@FOREVERFLYYPHOTOS -your php is most likely the problem due to your php version on your hosting server. 1 find out which php you are running -login to your host and find out 2 try different versions-low 7.4 should work-all the way up to 8.2 3 change theme in Appearance>Theme and test with your php version Do all this then blame the theme-as this theme is installed in hundreds of thousands of websites and it works (i have about 24 websites/licenses) and they are all up and running… For security reasons your hosting company sometimes is updating automatically the php version(which will explain why it worked find for the first 6 months)-but if you have a reliable hosting partner-you should be able to select the php version for each application folder.

After the latest update my sites formatting is a bit messed and all the page templates I made and stored in WP Bakery have vanished.
As for formatting, it looks like margins or buffers are gone so text isn’t centered correctly within my design elements and text is squashed together in others
As for the templates, I had designed banners and sections to easily insert onto pages within the site and had been successfully using since starting construction. After the update my template library is empty
Just thought I’d let you know since most of the comments have been about Elementor issues

Duh!! Sorry. I logged in with my personal account rather than my work account. I’ll stop over to your support page where I have an account already and contact you there. I could use some help knocking my banners back into place and figuring out how to get access to the templates again.
I would like to take the opportunity to say that prior to this little hiccup I have absolutely LOVED working with this theme. I’ve purchased at least a dozen through Themeforest and often have to contact developers repeatedly about quirks or bad code, or find themes that are lacking in general or bumpy to navigate. Yours has really been a dream to work with! There was no lag time between install and starting my build. Anyone familiar with WP and WP Bakery page builders should find your theme intuitive and easy to configure with lots of features that work as they should. And the price you charge for the theme is a steal. Just a really great product compared to a lot of what’s out there.

Depreciated and broke the Photography portfolio theme shortly after buying gave up on support as they claim my site is fine and working as intended… even though if i allow the7 to update it will break wordpress and i will need to roll back the entire server… now its so out of date i cant even edit or post anything waste of money and a bait and switch!

As our support team has already explained in your support request: the theme has not been deprecated. It was the pre-made website marked as “deprecated”, because we no longer suggest it for new buyers. Nevertheless, it still can be imported.
Also, the support engineer has never claimed your website is working fine, neither refused to assist with existing issues. He mentioned that, most probably, the problem is not caused by The7 and suggested to try deactivating third-party plugins. Moreover, despite understanding the problem is not caused by the theme, he offered to provide us with your website credentials if third-party plugins deactivation doesn’t help.
no its caused by your lack of care of what those of us use… this theme is not working “Fine” and great i can now update to the newest… I STILL CANNOT UPDATE CHANGE OR DO ANYTHING to what’s already there THAT I PAID FOR and its been like that over 2 years… im sorry you think i got a great deal but my site hasnt been working since 6 months after buying it i still cant do anything that you insist works and relies on elementor that no longer works… throwing <?php the_content(); ?> missing you must call to the_content in your current theme… doesn’t matter rolling back or up to date.. the theme is BROKEN and UNUSABLE IN THIS STATE!!!

Hello. I am currently using the Testimonial Carousel element within WPBakery provided by Dream-Theme. The carousel allows us to display only a brief summary (excerpt) of each testimonial, which is a great feature.
However, I noticed that there is no “Read More” option where we can set a custom link. This functionality would be very useful for redirecting users to a centralized testimonial feed created with the “Testimonials Masonry & Grid” DT element on another page.
This enhancement aligns with a common use case: providing a seamless way for visitors to click through from the carousel to view the complete list of testimonials.
Would it be possible to implement this feature in the Testimonial Carousel element, or consider it for a future update? I believe it would significantly improve the flexibility and user experience of this element.

I love the theme. I have 4 licenses for it. I just wanted to echo what the other latest comments have said. I’m experiencing the same issues running The7 Version: 12.1.1 and getting a fatal error after updating Elementor Pro to the latest version.
I don’t have any support license left, so I won’t be making a ticket. Just wanted to make you aware of the issue that seems to be affecting a few people.

Hi there, it is a few days now that I can‘t use Elemetor. It never stops loading. It only works if I deactivate the PRO Elements plugin or activate the Elementor safe mode. Is there a workaround to get the theme to work right again? I made every new update.

Hello in regards for WP-Bakery blank page on Background settings. I believe the latest version of the theme is not compatible with 3.9.23 and with 8.01. Are you aware? if i change the theme
WP-Bakery works fine editing my pages, but then i enable The7, wp backery is not loading full options -like row backround setup, option to chose betwwen defalut VC row and The7.
So the annoing part is that every time i edit my pages i have to use a different theme.
This is a first happening for me -for the last 10 years since i use your theme. Can you help?

Default PORTFOLIO date/author will not hide
Hello.I am using the portfolio with WP Bakery. Can you guide me on how to remove the Date and author from the portfolio (blog) page? Alreay disabled in post types , but it does not seems to work. Fully aware i can make another page>insert porfolio/grid/masonry and edit settings, but that will imply anothe URL/slug . Do we need to edit the theme code to remove those? its seems very impractical not to have access to remove the author and date . as i mention before from theme settings>post types>portfolio>is already disabled . one of the solution is this to be added to Advance>Custom CSS ____ .portfolio-entry-meta, .entry-meta { display: none !important; }

But in my mind is that you actually have a setting in the theme, since its the default portfolio main page with all portfolio items displayed.

Ok, i understand now. It might be a great idea to post this note on the portfolio settings -for example after you enable the “portfolio part. ive also tried creating a blank page-and use the blog-grid layout and it seems to work also. anyway i’ve ended up like you mention adding the portfolio code in wp bakery>customizing it to my liking> then select the archive page as my new created page. Will see the damage when i actually start the blog posts also, to see if the archive template from portfolio interfere with the actual archive from blog post. Thank you for the fast asnwer!

There were sites I tried. Those sites are not currently in use. I only use it on one site. Is it possible to reduce or cancel its usage on other sites?
