You are using an old version of our theme (1.4.1) and the latest version for the moment is (1.8), please update theme first.

For the portfolio items I use the ‘side portfolio’ item type. The ‘Read More Tag’ in the text field does not work. How can I enable this tag? On a mobile phone there appears a lot of text before the images and I want to change that, so that the images come first. Judith

I know what you mean here, actually Read more is only supported for posts in our theme and not for portfolio items. Item description is not used on portfolio loop pages so thats why we didn’t handled this “more” tag.
Also, when you are in single portfolio page, that will not take effect because wordpress ignores it and shows the full text.

Hi, the reason I wanted to use this, is that on a mobile phone there is a lot of text to scroll down before the images appear. On this website the images are more importent to show then the text. Is there another way tot show the image first and than the text? I use the ‘side portfolio’ item type for the single portfolio page, on the desktop that works very nice. Judith

Portfolio items only appear when they have featured image, so please add featured image for your items and they will appear in your portfolio page.

I don’t know how to set video as featured image for blog as shown in your demo. I did the following: create post – type: video – Add media from url: Youtube link. The video appears under the h1 and it is not showing up in the masonry posts.
This happens with Youtube only, Vimeo shows up o.k.

The error logo unchanged. In the Theme settings, but uploading a new logo, As the slide is running discard changes to the existing logo.

That logo it’s on Revolution Slider, by watching this video, you can learn how to remove that. (video is made with the last version of RS, but i think that you will not have problem to find that place on the new layout)

I cannot enable the full width despite selecting “Full Width” in the theme options. Do you have suggestions?
In case it matters, I also had trouble enabling the feature image to show at all. Only a blank grey box appeared until I added your custom code from this support board.

I had already set the theme level option for full width, but it didn’t trigger unless I set the “Full Width” on the post level. Seems like a bug?

Also I’m wondering If theres a way to put icons in the “services” checklist on the individual portfolio page?
I was able to write in HTML for this one. Just put it all in minify type writing and it worked. I was not however able to do that with the zig zag description as it’s counting it as visually writing instead of text writing. Any ideas?

To add an icon in services checklist simply use this syntax:

Where {icon-class} can be found in this reference:

The same form can be used on Zig Zag portfolio item type.

Hello, a question: when i upload a featured image in a blogpost the image is shown darker in the media library and in the thumbs in the masonry blog. When i add a image that is uploaded in ‘media’ the colors are correct.

Hello, i found the problem: if an image is not srgb (adobe rgb or profit rgb) this issue happens. Never seen this before. The original image size match the color, the thumbs not. For now i edit the image profile.

Yes, but it’s a strange bug. It means that for every image the profile needs to be checked and/or changed. For me this is not a big thing but for my customer who does not have any knowledge about profiles it’s a problem.

Apologies if this is a redundant post.
I’m using a Kalium Child Theme, and I’ve found that my CSS (added on the WP Custom CSS page) is very sensitive to the order of attributes, to the point that some Rule Sets have no effect if they’re placed below others. I’ve been wondering if anyone else has had this issue; I’ve never run into this with a style sheet before. I also have to follow every declaration with !important for them to have any effect.
Additionally, I’m using the following Rules to style the header links:
header.main-header { font-family: ‘Open Sans Condensed’, Raleway, Sans-serif !important; font-size: 18px !important; letter-spacing: 1px !important; }
header.main-header.sticky-active { font-family: ‘Open Sans Condensed’, Raleway, Sans-serif !important; font-size: 16px !important; letter-spacing: 1px !important; }
All the Declarations are effective, except font-size, and I can’t figure out why.

The issue with “ordering” css rules is because we use “Less” css compiler to create the CSS, so this way we style each element specifically. In order to not set an ”!important” declaration for each rule you must firstly open Inspect Element and see which one is the last rule applied to current element, then copy that CSS and apply with your own new value.
I suggest you to put Custom CSS in admin menu link, not in Appearance > Editor (style.css)
As for font size, please apply that rule to the full path of element, because in your case it is very general rule:
header.main-header.sticky-active {...}
Instead do this form:
header.main-header.sticky-active ul li a {...}
This will work for you.

Slider Revolution Issue
I have slide show named ‘hot slide show’ on my hompage, created by Slider Revolution. The problem is that it says” Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias ‘hot slide show’not found.

You may be mistakenly typing the slider alias so make sure you are copying the slider shortcode from this field:

Good afternoon, When updating the theme I saw that the tags have been removed and although not shown in the portfolio used for taxonomy. I have pages created to show only projects involving the specified tag, but no longer works for me. Sure you can enable tags again, I just made them hidden, please copy this code to bring them back:
remove_filter( 'portfolioposttype_tag_args', 'portfolioposttype_tag_args_remove_tags_column' );
Add it to functions.php file (in the end), it should work fine.

This problem does not seem to appear in our demo sites that’s why it seems strange, I see in the error console there is an error with fonts something, are you using any custom font and that may be the problem that these icons aren’t working properly.
