This option is not currently available in the theme. The option to set exclusive Back to Home link is available only on the Portfolio Navigation bar and not in the Module. We will incorporate this feature in the future updates. Appreciate your patience.

It is mainly a question of consistency, I found ways to circumvent this limitation by discarding both the Potfolio title bar and the Portfolio navigation module.

But your theme is really great so I felt it is worth to give you this feed-back so that you elminate this little confusing incosistency in the future.

Again, this feature is not available, unfortunately, You cannot add title over the images that you add using the gallery Module. You need to use Portfolio Module to serve this purpose. You can add these items as Portfolio posts, and set them all as type ‘Lightbox Image’. Link them all to a unique Category. Then, use the Portfolio module in the page to pull just the images from that category. I hope this alternative is helpful. Let me know if you need further instructions.

that worked. thank you! one other question (sorry). so i have the site set to the one-page layout and i like that. but i do have a few interior pages. i’m having a problem now with the main menu on the interior pages because the menu items are not working properly. since i have the pages set as custom links with an anchor (i.e. about us is #about), it is calling up an incorrect link on the interior pages. so the portfolio items are like: http://sagehousedesigns.com/newsite/portfolio/cortina-units-7-9/, so when i hit the pages on the main menu it is going http://sagehousedesigns.com/newsite/portfolio/cortina-units-7-9/#about, for example. and on the blog it does this: http://sagehousedesigns.com/newsite/portfolio/blog/#contact. how can i change this? can i set a new menu for the interior pages? or am i doing something wrong with how i set the menu items for the one page? thanks. if you need to get in there it’s: sagehousedesigns.com/newsite main shdtelluride15

Hi,

You had given just the Section ID in the custom Links and had not prefixed it with the Page URL in which the Section was. This is the reason why the section assumed the relative path based on the page in which you currently are. I modified the links in this format – http://sagehousedesigns.com/newsite/#about and the link back to the section from other pages now work well. You might notice that all the links on the left side are highlighted when you are on the home page. This issue should be fixed if you update the theme to its latest version – 2.1.2.

You can use the Video module in the theme to embed the video , in a full screen section. However this will not have the auto play feature.

Alternative option is to use the Slider Revolution plugin, that is included with the theme. You can create a slider with just one slide and embed the video in this slide. You can also set the autoplay feature in the slider. Then add the slider shortcode in a Full Screen Section in the page.

We have not tested this feature with any plugin as yet and hence cannot assure its seamless working. That said, you can try and use the plugin that best suits your needs and it should mostly work. The plugin might not support Ajax loading, and you have option to exclude any page from Ajax loading in the Oshin Options > Site Layout.

Are you able to point me to the file where I would edit the create dates, by chance and please?

I am not sure if I get you right. By “backend”, i meant Wordpress admin panel. You need to navigate to Portfolios > All Portfolios. If you click on the ‘Quick Edit’ link beneath each Portfolio Item, you will see the option to edit the Create Date. You can key in the date according to the order in which you want your items to be displayed.

Take a backup of the existing theme copy from your File Manager before you update the theme , just in case you need to go back to a old version.

Also, I think I may have come across a glitch. On this pagebuilder page (http://74.220.219.113/~shereenz/mseg/ ) when you scroll down, the page automatically scrolls back up before you can continue down the page. Have I accidentally made this happen? Is there a way to make the page scroll down normally?

Yes you can add a Title to the Top of each Page. You can use the Page Builder and add the Title using the Text Block module or one of the Special Title modules. There isn’t a Global Setting to add the title in the page, if you are using the page builder.

If you decide to disable page builder, though, you will see the Title Module will appear in all the page on top, by default.

There isn’t an option in the theme to change the Menu Alignment. You can, however, use the Custom CSS code below to do this -

I assume you are asking about the Blog page? You do have this feature in the them. We have just chosen not to showcase it in the V18 – Restaurant demo. If you have alook at the other demos – Main Demo, V2, V3, V5, V6 etc, you can see various combination of layouts possible for the Blog page. These options are included in the backend. That said, all the features that you see in the demos are all driven by options and can be used in you site. Hope this clarifies your question.

Alright, we will look into the issue with the menu. Regarding the scroll to section and viewport, the issue could be most likely due to other work in progress in the test site. These do not occur in the main demo which runs the latest version of the theme.

The option to ‘Display Comments on Pages’ on pages is given under Oshin Options > General Settings . You have to disable this setting to hide comments in the pages.

In V17 demo we have used the Gallery Module. From what you say, i guess you have used the ‘Portfolio Module’ which will pull your portfolio items in the grid. The way, the gallery module will work is that you have to drag and drop the images in the module, and you will be able to open each of them in Lightbox and swipe through the images.

Hi,

There is a option called ‘Snapping’ that you can find on top of your slide in the backend. This option will look like a switch. Turn this off and then turn it on again, and save the Slider. This should get the formatting of the Slider contents correct in the Front End.

Regarding the link, you can do that using the Text Area and link the URL using the ‘link’ icon in the editor.

Although the plugin is included in the theme, we cannot explain how each element of the plugin would work and teach them to the buyers. We have included the documentation of MasterSlider in the theme and have provided the Sample Slider content for every slider created in our demos. If you are not familiar with the plugin, we suggest you use the Demo Sliders as-is or try to learn how the plugin works by going through their documentation. If you think you will need extensive and exclusive support for the Slider, you might have to purchase a license from them, to be able to use the author’s expertise.

Regarding the Contact form – the Captcha is not included in the form that comes with the theme. Alternatively, you can use any third party plugin for contact form that supports Captcha – like Contact Form 7 plugin. This is compatible with the theme and we recommend it.

Just to update, I tried toggling the snap setting but there was no change. I’m having similar issues with Revolution slider. I got some advice from themepunch after purchasing support but do not have a fix since the issue was with the theme
