1. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to set the Sub Menu to open on top of the Main Menu Item. I am sorry about that. Alternatively you can set the option ’’ to ’’ so that the header will not be seen with the Hero Image. So you can scroll down to open the menu and view the sub menu options .

2. If you can set up all the menus and give me the link to your page, i will be able to get you some custom CSS code according to the length of the words, so that they fit in the screen.

Hi,

This is the Header Border. The setting to remove this is under OSHINE OPTIONS > TOP HEADER SETTINGS. You will notice that this is set to ‘solid’. You need to set the header border to ‘none’ and save the settings.

Anytime I add a Galler Or Portfolio shortcode to the PAGE BUILDER “TAB” Module… I only see jquery code after pasting the shortcode. If i preview the page the TAB with the gallery shortcode is empty. please fix

Hi,

Yes you can make your Portfolio Posts Password Protected. You need to set the Visibility of the post in the panel on the right side of the post’s page and set the password in the option there.

The easiest way to replicate a demo in your site, is to import the content of that particular demo, and start of by editing the images and content in the pages. Thank you for your help, I am all set and love your theme, I’ve been looking for such a great theme for quite some time!

One question, I have now managed with your help to set up a gallery homepage as per your template v2, however when I go back into the control panel the images for the gallery disappear, so I can not for example make another change on the page and then save, as then the gallery images are not saved so they disappear. I hope this makes sense.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your compliment and I am glad you are liking the theme.

The images that are displayed in the carousel, will be added to the Oshine – Gallery Template Options Metabox in the page under the Slider Images option. This metabox will be present beneath the Be Page Builder Section. Please ensure that you are looking at the right place. If this does not fix the issue, try disabling the ‘Metabox Conditional Logic’ plugin.

If both the suggestions do not work, kindly have your URL, wp-admin id and password sent via the contact form in the Support Tab.

I am glad you like the theme and find it apt for your portfolio.

1. I am not sure how you are adding the image in the hero section. You need to uploading the image to the Header and Hero Sections metabox in the corresponding page. If you could send me a snapshot of the error screen, i will be able to assist you accordingly.

2. The 404 problem looks like a permalink issue. Kindly go to SETTINGS ->PERMALINKS in your backend and set the permalinks to default style. Save the settings and then subsequently set it to POST NAME and save the settings again. This will refresh your htaccess file and will resolve any permalinks issue.

You can add the Instagram Widget in the Footer Widget Area and enable this in the Blog Page.

You can add the widget in Footer column 1 through 4 under Appearances > Widgets.

I think i might have figured it out. So am I to make a portfolio page for every image I want in my grid. Then make a shortcode portfolio on a PAGEbuilder and then it will show all my portfolios?

In that regard when I mke my portfolios on wordpress can I have one featured image and then multiple images within in a certain way that viewers can see them?

In essence I would like to create a portfolio main page that looks like this http://brandexponents.com/oshin/v3/portfolio/ and then when viewers click on the image it links them to a gallery page http://brandexponents.com/oshin/v3/portfolio/gallery/

Am I on the right track or how can I do it?

Yes, that is what the Portfolio Post Type is primarily made for.

You have to create each of your images / collections as one Portfolio Item each, and add the related image within the respective portfolio item.

To have each of your items open to a page like the sample, you need to choose the Single Portfolio Style as ‘Single Page – Page Builder’ in the Portfolio Options metabox. Add the Images (in the grid) using the Gallery Module in the Page Builder section of each of the Portfolio Post Item.

1. This space should be either due to the bottom padding in your last section, that you can remove by making the bottom padding of the section to 0px. If this does not seem to be the reason, it will be the comments area in the page, that you can remove, by adding the css code below in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS -

2. Yes you can do so. You need to go to Appearances > Menus > Manage Location tab , and remove the menu assignment made to ‘Sidebar Menu’ .

Great thank you – that comment area fix worked!

However, with the slidebar menu, I currently don’t have any menu assigned to it in the Menus > Manage Location tab. From what I can see, it is using the main menu navigation for some reason.

To be clear, I am talking about the pop-out ‘menu’ on the right-hand side that opens when you click the 3 bars icons. I want to have ONLY text in here, and remove any navigation (as the Oshine demo shows).

I will check why resetting the menu location does not reflect in your site. Meanwhile, you can use the css code below to hide the menu in the slidebar -

    display: none;
}

You need to paste the code in the custom css section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.

To add Text here, you need to add a Text Widget under APPEARANCES > WIDGETS , in the Slidebar Widget Area.

I mean, The artist Profile pictures, is there a shortcode to display a artist profile picture?

Unfortunately, there ins’t an option to do this. A simpler way to display the image, will be to add it using the text block module from the media library.

Hi,

The width that the video occupies is calculated based on the source basically. You can try and alter the source video for bigger dimensions, or you can use the CSS code below, that will stretch the video to occupy the full width of the container.

The CSS code did not work. When I use the CSS code, the video height is affected. See example HERE.

How can this be fixed so that the video width and height is the same as your demo?
