Yes the link color will take the color that you set as Color Scheme. If this does not get reflected, it is likely that you have some caching plugin or server cache enabled. Flush/Purge/Delete the cache,disable the plugin and then try saving the option.

What is the memory limit on your server ? The theme should work with a memory limit of even 64 MB, but Importing the demo data with the images would be a problem without sufficient memory and max execution time. You can import the XML files and choose not to download attachments. Without sufficient memory, most popular themes would not work well and you might have problems using 3rd party plugins. So I would recommend going with a hosting provider who offers a decent memory limit. Most popular hosting companies like bluehost, offer 128 MB memory limit even with the basic shared hosting plan.

You can choose one of the google fonts which supports the Arabic subset or if you have .tff files for your custom fonts you can use the Child Theme and follow the steps below – 1. Generate a @font face kit of your font using the tool in this link http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator Install the Oshin child theme and in its style.css file you have to import the stylesheet file that you find inside the @fontface package you generated in the above step. 2. Write custom css rules in your child theme, to ppply the fonts to the appropriate html tags (h1- h6 , body etc).

By using one of the compatible google fonts you can apply the fonts using the settings in the options panel itself instead of writing custom css code.

Unfortunately, the option to enable autoscroll on Gallery Tempalte Slider is not available currently. We are, however, working on a huge upgrade to the Sliders used in the theme and this feature will be available in the future theme updates very soon.

The Text Transform on the Portfolio Filters is been hardcoded to be uppercase always. You can use the CSS code below to override that. You need to paste the code in the Custom CSS section in the General Settings tab under Oshin Options -

.filters h6{ text-transform: none; }

The option to modify the typography of the Portfolio Title and Category is given under Oshin Options > Portfolio Settings. The option name is Title on Portfolio Grid and Meta on Portfolio Grid respectively.

UPDATE: I think it was the update to Page Builder 2.1. I uploaded 1.9 again and the thumbnails are back. Have you experienced this issue with the update before?

Also, how do you change the BG color for the portfolio details area? This is the side pop out area when using the Horizontal slider. I’ve changed all settings i could find in options but nothing changed it from its default white. I made the change by rewriting the Page Builder itself but i’m assuming there has to be a better way so that it doesn’t get knocked out with updates. thank you

Make sure you update the theme to its latest version – Oshin 2.1 for the Portfolio and Gallery Module to work seamlessly with BE Page Builder 2.1.

The BG color applied to the Portfolio Info Box is the Secondary BG color that you can set up under Oshin Options > Background.

Thanks for the reply. I had someone working on code but they reworked the main theme, not the child. So, as to not override the changes i didn’t update yet. Once i figure out how to import any changes made to the child theme, I’ll do the update and see if that fixes the portfolio thumbs and the Be-Slider. Thanks for all the help

have you followed the instructions that is given in this page of the documentation – brandexponents.com/oshin/documentation/#import-content . You should be importing the Primary Content and V3. This will get you all the page,posts, portfolio items and widgets required for the V3 demo. However the ‘menu’ will have only the pages that you see in the demo – v3 included. You can add the other pages as you need into the menu.

If you can tell me where exactly you are stuck, or give me a link to your page, and I will be able to tell you what the subsequent steps are.

We do have the Read More option on Posts page, if you have added the preview text in the ‘excerpts’ section or if you have split the content using the ‘more’ tag in the text editor according to the blog style. Were you not able to get this button in your Blog posts page?

1. Unfortunately, it is not possible to show the footer along with the section BG image. However, you can achieve this if you are using the Slider Revolution for the image in your page. Add that one image in a Slide using Slider revolution and set it as a Full Screen Slider. This plugin gives you the option to offset Header and Footer heights, so you will be able to see the footer without scrolling.

2. What purpose do you need a shortcode for?

3. Yes. The language drop down menu should work with the Overlay Menu style in V7. Please let me know if you see some issues with this.

This is called the Page Title module. The Background color of this module can be edited in the ‘Background’ tab under Oshin Options. The Typography of the module can be edited in the ‘Typography’ tab under Oshin Options.

Unfortunately, the text that is displayed in this module is defaulted and cannot be changed. The left side will be the title of the page and right side will have the breadcrumbs.

I am glad you could resolve the issue with your server. To set up a page as Dual Carousel, please follow the steps below -

1. Add a new Page

2. Set the Page Template in the Bottom Right corner as ‘Portfolio’

3. In the ‘Portfolio Template Options’ metabox, choose the Slider Type as ‘Dual Carousel’. You can also set up the other options like the Category of Portfolio and Animation Style here.

The Dual Carousel template, will pull the Portfolio post items. The content that you give in the Page Builder section of the respective Portfolio will be shown in the Left and the images that you upload under the Slider Images section of the respective Portfolio will be seen in the right side.

We have just released an update fixing the dual carousel portfolio issue. We left out a file from the package in the previous update. We have restored them. You can update the theme directly from the backend once you have verfied your purchase by entering the purchase code in the backend under APPEARANCE -> OSHIN PURCHASE CODE.

Unfortunately, the responsiveness of the Slider is handled in the Plugin and that cannot be overridden in the theme code. You can either have a ‘Non Transparent’ header in the page, or make the Slider occupy Full Screen, so that you can give it some more space, especially when you have more text in your site.

hi Swami. yes i did this because otherwise with a wide screen the content look too wide for my opinion. i dont understand the relation between wrap size and padding left. is there any workaround?

so you mean if i change the max width it affects also the left and right padding?

Yes if you modify the max width the space occupied by the container will be reduced and the space on the left and right will increase.

Since the site is responsive – i.e the layout of the modules will get adjusted according to the screen sizes, you will not be able to pinch and zoom them, as we have disabled it, so that the content fit in the wrapper.
