Hey Swami, since a few weeks back none of the CSS animation on my site work anymore. I’ve already updated the theme, deactivated all plugings (except Page Builder), but there’s no change. Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
http://www.imanuel-thallinger.comHi,
Do you mean to ask about the load animations ? Can you have your url, wp-admin id and password send via the contact form in the Support tab so I can try this and check what might be causing the issue?
Thanks, Swami
Hello Swami,
Is there a way to add directional arrows or at least pagination dots to the client carousel? Here is my page: http://boomshoal.com. My client carousel is located at the bottom of the page. Thanks!
Hi Swami,
Have you had a chance to take a look at this?
Hi,
Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to add arrows/dots in the Client Carousel on bigger screen sizes. I am sorry about that. We have enabled Pagination dots in smaller screens though. We will try and incorporate an option to add arrows in our future updates.
Thanks, Swami
How do i change the logo in the logo strip bar on the left? the div id is logo-strip-bar
Hi,
The option to upload the Image in the Strip can be found in the options panel under OSHINE OPTIONS > LET HEADER SETTINGS.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami,
Question regarding the mobile version. I have two websites with the Oshine theme.
1) SergioGarciaStudios.com
a) On the mobile version, when I am looking at it only iPhone 6plus and iPad, you see my logo on top left and then the 3 lined drop down menu. You click on dropbox menu and my different tabs appear.
The problem is that when you try and click on one of my tabs that has sub folders (like “fashion” and “personal” tab) nothing happens and the dropdown menu disappears.
In order to get it to drop down, you have to click the little ”+” by the parent tab and then it will dropdown to reveal the sub folders (fashion -> men or fashion -> women). Now the issue isn’t that of a problem but if you’re dealing with technologically challenged users who don’t understand, I can see where they would get frustrated at this and leave the site all together.
Is there a way to get the sub-drop down menus to drop by just clicking the parent name and not having to click the ”+” sign? Do you know what is causing this?
b) When I try to view any of my portfolios and click to enlarge the image, the page starts to automatically reload and a tab appears saying "a problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded" and it reloads 2-3 times. At times the page doesn't load at all and I get a white page saying "a problem repeatedly occurred on "http://www.sergiogarciastudios.com/portfolio/whatever the portfolio name is".
2) SergioGarciaHeadshots.com
a) Everything works fine with this site besides the same issue explained above in 1a. I am using a different portfolio viewer on this site and I don't have the issue that I explained above in 1b, so maybe the portfolio viewing type I have on site 1 is the issue to why it keeps reloading?
Lastly, on both sites home page I am using a background image. Looks great on desktop version but on mobile version it cuts the image weird almost like it’s not resizing them for mobile. Any fix for this?
Thanks for your time.
Hi Sergio,
1. This is a common implementation in a number of other themes and not just oshine, where you have to specifically click on the dropdown icon to open sub menu. This is because, user have the option to link the parent menu to a different page and not just have it as # ( non-link). We will try to use some detection mechanism to overcome this limitation in an upcoming update, but currently this is how we have designed it.
2. I checked your site and I can see some some javascript errors in the page. Its probably because of the minification and caching you have setup. I would recommend disabling 3rd party plugins, clear the cache generated by your caching plugin, then clear your browsers cache and try again. If you had updated the theme / BE page builder plugin recently, then clearing cache is a must.
3. I see that you have set the background images for the Page Builder section and you have set huge top and bottom padding values for it, which are basically used in mobile dimensions alone since you have a full screen section enabled for desktops. So kindly edit the page builder section and set the top and bottom padding values to about 240 each which should be sufficient for mobile devices. Alternatively you can use the Master Slider / Revolution Slider plugins and create a Full Screen Slider with just a single slide using them. The plugins usually ensure the slides always occupy the full screen irrespective of the screen size, unlike the page builder section where the height in mobile devices is set to the height of the content in the section, plus the top and bottom padding values.
Thanks. Swami
Hi big issue with BE Page Builder v4.0.1. it totally breaks the display of portfolio templates. Images display vertically on horizontal carousel and it’s impossible to scroll
Reverting to 4.0 fixes portfolio templates but you get the google api issue.
Can you fix asap?
wp_register_script( 'map-api', 'https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js', array(), FALSE, TRUE );fixes the api issue.
but the problem with BE Page Builder v4.0.1 breaking portfolio remains
Hi,
Kindly ensure you are using the latest version of the theme as well. I think you have an outdated copy of the theme, because the google maps api issue was fixed several months ago. If you have oshine 4.0 and Be Page builder 4.0.1, you wouldn’t these issues with the portfolio items.
Thanks, Swami
Hello Swami,
when i click on portfolio categorys i get the following error message:
Warning: array_map() [function.array-map]: Argument #2 should be an array in /www/htdocs/w00d3c8a/joonu2/responsive2/wordpress/wp-includes/category-template.php on line 1158
you can see it here:
http://joonu.de/portfolio_categories/landschaft/I disable the WP_DEBUG mode to false in the wp-config.php file. But it does not work.
Cheers
Thorsten
Hi Thorsten,
This is a issue in the current wordpress version 4.4. The patch for this should be available soon as per developers at wordpress. You can verify this here – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-44-master-list and also about the fix here- https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/34723 .
Meanwhile, to have the warning messages hidden, can add this line of code to the wp-config.php in addition to wp_debug set to ‘false’
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
Thanks, Swami
HEllo,
I need to add sidebar module to Be Page Builder. OR Need to add widgets to the Be Page Builder. Cab you please help me to solve this issue.
Thank you
Hi,
It is not possible to create sidebar widget areas in the Page Builder. The page builder content will only be displayed in the content area and you can use the Modules we have built into it. If you would like to use widgets, you will have to set the Page Template as “Page with Sidebar”. Then in the Sidebar Layout settings meta box, set the sidebar location. By default the Default Widget area in APPEARANCES -> WIDGETS will be brought here. You can also assign a custom widget area which you can create by going to OSHINE OPTIONS -> GLOBAL SITE LAYOUT settings section.
By the way I don’t see a purchased tag next your username. Kindly verify purchase by contacting us from the account in which you purchased the theme in order to receive further support.
Thanks, Swami
Hi, I’m using the left fixed sidebar portfolio & was wondering if there’s a way to insert a video (mp4, mov) into the slider images that autoplays. The non-optimized animated GIFs I’m working with now are crazy big, almost 30MB & the loss of quality after optimizing is not ideal.
WIP: http://danielleriley.me/portfolio/contour
Is there any way to embed videos in the slider images, since autoplay/looping code can be inserted there? Or is there a way using an image with a link to the Vimeo/YouTube video can autoplays & loops?
Another question: I read in previous comments that rearranging portfolio items is something that may be incorporated into the theme soon. Any idea when that update might go live?
Hi,
You can link the image that you are adding under Slider Images to the Youtube/Vimeo video by adding the video link in the Image’s Media Library property. By linking the image to the video, and adding that image under Slider Images, the video will show up in the Page. However there isn’t an option to get the video to AutoPlay.
Unfortunately, we do not have a time on when this will be available. In the meantime, you can use the Post Types Order to re order the items.
Thanks, Swami
Okay, thanks for the info!
One more question: For some reason not all of my categories are appearing on the portfolio page. Any idea why that might be? All the categories are parent/top level, so they’re not living within each other, if that makes sense.
Categories screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50011833/Screen%20Shot%202016-01-06%20at%209.31.21%20AM.png
Portfolio screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50011833/Screen%20Shot%202016-01-06%20at%209.52.43%20AM.png
Hi,
The Portfolio Filters will fetch only the Categories, to which there is at least one item linked to, and if that Category is chosen in the Portfolio Module. Please check this, and let me know if the issue still persists.
Thanks, Swami
Ah, I hadn’t updated the Portfolio Module. All fixed now. Thanks so much!
Hi Swami,
I think I have found a Oshine 4.0 bug which I didn’t have on the 3.x version of the theme. I’m using the BE Image Slider on my homepage and sometimes, Safari won’t display the first image in full height. Sometimes I see the same behaviour on my iPad.
I just tested with Chrome and after a refresh, I’m seeing the same thing. So it’s not a Safari issue. Haven’t tested with Firefox and IE.
Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/ibfKy8gy Website: http://www.franklenaerts.be
As soon as the slider goes to the second picture, the height is okay. It only happens on the initial load of the page.
Thanks for looking into this!
Best regards, Frank
Hi Frank,
This issue on the Image Slider does not occur in my test sites. Can you email me your URL, wp-admin id and password via the contact form in the support tab, so I can identify the issue.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami,
Thanks for the feedback!
I have tested the issue further and it seems it only happens on OS X macs and my iPad. On my Windows laptop, I can’t reproduce the issue.
Do you still a login to the site?
Best regards, Frank
Hi Frank,
I use a Mac myself and have tested it in a normal as well as retina mac book pro and the slider loads with a full height. Please see screenshots here. I tested in chrome, safari and firefox.

Thanks, Swami
Hi. I use latest version of OSH?NE. I create a custom sidebar. But i cant choose my custom sidebar from Page Sidebar Options. Because there is no “sidebar” area in here, which i can choose my custom sidebar. There is just “page sidebar layout” area. PS: Themes previous versions got this options, but not now.
Hi,
Yes i see that this field is missing in the latest theme version. We will fix this issue and patch the fix in a minor update to the theme very soon. Appreciate your patience and apologies about the issue.
Thanks, Swami
According to the Knowledge Base: “If the version of the theme is lower than Oshine 1.9, you will not have the One Click Update feature.”
The theme version I’m using now is 3.1; however, I do not see the “one click update feature” when I navigate to APPEARANCES > THEMES and click on Oshin Thumbnail. Please advise.
Hi,
Can you please check if you have entered the Purchase Code under APPEARANCES > OSHIN PURCHASE CODE option? The Notification about the available updates will be shown only if the valid purchase code in entered. The instructions on how to find the purchase code is give in the same article in the Knowledge base.
If the notification did not pop up even upon entering the purchase code , it is likely that is was a server issue as we were facing some Server Downtime at our next the day before yesterday. The issue was fixed in few hours and you should try this now.
Thanks, Swami
Would be amazing if you write within the theme what we have to do (especially in the section “import demo content”...)
Hi,
I am sorry about the issues that you are facing while importing the demo content. Are you getting any error message while importing the content? If so have you check if the issue is because of the Server Limitation? The server requirement for the theme is given in this article – www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/server-requirements/ .
If this does not help you import the content, please have your URL, wo-admin id and password sent via the private message form in the Support Tab so I can try importing the content from my end.
Thanks, Swami
well, something showed up now, other pix than in your example page, but better than nothing. And I found out that I have to choose “gallery” page to get that. I was looking for some sort of slider… Very nice theme, but some descriptions/tutorials could be more clear. thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. The images used in the demo are licensed and have been replaced by other free to use images in the sample content. This has been mentioned in our item details page. We are working on an improved sample content, in the near future we will be using blurred versions of the images from the actual demo, which have small file sizes and can be imported quickly in most servers.
By the way, all the sample sliders used in the demo are already included in the theme package and can be imported in to the master slider / rev slider plugins based on the demo you are using.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami,
after testing your theme some time ago (thanks again for giving me the possibility) I bought it some days ago.
There are already some things I noticed while using it that you may or may not want to fix (I will add more in case I find more):
1) Editing text block content in BE Page Builder doesn’t work if you disable WYSIWYG for the user. This however seems to make sense because the WYSIWYG editor omits some parts of my HTML code and therefore breaks it. Can you make BE Page Builder work if WYSIWYG is disabled?
2) If you wrap your page in a border, make the menu display on top (above page content) and make the page a full screen section, there is a scrollbar even though not neccessary. If the menu is part of the page content there is no scrollbar (which is correct).
Best Regards
One more:
3) It seems like the “Copy” function in BE Page Builder is broken. I would assume that something goes to the clipboard, am I wrong? I am not able to paste anything afterwards.
Hi,
1. Unfortunately, most of the modules in the Page Builder are dependent on the WYSIWYG editor and the visual mode is required for making the formatting changes. You can use the Text Mode in cases where you need to enter the HTML code in the Page Builder. I will however to test this thoroughly from my end, before including the option to make page builder work even on disabling the visual editor.
2. Can you give me a link to the site, so I can check this.
3. I am unable to recreate this scenario in any of my test sites. Can you have your URL, wp-admin id and password sent via the contact form in the support tab so I can look into this.
Thanks, Swami
1) I had issues with onclick events for a-tags. I’ve allowed it via the child theme now, so I do have a workaround. If you can make it work it could still be a benefit
.
2) You can see the same thing in one of your demo pages. I’m just unable to find it at this moment :-/. If you follow my steps you should be able to reproduce. Aren’t you?
3) Unfortunately not at the moment since everything is still under contruction and not available to the public www. But am I wrong in assuming that this function will write the shortcode to the clipboard?
Hi,
We will look into the issue with the Scrollbar and patch the fix if required in the theme update. Yes, the copy functionality will copy the shortcode to the Clipboard, and you will set a Notification that says ‘Copied to Clipboard’. Please give me the details once your site is ready and I will look into this issue for you.
Thanks, Swami
Sounds fair. Thank you so far!
One more thing: I would like to deactivate the share buttons in PhotoSwipe. Your documentation doesn’t talk about options to do so. What would be the recommended way to do it. Coding would be fine for me as an options. I do use the child theme if that helps.
After reviewing your code I guess it’s not possible without modifying be-modules-script.js, adding options.shareEl = false; in line 557. I’ve done that for now but it also mean that I have to redo it every time this file is updated. Let me know if you can suggest a more elegant way. Thanks!
Found another bug:
If you’re on a mobile device or if you simply make the browser smaller (x-dimension), the mobile menu controller appears and replaces the menu items normally shown. If you expand it, you can see an “x” to close it (class menu-controls mobile-nav-controller). However, it’s behind (z-index is lower) the menu (class mobile-menu) so you cannot click and close it. In addition, it lookes weired in my case where the menu has 4 mainmenu points and the first one has 4 submenu points. So if I expand the mobile menu, I can see an “X” that I cannot click, then I do see the right side header widgets (where I currently have one icon) and then the expand button for the first main menu item.
Suggestion: 1) Hide the right side header widgets if the menu is expanded 2) display the expand icon first, then the “x” (close) icon. 3) In fact I really would like to see the left side header widget to be displayed as long as the mobile menu is collapsed, any chance?
Let me know if you need more information. I could offer a Skype session to show you. Simply let me know how I can reach you.
And another bug: If you make a full screen section and take your iPad vertically to display it, it is not displayed as a full screen section. The background image specified for the full screen section only takes 3 times the header height. The remaining page is blank. This happens as soon as the mobile menu kicks in.
I would need to have fixes for those two issues rather soon since I consider them to be critical for the golive. What date could you offer?
As always: Thank you in advance.
One more: BE Page Builder 4.0.2 is corrupted. After upgrading the whole page is dead. I do see the header but the content area is gone. I do see however 6 theme highlight color colored boxes in the upper left corner. 4 in the first row, 2 more in the row after. I had to uninstall 4.0.2 and reinstall it via the packaged version. This fixed the issue for me. Since this was reported by other users as well you might already be aware.
Hi,
We have released an update to resolve this problem. Kindly update the BE Page Builder to version 4.0.5. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Thanks, Swami
4.0.5 seems to resolve the issue. Thank you. You might want to test your updates before deploying them
.
It seems like you have missed my previous 3 comments. Please revisit them and let me know your thoughts.
Hi,
We always test our updates on our live server, scan all our demos, before deploying an update. And more over this was a very minor update with just a couple of lines in the backend css compared to the previous version. The problem this time was not with the code but because of zip archiver script that creates the archive of the plugin from our test setup and makes it available for users to update. Upon inspection we found that one of files in the zip only had partial data and looks like the rest got lost during compression. Quite weird and has never happened before. Apologies once again for the inconvenience caused.
Thanks, Swami
We have just been overloaded with support today. I will look into your 3 points and address them tomorrow.
Thanks, Swami
Sounds great. Looking forward to that.
Hi,
1. Regarding the Mobile Menu icon, do you mean to say that you are not able to click and close the Menu Icon once you open it? We have tested the Mobile Menu Icon in our test and demo sites, and we are able to open and also close it even in the presence of the header widgets and right sliding bar. If you want to look into your site, please give me the URL, wp-admin id and password, so I can log in and check this. I hope you have hosted the site now. You can send the credentials via the contact form in the support tab.
2. The way Full Screen Sections work is – In desktops/larger screens, the section will occupy the full screen (height and width). As the screen size scales down to mobile/tablet dimension , the height of the section will no longer be set based on the height of the screen, but will take the height according to the content in that particular section. This is to ensure that the content is not cut short , as the device height reduces.
Thanks, Swami
1) I see what you’re saying now. The behaviour on your demo sites is different and works great. Unfortunately this is not how it is on my site. The mobile menu always opens in the upper left corner at top:0px, left:0px. This is how you can reproduce it: make your header style2 and disable the logo. Once the mobile menu appears you’ll notice that is is in a wrong position. Once you enable the logo everything is back to normal. However, I don’t want a logo. I’d like to use Text1 in Widget area “left”. The page is online now but still locked down from public access. Can we have a Skype session to sort this out if you need further input?
2) If that is the way it works, could you please advise me on how I can make one single image the background image indipendant of the client size? I can’t make this work if full screen sections are not taking a full screen on mobile devises.
Hi,
1. Unfortunately, we do not offer support via Skype. I am sorry about that. You can contact us with the details via the contact form, which is NOT public. The details will be sent directly to us, and not be visible to others.
2. You can set the ‘Top’ and ‘Bottom’ padding of that section in the section’s settings. For Full Screen Sections, in mobile devices, this padding is applied. You can set a value to ensure that a significant amount of background image is visible.
Thanks, Swami
1) Now that I gave you the details on how to reproduce it on any site Skype is no longer required anyhow. This was just an offer. Could you fix that bug in the theme?
2) This doesn’t seem to be a good solution since I need different heights on different devices and I don’t want to have a scrollbar on this page. Isn’t there a better solution?
Hi,
1. Please use the css code below to fix the issue with the mobile menu while using the style2 header -
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
.style2 #header-wrap{
min-height: 60px;
}
}
You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under oshine options > general settings.
2. I get it, Unfortunately, no. There ins’t an option to set the height dynamically different for different device. I am so sorry about that. I suggest you hire a developer who will be able to modify the code in a way the the full screen height logic is retained in all screen sizes.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami,
sorry for the late reply. I wasn’t able to continue with this until today. I’ve actually already fixed it the way you have suggested. Only difference: max-width needs to be 960, not 767. Otherwise it would be broken between 767 and 960.
Regarding the dynamic height issue on mobile devices: I’ve fixed that now via the child theme. Not sure why you’re not doing the same. I personally like it better this way
.
Two more questions: 1) If I place an image as background image in the header hero section options and make it “fixed”, why is the image displayed zoomed differently as compared to the option “scroll”?
2) On galleries with infinite scroll: Once you reach the end of the page, the page starts to load additional images. First it reserves some space for the new pictures (basically white space) and then the images are displayed. There is quite a delay of up to 5 seconds before the images are displayed. Is this on purpose or could it be fixed somehow? This issue is not related to bandwidth (just in case you would assume that ;-)).
Hi,
1. Does this happen even when you have the ‘Scale Image to occupy’. If you can give me a link to your site, or send me the image that you are using on your site, i will test once again and let you know if at all there is any difference?
2. Yes the loading will take a while after the space for the new elements are created. This is how the script works and the size of your images also might contribute to the time it takes to load. Ensure that all the images are optimized in size for faster loading, which i am sure you would have taken care of already.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami,
1) I’ve just sent you the URL and the details via the contact form. The Scale option is on.
2) I don’t think that there is anything else from my side I could do. You might want to look into it while checking issue 1.
Hi,
Responded to your email. We can take from there.
Thanks, Swami
Hi,
Apologies about that. We were experiencing a temporary Server Issue and it is been resolved now. The sites are now up. You may also want to check out our new knowledge base here – www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/ .
Thanks, Swami
Thank you so much!
I checked my ‘wp-config.php’ file and ‘WP_DEBUG’ is set to ‘false’... define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
When I click the “Load More” button on my portfolio page I still get the following error message:
Warning: array_map(): Argument #2 should be an array in /home/jeremysparker/jeremysparker.com/wp-includes/category-template.php on line 1158
Can you please help me with this?
You can view my portfolio here: http://jeremysparker.com/portfolio Click the ‘Load More’ button to see the error
Responded to the older thread about the same question.
Thanks, Swami
I’ve just finished making all of my pages/portfolios, and now my Margins of all Masonry Galleries, and Portfolios are thrown off.. Some Vertical margins are very big, and other times the images are overlapping each other.. please help
I would really love some attention for this issue. – thanks so much..
Hi,
Our support team will address all the support questions first thing tomorrow morning, as it is still Sunday night here. Please have the link to your site sent so we can check the issue and get back with a resolution.
Thanks, Swami
awesome, thanks so much.. you can see the issue here. – http://michaeldavidadams.com/fashion/
Hi,
I see that you are having a couple of 3rd party plugins (like jetpack, instagram etc) in the site, which might be disrupting the portfolio grid. Can you disable all the plugins and try loading the grid once again, to ensure that the issue is not due to the conflict with the plugins please?
Let me know if the issue persists.
Thanks, Swami
thanks so much.. I did do that before but for some reason it didn’t fix it, maybe a cache issue.. – did it again, and found the offender.. – “Speed booster Pack” – Which leads me to the Issue on why I installed that in the first place.. - When you have a Portfolio Page loaded, and click on one of the Filters, the page seems to stall out for a little bit and becomes unresponsive.. – Do you know why this is happening? – On the Fashion page, it does it the most.
- Another issue. (Since we are communicating) A bounce/flicker of the webpage when the Sticky Menu activates..
Hi,
I have tested the page http://michaeldavidadams.com/fashion/ for the filter issue multiple times, and the filters seems to function well and the page does not get un-responsive. Also the Sticky Header seems to be smooth. Can you try this once again, and if the issue persists, please send me a screenshot and also let me know in which device and browser you are facing this.
Thanks, Swami
thanks for checking.. the lag on filters seems like it’s a Firefox issue., but the jitter/jump from the Sticky header seems to be on Firefox and Chrome, and Safari
Hi,
Apologies about the delay in my response. I will have to re-create this scenario in my test site and will apply the appropriate fix in the upcoming updates. Appreciate your patience. To fix the jerk in the meanwhile, you can set the top padding to the ‘Section’ in Page Builder as ‘0’ .
Thanks, Swami
The woo commerce shop isn’t reading the default color scheme for the theme is there an easy way to fix this?
Hi,
Can you give me a link to your site where I can see what the issue is and also mention which section does not sync with the color scheme, so i can see if there is a fix that is required?
Thanks, Swami
I added a bunch of custom css but I think it’s slowing down the site. it would be great if there were a simpler way to fix this.
also when I view the site on a mobile device there are a lot of elements that get cut off or stuck together (like the pricing table in the membership area) and the cart looks unreadable on mobile (also the “accept the terms and co” in the checkout area, is there a fix?
(reply to previous post previous post) I also want to hide the date, posted by and comments in the meta section of the blog and remove the background image, the path is https://thecellar.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/TheCellarWall.jpg for the blog section.
the website is www.thecellar.nl
Hi,
From the custom CSS code that you have added, i see that you have styles the Notification Boxes to match the color scheme. Unfortunately, there ins’t an option to set color to this, and custom css is the way out.
Apart from that, the other css codes are added to apply border to some of the fields in the Shop page and also the adjustment of width and positioning of the elemets. Such custom styling , again, should be added via CSS and we do not have option to style the form fields used in shop. We have added basic styling to the shop pages, so as to make them look inline with the theme’s design, and we have provided option to apply colors to the buttons used in the Shop Pages.
Please use the css code below to remove the meta data and BG image from the Blog Page -
body.blog{
background-image:none;
}
.blog .post-meta{
display: none;
}
MOBILE ISSUES -
1. The Pricing Table looks stuck to one other, because you have enabled the option ‘Zero Bottom Margin’ in the Row’s setting. This will be fixed if you disable the option.
2. The Cart page does look cluttered in mobile, but there isn’t much that we can do as the mark up structure provided by woocommerce does not give us a lot of options. You can probably reduce the Font Size a bit and choose to hide certain Columns(ex. product image) from the Table in Mobile devices, so that the content has more room.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami, thanks for the help. I seem to have another problem. I can’t get sections to be full-width. I want the the color of the section (as well as the image on the bottom red element) to go from edge to edge of the browser but for some reason I can’t get get rid of the spacing and I can’t find any options that would change this in the settings.
oops… forgot the link… have a look here, https://thecellar.nl/home-new/
scratch that, got it.
but how do you get the top section to get covered over when you scroll. so far I can get the background image to get covered up but the text doesn’t stay but follows the scroll.
Hello, there seems to be a bug. Every time I edit the settings in a row and click “save page builder” the update just hangs. And inserting an image in a text block nothing happens. Any work arounds?
Hi,
By Top Section, do you mean the ‘Header’. You need to ‘DISABLE’ the sticky header option so that the Header does not float as you scroll. This option can be found in the HEADER AND HERO sections metabox in the page.
Regarding the issue with the Page Builder, can you please send your URL , wp-admin id and password via the contact form in support tab so I can check the issue?
Thanks, Swami
Great work with the theme. A few questions: I have a background image for most of my site but I want a white one for the blog… Havn’t figured out how to do this. I also want to have an image right above the pricing tables… likes it’s poping out from behind but I can’t get rid of the spacing at the top. I also can’t get the menu bar to be translucent. how is this done.. so not invisible but not solid. I also want to get rid of the metadata for blog posts is there a short code for this?
Thanks
Hi,
1. Unfortunately, there ins’t an option to add a separate image to entire Blog page alone. However I can give you a custom CSS code. Please send me the link to your blog page, along with the path of the Image as well.
2. I am not sure how your page with the Pricing tables look like. Anyhow, to add just an Image above that, you can add a Page Builder Section, and add the Image as a BG to this Section in the Section’s Settings and set the Top and Bottom padding values accordingly. To remove the spacing on top, you can make the Top padding of the Section in which you have the Pricing table as ‘0’.
3. To make the Header Semi Transparent, you have to set the Header Style as ‘Semi Transparent’ in the Header and Hero Sections metabox. The option to set the color for this header is given under OSHINE OPTIONS > TOP HEADER SETTINGS > HEADER STYLES.
4. If you could list the Meta Information that you want to hide in your page, I can provide a custom CSS to hide them, as we do not have option to do that.
Thanks, Swami
Hi Swami,
First of all a happy 2016!
I see there’s an update of BE Page Builder to 4.0.1. If I update, WP tells me the plugin has been updated but as soon as I reload the page BE Page Builder is back to 4.0 with an update available.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards, Frank

Hi where can I change the text where it comes up on google the first 2 – 3 sentences? I can see that naming the page will come up as well as the general name but things underneath I cant seem to figure out. thanks
Hi,
To modify the text that appears on the search screen, you have to use some SEO plugins like SEO by Yoast and edit the meta description in there.
Thanks, Swami
