of sample data during the installation process like WordPress or Joomla.
But you can contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). This way, I can send you the HTML contents from the demo site along with instructions how to set them up.

Thank you.

Hi, I love this theme. Is there a WP version available? I want to use WP as i’ve read that WP is much better at seo, etc.. :(

Hi,
sorry, but the theme is only available for Moodle.

But perhaps you should reconsider to give Moodle a chance: Unlike WordPress, Moodle is a native Learning Management System. It provides educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised learning environments. As a highly flexible LMS, Moodle can be used to conduct courses online or to support face-to-face teaching, learning and training. It can also be extended with over 500 plugins for assignments, quizzes, grading, certification, and social and collaborative learning.
Sure – there are also plugins for WordPress which allow you to track your users progression on certain tasks and to embed TinCan or Scorm packages, but that doesn’t turn WordPress into a native LMS.

There are some Blog posts around which state that WordPress is more simple to use, but these posts are several years old. Meanwhile, Moodle has much improved compared to older versions: It has a simple (responsive) interface, drag-and-drop features, and well-documented resources along with ongoing usability improvements.
But perhaps I also have a slightly prejudiced view here… :)
