Hi,

I have purchased the theme and I want to customize styling, but any changes done in styles.css inside the theme is not affecting.

Please help me.

Hi,
I recommend using the theme settings to apply custom css rules: As an administrator, go to “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Appearance” > “Themes” > “Theme Lambda” > “General”. There, enter your modifications into the text field “Custom CSS”.
If you need any help with your modifications, please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ).

Hi. Love the theme. Was wondering if it would work on a straight HTML site. Might be adding Moodle later and haven’t determined if it will be one site or two, but if it’s two we want consistency between them. Thanks. —Bill

Hi,
thanks! But unfortunately, you won’t get the theme to work without Moodle. Perhaps I should think about releasing a HTML version… :)

Thanks for the reply. This would be a fabulous HTML template!

Can the navigation block be put on the left hand side of the site?

Hi,
yes, that’s possible. The theme offers various layout options for the blocks:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/blocks.html

We bought this theme and we need to change the default font by https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Cuprum . Is possible? What are the steps to do it? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
yes, that’s possible. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). This way I can answer you in more detail.

great theme gud luck :)

Thanks!

1) Is already available the Moodle 2.9 version?

2) What’s the user and password for login?

Hi,
the theme is already compatible with Moodle 2.9.
At the demo, all courses are open for guest access, so there is no need for a user login. If you want to know how the theme can get customized and how the theme options are set up, you can take a look at the online documentation:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html

Hi,

I have brought the theme, and I wanted to know is there a way to add 'Testimonials' given by users on the Home page?

Hi,
the theme doesn’t have a special ‘testimonial’ class, but you can use a combination of blockquotes and rounded images (http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/typography.html ) to create some kind of a testimonial area.
If you want to see an example for this, please contact me again via the support tab (http://gtheme.com/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can send you the HMTL.

Great theme and eva_pi is very helpful.I highly recommend for those who want to get

Thank you! Great to hear you are happy with the theme and the support.

Hi, great theme. Is there any way to put the carousel and some tags on frontpage while not logged and no carousel and different tags on frontpage once logged? Ty

Thanks!
Moodle provides some settings options for the frontpage items (https://docs.moodle.org/29/en/Front_page_settings#Front_page_and_Front_page_items_when_logged_in ). Here it is possible to create one setting for anyone who gets to the front page without logging in to the Moodle site, and another look for only those who have logged into the Moodle site. But these settings can only be applied to the Moodle news items, a list of courses & categories and a list of enrolled courses.
A better and more flexible solution is to use contitional activities – at the official Moodle forums you can find the “Moodle Tip: Show a different front page to guests and logged in users” (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=268238 ).
For the carousel, you’ll have to modify the theme’s core files. Please contact me via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can guide you through the necessary steps.

Love the theme. Had one issue and submitted it for support. Very quick to look at it and is working with us to update the theme. Works as expected on iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac browsers. Very easy to add custom CSS and images to give it our look and feel.

Hi,
thank you very much for your feedback! Great to hear that you like the theme… :)

Love the theme so far. Amazing work!

I noticed in other posts you sent step-by-step tutorials. Would you be able to send me the file/link?

Also, I have a few more questions: 1. How do add the My Grades link to the Sign In drop down box at the top 2. How do I get rid of the Language link on the front page? 3. Would you be able to send me your front page so I can set mine up like it? 4. Would be be able to send me how you set up your Example Course 1 page 5. Would you be able to send me how you set up your View Course List page

Thanks in advance

Pre-sale question: what about RTL (Arabic Language Pack)? Do you have an example in Arabic?

Hi,
yes, the theme supports RTL languages. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can send you links to some sample sites (these sites are from my customers, so I don’t want to make them public here…).

Hi eva_pi,

Do you plan to upgrade this theme to Bootstrap 3.X??? Bootstrap 2.3.X it’s no longer officially supported. There is anyway to easy upgrade?

Thank you!

Hi,
the bootstrap base theme in Moodle is still based on bootstrap 2.3. Although a base theme for bootstrap 3 is already available, it is not included in the official Moodle download package. So I’m going to stick with the existing bootstrapbase theme. I don’t think that it is a good idea to sell a theme which can’t be installed on a fresh Moodle installation without further plugins that a customer would have to download from moodle.org.

humm , this theme has a different personalization for the courses?

Hi
what exactly do you mean with the different personalization for the courses? Please explain what you would like to know in more detail… :)

Pre-purchase question. Is this theme widget ready?

Hi,
what widgets do you have in mind? Please note that this is a Moodle theme, it’s not compatible with WordPress.

hello, a username and password to test the theme   regards

Sorry, but I don’t plan to provide access data for an admin role. As an administrator, you could delete contents or change the theme of the demo site. Even if I backup the site, there might be visitors who watch the demo in this state. I hope for your understanding…
But every course in the demo site is open for guest access, so you can get quite a good impression of how a course will look like. If you want to know how the theme can get customized and how the theme options are set up, you can take a look at the online documentation:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html

Hi, wonder if you can provide tutorial on how to do the front page like the one in preview.

Hi,
please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ). I can send you the HTML contents with instructions how to set them up like on the demo site.

is this themes fully running on https? like css, js, etc..

Hi,
the theme allows to load optional Google Fonts. The default font and also the Font Awesome iconset are included in the theme, so if you don’t change these settings, everything should run on https.

Hi, wonder if you can provide tutorial on how to do the front page like the one in preview. and step-by-step to do it :) thx before

Hi,
I’ve just sent you an email regarding your question.

Pre-sale question: would it work for RTL (Arabic Language Pack)? Do you have an example in Arabic?

Hi,
sorry for the delay! Yes, the theme supports RTL languages. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can send you links to some sample sites (these sites are from my customers, so I don’t want to make them public here…).

Hi, We are looking forward to buy your template. Very important to us – is it possible to make the elements, include slider, on the Front Page language dependable? Thus say, that user who come from french-detected browser will see the content in french and the german-detected browser the content in german?

Hi,
you can use the multi-language content filter. This is an additional plugin which enables resources to be created in multiple languages. The plugin selects the available language for the current user: By default, Moodle detects a user’s language from their browser setting. https://docs.moodle.org/29/en/Multi-language_content_filter
