Hi, have you completely got rid of your proprietary shortcodes for layout and now fully utilise VC? Thanks
absolutely not, why would I do that? I wouldn’t want my theme to be totally dependent on a third party plugin which I have no control over, as a matter of fact the two theme demo sites were built without any use of Visual Composer, just to demonstrate what could be accomplished just with the core theme.

Alright, only asked. Because you’ve listed Visual Composer as one of the 5 USP’s of this theme in the main promo image at the top of the sales page? Because it’s hugely popular, extensible and powerful?
Yes, it’s a great plugin and a great addition to any theme, however I would like to keep it optional to the theme, not everyone likes to use it. Keep in mind that any drag-and-drop visual design solution would add more to the markup, which ultimately leads to slower page loads, etc. so it’s a trade off, a more advanced user would probably not choose to rely on a plugin like this to build their WP site, so it’s good to give that option as well

Hi Andon – First of all, we love this template! It works great and we have built 3 unique/beautiful websites with it. Great job!
My questions is in regards to my staging environment. I recently set up a staging environment for one of the sites and would like to test the latest upgrade to the UDesign template there. Do I need to purchase another license for the staging environment? The staging environment is only used for testing and not available to any outside users.

How does the auto update work? I input username and API and there are no instructions or buttons?

YOu need to update your instructions/package with Demo Content import… not make us find it later on your forums. You instructions talk about setting it to a static Home Page page… which does not exist unless content is imported. Very frustrating that people have saying this for 4 years.

I have a few questions before buying this theme: 1) On the Right side of the Header I’d like to have three rows of various information, vertically. – Small Menu (like phone no, address) – Social Media Icons – Email Sign up. -Not necessary but preferred
All of the three need to be in the header section, on the right side. Is this possible?
2) Is it possible to add a additional footer section right after the Footer widgets but before the Copyright section at the bottom? I’d like to add info like address and legal rights information in this area.
3) My client operates three different business units under one URL. I need to have a different logo for each unit. is this possible?

1 ) Depends how much width this whole section you need it to be, can you show me examples, feel free to email me directly. You can send me an email through my Profile page.
2 ) Yes, for something like that you may use the theme’s hooks/filters API and a “child” theme, we have tons of usage examples in the support forum and we can help of course.
3 ) Sure, you could load different logos on per page basis with custom CSS, we can also show you that or point you to examples.

not sure why, keep in mind the Envato username is case-sensitive, so make sure you enter BarcodesWest_01 as the Envato username.

My company is using the template XGrid for our blog papge and when I contacted the help desk, they suggested I come here. So I do hope I am in the right spot.
We are having some issues with our blog and we are hoping to fix it ASAP. Right now, our blog is in long form and we would rather it be short snapshots of each blog so that more of our content is accessible to our readers.

So uh whats the trick to getting the blog to show on blog page? Switch themes, there it is – switch to Udesign. Gone. Blog index absolutely blank. Same question as guy above me??? Wheres the the top bar???

Can you please let me know where to edit the top bar? I mean the 3 section on the top bar? 1st section can be edited by menu section but where to edit the rest two “Phone and Email” & “Social Media links”? Also can we switch it off this section if we want?

Visual Composer plugin, broken wordpress and the website. I Install UDesign in estacioncreacion.com but wordpress not work, for example i cannot login via http://estacioncreacion.com/wp-admin/ give me a white-page, via ftp I deactivate some plugins and the plugin that give problem is js_composer. My website have the last wordpress version.
