Is there a way to define separate styles for a Desktop monitor vs a laptop? So like 1920px vs 1300px? I see options for Mobile and Tablet, but not Laptop and Desktop.

Actually this is not an option but we have insert for next theme update, a customer of us has suggested to implement more “breakpoints” (and technically it’s very easy).
Yup, that’s what I’m talking about. What do you recommend I do to have different looks for browser widths between 960px and 1300px? I already have the styles looking good on desktop using the theme, but when I get within this range, things start to look wonky. Is custom CSS for this custom breakpoint the only route?

Thanks. I just tried signing up but as this is work for a client who has purchased the theme and has the purchase code, I couldn’t finish the process. I don’t really need additional support besides knowing if custom CSS is the only option to style custom breakpoints, such as 960px – 1300px. I’m guessing it is.
As you know purchase code verification is a must to access support, anyway if this is not a native option of Uncode you need custom CSS. I hope you can understand.

Hi there,
I believe I’m in need of updating the Visual Composer for a website that is currently not displaying content which would usually be generated by this plugin.
So I have 2 questions:
1. By updating the UNCODE theme update from April 3rd – will this update the Visual Composer plugin that comes with the theme?
2. What is the best way to update the theme – is it as straight forward as just re-uploading the .zip or depending how many files there are, is it possible to manually upload the updated files?

I suggest to update the Ucnode theme with new version 1.3.3 and update also the required plugins packed with the theme (Uncode Core and Uncode Visual Composer). Without a check I cannot udnerstand the problem but this can ben caused both by the new WP4.5 version, both by the WooCommerce new 2.6 version. Anyway the new theme udpate fix both. Hello, I just recently installed an update with Woocomerce for Uncode. I also set up the Envato Toolkit so that it automatically installs Uncode every time there is a new update. However, I thought that if I have a plugin (Envato Toolkit) that automatically updates the Uncode theme, I might as well get a plugin that automatically backups my database.
So, I found a plugin called “UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin,” which automatically backups my databases, which is very much needed when I have Woocomerce.
My question is: will installing this plugin mess up the Uncode theme, since it says I should only have the recommended plugins activated (woocomerce, envato toolkit, contact form 7, etc.)?

Hello… fantastic theme, thank you. I have one question and hopefully I haven’t missed a response to this already, I looked but couldn’t find one.
When a top-level menu item is clicked (using the menu-on-left variation; hamishrobertson.com), it expands the submenu. When I visit a page or portfolio I’ve placed in the submit I’d like that top-level menu top stay open so the submenu items I’m on can stay visible and highlighted.
Is that possible?

Hi emrecengiz, do you need to change the header images? Do you refer to this? Headers are external to page and you you have this in the Content Block list as for the link I have sent you. If this don’t helps please open a ticket in our forum (as you can see this wall it’s not for detailed support) and specify an example from our demo you are not able to change, maybe we don’t understand. Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t offer a download option (we never show this in our demo features), you need to right click on the main image.

Just read about deeplinking, thanks for your explanation.
I know about he solution with right-clicking on an image to download it. On smartphones you have to touch the screen for a second or two, but unfortunately on iPhones this doesn’t work in most cases within the lightbox. Android phones work well. I try to solve it with a download link.

Sorry really not understood the request, in WordPress portfolio items are a custom post type and it’s really different from a page, you cannot transform or connect a portfolio item to a page, at least you need to use the portfolio item as it is a page in custom mode, ex: http://www.undsgn.com/uncode/portfolio/centered-custom-one/

I have an issue with the blog. I have to make a main blog with different categories (cat1, cat2, cat3). These categories have subcategories (cat11, cat12, cat21, cat22, etc..) and I have to design a page for each category. So, when I have the page for cat1, the filters for the post module that I will need in that page are the ones from the subcategories (cat11, cat 12). Is there a way to do this?
