Great theme but some simple things are excruciatingly painful – for example… when I add block to the page (image plus text plus icon) there is a dropdown list to choose the icon (awsome font icon)
In the drop down list there are like 300 icons and they are not sorted alphabetically. It took me 10 minuts to find icon-laptop in the list and it kills me
If there is an easy way to look for icons in the dropdown list please let me know. I hope it’s not me missing something simple…

Your demo says “easily build video backgrounds”. I bought the theme but don’t see any instructions on how to use most QODE fuctions of this theme. It’s like its missing half of the documentation. Please tell me there is better documentation than the documentation included because that only gives you minimal documentation on installing the theme and overview of whats included. For example, are there any videos or documentation of how to use shortcodes inside a paralax section with background video? How do I easily build video backgrounds? How do I create paralax sections like on the demo? It’s not as straight forward as I would have thought.

I am sorry for your frustration and you are right, we did much better job on newer themes regarding documentation.
You can add video background by adding Row to Visual Composer, editing it, setting its Row Type field to Section and checking Use Video Background field.

Thanks for the reply. It helped a lot. On my home page, I have the “don’t show title” box clicked under QODE Custom Fields… yet I still see “HOME” title on my front page. How do I get it to go away?
Click on Don’t show page title area checkbox
I did that and it still shows. The only way I don’t have the title show up is to put a layerslider on the page using the shortcode. Its strange.

It seems that all of the woocommerce styling is gone after updating to the latest woocommerce version. Any thoughts on that?

Yes. They broke compatibility with previous version of plugin. Please update our theme to latest version. Make sure to remove all files from subway/woocommerce/ folder before you copy new files there.

Hi guys, need urgent help here…
Installed wordpress 3.8.1. Couldn’t install the theme through WP, was getting an error “do you really want to do this? try again”. Increased the file upload and post limit in php.ini – didn’t help.
Then I uploaded the theme through ftp to /wp-content/themes directory, then went to activate it and when I clicked on Activate I got white screen of death. Wpadmin displays nothing, all ’s whit,e the site itself went white…
Figured it out, set ftp transfer to binary as mentioned in your documentation. But your documentation states it is needed for filezilla and I have cute ftp pro. It looks like pretty much every ftp client has to have this setting enabled. I think adjusting the docs would be a good idea…

Sample data is just exported content from our demo site, it’s meaningless, so if you want you can erase all comments. We will erase them for future exports.

I updated my theme to the most recent feb 13th version and it has broken my page’s checkout.

did you upgrade WooCommerce to latest version as it says in update log of the theme:
- Added WooCommerce 2.1 integration(from this version our theme is compatible only with WC 2.1+)

I did update the woocommerce prior to updating the theme. It gave that error.
I have reverted to an older backup as I need my website to run and for products to sell,.

WooCommerce created a mess with latest update and you can google and read what other customers say about it. If you don’t need to update it, then better wait until they release stable version and fix issues.

Your theme looks amazing. I have a question. Does your theme support IE 8, 9, 10, 11? The reason why I am asking you of this is that many themes claim to support IEs when as a matter of face things can be messed up when working with their themes.
Tell me the truth about you theme.
Plus I am interested in all of your themes and if any theme is compatible with IEs, I want to make a purchase it.

On theme profile page, you can see the browser compatibility for our themes. Subway is listed as IE9+ compatible. Our newer themes are not listed as IE8 compatible since there are a lot of new features that IE8 simply doesn’t support, but from IE9+, they are compatible.

Sorry if this sounds rude, but WHY THE F%$& ARE YOU OVERWRITING CHECKOUT PAGE PLACEHOLDERS in custom_override_checkout_fields (woocommerce_configuration.php) ... How is this supposed to work with localization?!? I may not see the point behind this, but to me this looks like interns are programming at your place

I bought Icon Box plugin which is add-in for Visual Composer and its not working. The required VC version for that plugin is 3.7.
Any plans to upgrade the Visual Composer to 3.7?

When we developed Subway, Visual Composer didn’t support nested shortcodes, so we needed to make lot of custom changes in order to support all of our shortcodes. For that reason, it’s very hard to update VC now without breaking compatibility of our theme. Sorry for that.
