Dear Uncode Support Team, I would like to report a conflict with contact form 7.

How to reproduce the error:

1. Set the site language to german. 2. Create a page and insert post query with products. (have woocommerce installed) 3. Check the page and you will see the “Select Options” or “Add to cart” buttons in German. (expected behaviour) 4. Edit the created page and add a contact form 7 (any).Update the page. 5. Check the page and you will see the “select Options” or “Add to cart” buttons in english.

Summary, there is language conflict bug with contact form 7. As long as contact form 7 is not on the page everything works as expected. As soon as a contact form is added, the buttons switch to english. Very strange.

I would be very grateful if you could look into this, I am happy to support you in any way. Thank you very much in advance.

A few days ago, a problem like that was reported for Contact Form 7 https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cf7-is-breaking-the-localization-translation/ which was, however, fixed in version 5.7.4 the same one you seem to have on your site. If this is not the case, I advise you to update Contact Form 7.

I’d also recommend disabling any extra plugins, especially if you have some related to CF7, and see if the problem is caused by one of them.

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction, I found the solution now. You have to recreate a new contact form to make sure its in the same locale as the whole wordpress page. The support here really is incredible. Thanks again.

Hi supermex! As alerted in our documentation you cannot use the Delay JS option since this can cause multiple problems.

without those settings my page speed results are very bad. there is a lot of unused CSS and JS from your theme according to page speed insights

It was what we had already noticed a few weeks ago if I’m not mistaken if you have dozens of extra plugins these contribute to penalizing the scores of the site (which are different from the speed for a user of the site). If there was a solution we would have avoided writing in the doc not to use this option.

Hi Liranz! It is virtually impossible to help you if you say you have a problem that no other user reports and especially if you don’t even include the link to your site. Please at least share the URL of your site (of course disable ALL extra plugins first because it looks exactly like an issue related to a possible extra plugin that is causing problems).

Unsdgn/Uncode text and links appears in search results pages. How do I remove this?

Hi Kismii! Probably you have some pages from the Uncode Demo Contents that are still published on your installation. Did you unpublish all the imported pages?
Anyway, if you send us a link we can help you better but somehow some imported content remained published.

After the last update I cannot place svg files into single media modules without the whole page crashing or just eternally loading when I click edit on the module. I cannot use the dynamic media feature either to assign svg files from featured image or secondary featured image.

Hi, I have LCP issues on all pages. LCP score is very bad, over 4 sec for almost every page. I think it’s the header image. Any way to load that faster?

If you want to improve your score you need to check a few aspects, not only the header image.

but even simple pages have a very long lcp, and I think the lcp is always the header image right?

Hi, actually LCP tells you how long it takes for the main content of the page to load and be “read” by the user. Hi snuk! The “Read More”, by default, in WordPress is only supposed to work on Blog Post to create the introductory text for the main index page (the list with all blog entries). It’s not supposed to work for normal text. We are sorry but there is not a simple trick we can suggest to create what you ask.

Pre-sale question. I noticed in a review of uncode that this theme framework requires Visual Composer to build pages. Is this true? I thought uncode was supposed to be it’s own version of VC.

You missed the point. I’m asking if Visual Composer is part of this theme? Several websites that review the theme state that it is, but you don’t list visual composer anywhere in the theme details.

It’s confusing as it looks like you have your own page builder, but then it would appear you’re using a version of Visual Composer. That’s totally fine, I just need the clarification.

Hi bryanmbp18! It’s not a default option but you we can suggest to you the HTML code. Anyway, since Uncode offers the possibility to use two different lightboxes what is the one you are using? Can you please share the link of a page of your website that use the lightbox so we can check? ps: note that this workaround can work if you don’t use the Split CSS/JS option.

Hello, I have strange uncode problem, probably with database: I cannot change size of headings on “Typography” (Uncode Theme Option) anymore and if I add a new color in the “Palette” menu, it is well visible in the pague builder, but the color is not assigned to the text. Maybe more issues, haven’t checked all functions so far. Please help, thank you

yes, this was a cache issue. Deleted all cache plugins, now it works. New problem now: My query (portfolio wirefrime element) is not working anymore. I try to filter via categories, but UNCODE cannot find the categrory anymore. Worked fine until yesterday, now there are no entries possible when building a query. Tried several wireframe elements, but it does not work.

Search for “author” is working fine in the query, by the way. But “categories” does not find my entries, and without database match the entry is not accepted. I am abolutely positive that I have defined the category name in “portfolio categories”, and it is also related to several single portfolios. I even tried with a new category, still no reaction.

Hi worduppr! It’s really not easy to understand without a reference. Anyway, if you need to use the Query option, please note that with Portfolio you need to use Taxonomies as listed in the options, ex: https://undsgn.d.pr/i/r6dPIj
Now if you’re referring to something else and as you say it was working until yesterday maybe you have a server problem, or you installed something extra that creates conflicts, since it’s very unlikely that something that was working one day won’t work the next day.

You can filter any Theme Options setting by adding a PHP snippet to your child theme (about child themes: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213454729-Child-Theme):

In the snippet you can see a list of numbers corresponding to the IDs of the pages on which you want to display the dark menu skin, replace them with the ones you prefer (it can also be a single value).

that particular feature is specific to WooCommerce so you can only have it within a product with variations. Uncode does not have carousels using thumbs as navigation, sorry, if I understand what you mean. Was really liking your theme at first glance. But after testing it on mobile, tablet and desktop, I am not. Adding items to the wishlist doesn’t work; you can’t update the cart, you can’t remove items from the cart, there is no continue shopping button on the cart, increasing the quantity of items in your cart is clunky, on the phone you have to click on items twice sometimes three times to activate the link, the list goes on. Loving the AJAX, but you really need to fix your demos so they work correctly, and the designs/layouts for mobile devices need work. I’ll pass.

Can you, for example, tell us exactly one thing of the things you listed and what device you are testing it with (I mean URL of the page you are on, action you take and device), so that we can replicate it. I’m using an M1 iMac with the latest version of Google Chrome. I am testing your AJAX shop, and I have in the cart the Everyday Backpack, Spectrum X-200T, Integra Trident and the Traverse Winner shoes. I have cleared my cache and restarted my browser, and these items can’t be removed or updated. The side-cart only shows items I add, and I can remove these but when I do I get redirected to the shopping cart where these above-mentioned items are. I also noticed today that if I add the yellow Everyday Backpack to my cart and I then add the red Everyday Backpack to my cart the yellow Everyday Backpack is removed, what if my customers want to buy two in different colours, they can’t.

Hello! I try to update my uncode theme from 2.3.0.6. to 2.7.7 by automatic update and I receive this error: The Envato Purchase Code seems to be invalid. Please try to unregister and register the product again. If the issue persists, contact the theme creator. Please, let me know how I should proceed in this case.
