You can either use Buddypress Message component for that. Or play with Wise chat (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wise-chat/) features to make it work as you wish.

Your blog listing page doesnt make it easy to sourec appropriate images because you use this wide thin featured image layout for each. Is it not possible to have a grid or better still, a masonry layout for this page so that 3 blog items can be seen in a row?
It has become such an issue for us that we are thinking of changing themes and we dont want to do that.
Please do comment as I think its a really important required update.

Hello, Sorry that i am kind a frustrated with the over all things happening while installing your theme.
Until the basic theme & installation you have provided each step well. after set up, when we actually wants to set up extranet and set up group and allow only sub admin created members, there is nothing on those types than just external links to read others web pages. Now, i am confused on file away & multiverso. as i want to create 2 sub admin who can create 10 members each and connect on a project to share files & discussion (IT IS CLOSED GROUP AND NOTHING TO DO WITH OTHERS ON THIS SITE) Now to do above if you say it is not woffice support and its plug in & other stuff then how can you claim this is an intranet compatible them? A theme must do promised stuff with plugins. I have wasted more than week on this theme. So given up. Dont know what else to say.
Your demo contents includes only few dummy comments & 2 members. What i have seen is it actually provide you a demo intranet, which is not at your case.
I HAVE TOLD ENOUGH TIMES THAT WHAT I WANT, BUT WHAT I GET REPLY IS LOOK THERE & LOOK HERE. Is it a support a theme creator let buyers questions are not addressed properly?

Okay let’s do that step by step.
1. Our “so called intranet theme.”, actually we’re really proud of it. We see hundred of Intranets/Extranets built with our tool everyday and people from all around the world making awesome stuff with it. Passing from one of the French minister to a 1000+ employees Corporate Intranet but also an Equestrian club in Morocco. So yes, we see a lot of various examples and we don’t plan to stop it.
2. In fact, you’re having some troubles because Buddypress isn’t built to create a “pair” network when only 2 members are linked. I advised you Buddypress groups as it’s a good way to create that “link” between both users. Regarding the projects, as I said, as long as you set some members on the Project’s settings. Only these members will be able to see the page (comments/files/tasks…). So yes projects might be a good alternative.
3. Creating user from the front-end. 3 ways to create user in Wordpress : - Use the Wordpress admin “Add User” page but your user needs admin access or the capability to reach the admin side. We already explained you how to achieve this. – Use the Register form, as it’s just a form to add user. Woffice as a custom shortcode used in the login page so you can use on any other page BUT as it was not built for that you might have some lines to change in the shortcode. – Use a plugin that do that for you. I advised you Gravity form, because they have a specific addon for that purpose but there is plenty others.
4. Thanks for the feedback regarding the Demo Content, we’re working on a Demo Import extension since 2 weeks which is way more powerful than the Wordpress Import feature. But we won’t include many users in these files as it doesn’t make any sense to create fake users that you’ll delete right after as you don’t know their password/email.
5. Regarding our support. Well I don’t really understand what you’re expecting from us. If it’s finding a way to achieve what you want with Woffice, we do that. And I can copy/past the reply I sent you on Ticksy. But yes you’re right if you want to go on unknown paths with Wordpress then clearly you’ll need some plugins to create what you want. If it’s fixing issue and adding features, obviously this what we’re doing (see changelog here : https://woffice.io/changelog). If it’s making it for you. Sorry it’s not allowed by Themeforest’s policy and we don’t do that.
What now ? Really sorry but we have a lot of things to do : provide support to our lovely customers, working on the next update and the next features coming out this week. So, I don’t want to discuss if the theme is an “Intranet” theme or not as actually you won’t change your point of view.
I wish you good luck to find another way to achieve your Intranet. Just don’t use any other Wordpress theme for that as they’re all built with Buddypress so that’ll be the exact same issue.

Yes, i am working on your theme to make it work according to the intranet and following all of your suggestions. However yet to achieve the way it looked in demo of intranet. Let me read your lined on the latest reply and try to do exactly what you suggested. Also i am using the plugins you guys suggested (user role editor, wp document revision & buddydrive with buddypress & bbpress)

Main problem with Wordpress sites nowadays… Trust me we’re making anything we can to improve the performances… A lot done, and a lot to come. We have been in touch with some customers for that and we decrease it to < 2 sec. It depends on you server location, CDN, cache…

Yes you can create as many pages as you like and set them as “private” or “public”. If the visitor isn’t logged he’ll find a login icon in the top bar

I have a client who wants a very basic Intranet developed and am looking into buying Woffice for their needs. Just a few pre-sales questions before purchasing:
1) Is it possible for each employee not to be able to edit their profile information as this will be managed by HR?
2) Would it be possible to send out a styled monthly newsletter?
3) The possibility of sending email notifications when there’s a new event, announcement, news etc. posted?
4) Can recurring events be created to show up in the calendar and can an email notification be sent out to users x days before the event?
5) Can the following documents be uploaded to the file manager: – PDF – Word – Excel – Visio Diagrams
6) Can some of the documents be restricted to specific users and is there a possibility for documents to go through an approval process (draft/approved/published)?

Seems to be the good tool for that.
1. It’s not an option in the theme and in Buddypress. But yes it’s possible : 1) Hide the edit tabs with some CSS so no one can reach them 2) Remove the edit tabs by PHP. In both ways, it’s really easy to achieve it.
2. You can pick one other 100+ free plugins for that. I’d recommend that one : https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter/
3. Here is a good free one : https://wordpress.org/plugins/notify-users-e-mail/ but there is more available.
4. Yes, you can do that with EventON plugin (which is included) but you might take a look on their addons : http://www.myeventon.com/addons/
5. Yes, no problem.
6. Yes you can do that, but if it’s not enough you should try this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-document-revisions/ as it was built for that.
So a lot of plugins here .. But yes it’s possible and though pretty easy to achieve as most of these plugins are documented and free.

Hello, I am somehow stuck in the area where i want to create a group of 2 set of users to exchange files & discussions. When i create a Sub-Admin with role set to create user & manage them, when i log in as sub admin none of the functions comes up. Am i doing wrong here?

Interesting project here !
We have a feature call “Blog frontend creation”. It’s pretty easy, you select some roles (like subscriber, doctor or any kind of users). These selected role will find a “Create a new blog post” button on the main blog page. So yes they can create new article without accessing the Wordpress backend. By default, the new posts are published but it’s really easy (we can help you for that) to make it as a “draft”, so it needs an admin to review it before publishing it.
Also, the post created are by default accessible to all the members, but you’ll find some options to change that in the post’s edit page.

Yes, it should be as we already have some customers using it but I’ve never tried by myself. Therefore, there isn’t any custom CSS from our side about this plugin.
Could you add them, as you’ve mentioned in your previous reply?
