Hi Scot, in the current version of polo v5, the page-menu item does not support sticky-ness as you scroll the page. In previous versions it did. Is this a bug or am I missing the css class to add to the menu item?

See I purchased the template in previous versions, and deployed for a client with the page menu sticky feature and I am in the process of upgrading to bootstrap 5 with polo v5, but the page-menu sticky feature doesn’t work now.
It’s just a simple question, can’t you just tell me whether it’s a bug or it’s not supported? It’s just a yes or no, or better if you are so kind to let me know what to place in the class.
I don’t need to submit a support ticket and paid for extra support so you can answer yes or know.

If you mean for page-menu.html (the menu which is in the middle of the page) yes, we actually, removed this feature due to some issues with the new bootstrap 5 that we could not integrate with it. Sorry about that. But the page menu is still there and works perfectly fine.

I have succesfully setup the bundled version (5.4.8.1) on my local mac.
Can you please direct me on how to upgrade? The message across the top of my SR admin page says:
“Hi! Would you like to activate your version of Revolution Slider to receive live updates & get premium support? This is optional and not needed if the slider came bundled with a theme.”

The current Slider Revolution Responsive jQuery Plugin version is 5.4, which is also provided in the template. The jQuery version is dedicated only for html templates, and unfortunately the author of the plugin did not upgraded the same to version 6 similar like wrodpress version.
The only option to use version 6 is using purchasing from the author Slider Revolution Responsive WordPress Plugin and install it in a wordpress platform and then export templates as html.

Within the provided standalone Slider Revolution 5, I am trying to locate the .zip file for the design: revolution-websiteintro.html
I cannot locate it. I have found several other .zip examples within the examples-v4.x and examples-v5.x folders. But the above and several others are not there.

However some premium sliders such as revolution-websiteintro cannot be accessed/imported using the Revolution Slider Visual Editor at the moment on jQuery Version of the Slider provided by the Plugin Author, but we still try including them with Polo as exported HTML templates.

Hi, I’m wondering what the difference is between blog grid and blog masonry? I thought with grid the columns would be the same height across a row but that doesn’t seem to be true. The two pages below look the same to me.

Hi, yes the problem I’m having is with the blog 3-grid the columns are not even (more or less text in each post-item) so it results in items being out of order. For example instead of items being in order it arranges them out of sequence like row1 – item1, item2, item3 then row2 – item4, item5, item6 it will rearrange row2 to item6, item4, item5 then row3 to item9, item7, item8 etc. Not sure how to fix this.

The issue you mentioned is already fixed about 5 months ago, however you may need to regenerate the Access Token if your instagram widget is not working.
I can confirm that we had the same issue also on this page https://inspirothemes.com/polo/widgets.html but, after I updated our instagram Access token everything is working fine.

Before sending the message, I checked this page, and the Insta block was empty. Maybe it’s the Cache on my PC. Also, I downloaded the latest version of the template today, and checked all the files from the new version, the function and plugins code associated with the Insta widget has not been changed at all. So I didn’t think that it could be fixed. I haven’t changed any files since 2020, I just created a new token and the widget started showing photos. But the problems remained.
1) For example, the “data-col” display function does not work, no matter what value you specify, 4 columns will be shown. I specify 2, but 4 is shown. I specify 3, but 4 is shown. In your example that you showed, the value 3 is specified in the code, but 4 columns are shown.
2) The second problem is with the display of publications that represent a carousel. They are simply skipped and cannot be shown. Thus, you never know exactly how many publications will be shown on the site, so that it will be beautiful. Or you should refuse to publish a series of photos in your Insta profile. Thus, it makes no sense to use the “data-limit” option (it won’t show 12 or any other number of photos).
3) The third problem is showing the image format, Insta shows you square beautiful identical photos in the profile overview, but the widget does not make the pictures square, it shows them either as a diferent rectangle or a square.
All this imposes huge restrictions on the use of the Instagram function, and the use of this widget is inconvenient. Can you confirm that these problems really exist? I want to say (even if you correct the display of the “data-col” columns), in order to use this widget, I have to refuse to publish a series of photos in a carousel, and I have to publish exclusively identical photos by frame format, for example, square photos. And at this time, other users will use these wonderful Instagram features. I’m a loser.

What a great news, we are so glad that you were able regenerate Instagram Api Token and the widget is working now.
The data-col is working fine, just double checked. Please make sure you are using the original style.css file and always file.
Kindly understand that we have never promoted or said somewhere that the Instagram widget is compatible with carousel. If you would like to develop such style or functionality for your custom needs, please feel free to customize it as you wish.
Polo has its own style, and if you would like different styles Instagram photo styles, kindly use /css/custom.css file and add custom styles.
Furthermore, I hope you understand that this is a third party plugin, and we cannot control the way how the Facebook evolves their platform and requires regeneration of tokens in order to have access and show the Instagram account data, so kindly bear with us. We are doing the best to help you even though your support extension is expired many years ago!

Where are the demos? I look in the Template/homepages/ and I look in each of those folders, but there’s only an image folder with some images, but no html files. And I only have 70 folders in the /homepages/ folder, but I thought the theme comes with 220 layouts. I’m confused.

Yes it is, but with a custom css style. And you may need to use data-bg-image=”...” instead of data-bg-parallax.

About the scroll to top icons, yes this is meant to be, basically the script uses the first one to show and when you mouse over it moves up and shows the other one to make the animation.

Hi again, one more question… are there only the two options for setting slider height… data-height and data-height-xs? When I set data-height to 500 and data-height-xs to 300 there is a break point in between where the slider height changes to 600 (default halfscreen?).

Yes you are correct. There are two options data-height and data-height-xs to change height of the slider. However, sometimes when content inside is larger than the height you have set on the slider, in order to show the full content it will change the size by itself.

The page called home-magazine-v2.html has an issue where the image carousel height doesn’t adjust appropriately when you maximize the browser window.
1. Open the page home-magazine-v2.html 2. It should open in a window on the desktop 3. Maximize the browser window to full screen
Notice that the height of the image carousel doesn’t adjust so the text is being cut off.
Seen when using a 4k monitor with a high resolution but probably occurs on most resolutions. The actual demo version is fine but the downloaded version contains the issue.
