We are using Lambda theme in Moodle 3.5.14. When we change and save a student’s grade in Grades—> single view, we get an “Invalid parameter value detected” warning. But it still changes the grade. We noticed that when we change the theme, this problem disappears. How can you help us? We want to continue to use our theme as Lambda and will be upgrading to version 3.9.7 soon.

So I assume that there are any other factors like blocks which are not used at the other theme.

After update to the last version (may release) this weekend, the email notifications from the forum don’t work. Idk if the bug was fixed on all moodle versions of the theme but i’m working on 3.8.9.
All the other notifications are working and my cron file it’s working fine so, maybe it’s the same problem with the theme?

the changelog for version 1.98.20 (3. Fixed missing course email notification) refers to the display of an information/notification box. The sending of the emails is part of the Moodle core features and the theme does not have any impact on this.
To rule out that the error is caused by the theme, please proceed as follows: You could try and temporarily switch to the default Moodle core themes “Classic” or “Boost” to see if there are any differences. Please let me know if you are getting any different results with one of the Moodle core themes.

the file config.js is part of the Moodle core LMS and does not belong to the theme. It seems that something went wrong during your upgrade of the core software. You can find the necessary steps here at the Moodle docs:

It is extremely important to follow these steps carefully. I would recommend restoring a backup to undo the upgrade. A 403 error might indicate an issue with the read/write permissions at your sever. Have you perhaps copied the new files over the old files of your existing installation?

I have a question of understanding. So far I have always used Moodle with one of the included themes and did not change anything. I have only worked on the content.
Now I also wanted to do something for the eye and make the platform more interesting. For this I bought Lambda and suspected that most nice things can be achieved by clicking and typing values.
In the meantime, however, I’ve seen that it doesn’t seem to work that way. Instead, you have to enter program lines for many designs. Are these CSS scripts? I’m not familiar with them. Example:
... ...I don’t want to get tutored here. Hence my question, whether I am correct with my assumption: I take the program lines you give on your page and fill in the blanks according to the sense. No further programming is required.

The images are not responsive? I can’t find the responsive property when inserting an image.
Are you perhaps using the older TinyMCE editor? When you insert an image with the default Moodle Atto text editor, it will be automatically responsive.

it seems that you are using an outdated theme version. So fortunately, your issue should be quite easy to solve: You just have to update the theme!
To update the theme, you have to download the new version at themeforest – just login there with your existing account and click on the “Downloads” tab.
You can update the theme just like a new installation: Go to “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Plugins” > “Install plugins” and upload the corresponding installation file for your Moodle version there – that’s all!

Yes, Lambda has full support for the Arabic language and for native RTL layouts. Everything is flipped horizontally, including the main drop-down menu and blocks. You just have to choose the Arabic language at the Moodle language settings.
