Can i remove the style.css file from the Child Theme Folder and just put everything in the Additional CSS in the Customizer or it doesn’t really matter?

Hello I have a pre-purchase question: My friend wants me to build him a website for his construction business and he wants to use your theme. Since I am technically doing a website design service / customization is that something that I would not be able to cover under the regular license?
In other words if I want to create a website for somebody and use this theme do I need to have a regular or an extended license? The license would be used only once and on that website (it would not be sold and used on multiple websites or something like that).
Also with the regular license can I remove the copyright and replace it? Thanks

Hey Guys,
Not sure what is happening or if i have to start al over again, something isn’t right with displaying addresses on frontend and additional address data i added to admin via PHP Hooks in functions.php file.
So i updated and address for a listing i had on there for years plus edited a few sections and now the address not showing on frontend via listing card or listing page

Only option i have is through the payment plugin to send a support ticket and there is custom documentation on listify website and it’s that i used.

Hello Guys,
So i also noticed that to auto locate users on their visit to the website, it shows a location not so close to me, i guess it shows like City but when you click the locate me button it chooses your street address, is it because of the Extended Location Plugin? I haven’t been updated since 3.0.0

In relation to your query here, yes the plugin does use the location of the user to display the listings close to him or her. If you wish to integrate this Auto Locate feature you will need the Extended Location plugin. An update is worked on and will be released soon.

I have the Extended Location Plugin that i bought years ago and it was stucked on 3.0.0, i’m hesitant paying $30 for plugin again and it doesn’t work up to standards, there is no guarantees it will work.

Hey Brian,
Not sure of the features etc, it just needs to be accurate especially for persons outside the United States, should have all the latest maps updates etc.
I just turn on auto locate and went to my website frontend on 3 different browsers and it shows me a different parish in my country, just a few days ago it also showed a different parish in 3 different browsers.

Hello Guys,
Going through the Listing Payments Plugin, not sure if I’m doing something wrong or the plugin needs to be updated, but i will try to test fully and send in a support ticket, but biggest issue is if someone has a package to post unlimited listings, why going back to Submit a Listing it is showing the lower tier packages instead of just take you straight into the page.

With respect to your query here, by default the plugin will display all packages you have created to the user in the frontend of your site before submitting a listing. The user needs to be assigned a package first.

Hey Brian,
Something is wrong though, maybe on my end or something is off. So i have 3 packages, free and 2 paid, last paid is an unlimited listings. If someone choses unlimited posting of listings, if they submit one listing and then goes back to submit another it shows them the 2 lower tiers listing when it should take them straight into the submit a listing page.
1. How i setup my website up is when a User registers they get a Customer account just for searching, commenting, favourites etc, only if they want to add a listing i assign an Employer account for them.
2. Gallery images don’t work, uploading 2 or more just gives only one in admin section, please check that too.

- Is the use of the plugin “wp job manager field editor” the only way to edit/customize the fields on the listing form?

With respect to your query here, by default the theme has no custom field widget. Therefore, if you use the WP Job Manager – Field Editor plugin, you can add or customize custom fields within a listing form.
Regarding the front-end search results, you can use the FacetWP plugin to filter search results.

Was it the plugin that was updated or system/database, i was able to go in recovery mode and deactivated the plugin until you came with a fix, so now i activated the plugin and the error came again, so i went back into recovery mode and deactivated again.

Regarding your question here, you can allow your listing owners to sell WooCommerce products including digital or physical products whereas other users can buy them. However, in order to achieve this you need to install the WP Job Manager – Products plugin which will allow you to link WooCommerce products to your listings. Please see this doc for more insight about this.
In case you want to split the payment you need to enable commissions within your site. As for this case you would need to install the WooCommerce Product Vendor plugin which will have options to manage, calculate, and pay commissions. You can read more about this from this doc.

In relation to your question here, the Listify theme does not have an order link button as illustrated in your link above. To get this done, it might require further custom work to the theme. As for the custom fields, you can use the WP Job Manager – Field Editor plugin to add fields within your site. With it, you will be able to edit fields and disable them from being shown only when required.
