Installing the demo content manually is a little bit complicated, first you need to install the WordPress Importer in Tools > Import and then import the content.xml file there, then in the Theme Options copy all that is inside of options.json and paste it there, there is no way to just drop them in your FTP because the files will be downloaded from our online server.

Hi Pavel,

After that go to Laborator > Theme Options > Backup Options and where that code is remove it all and paste the one from options.json, also in the extras folder as you see are other extras like the layerslider or revolution slider, so if you want to import them go directly in the plugin and start importing them.

2—Layer Slider don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of that plugin included, and customers don’t need to worry about that,

You never need to buy any premium plugins that comes with our theme

3— You can visit our Kalium Documentation site, and you can see all the features on the Theme Options of the theme, all the options have their explanations on the right side.

It wasn’t so much about customisations, it was about this:

Remember that on each theme update the core theme files such as (PHP, JS and some other files) will overwrite to original theme files, so your modifications will loose, you can use Child theme to made modifications if you know what are you doing.

1. Can you please open laborator_actions.php go to line 1206 and replace the function name “is_single” to “is_singular”, it will fix this issue.

P.S: We will fix this issue on the next update

2. We have seen this but we could’t solve it, and we think that is a Wordpress issue.

After some testing i finally managed to solve it by myself! Maybe someone else will want to do a similar change as me so this is how i solved it.

If you want your portfolio showcase to be used by your modified php file, you need to direct this in the file “single-portfolio.php” and change the path of where it gets the template

You need to change this line code, depending on what kind of template you are using!

For my case i had to change this line of code: case “type-2”: get_template_part(‘tpls/portfolio-single-2’); break;

To this instead

case “type-2”: get_template_part(’../mikaelgonera/portfolio-single-2’); break;

So i just changed the file path of where it should get the template from, which in this case is my modified php file in my childtheme folder “mikaelgonera”
