Hi, i’m quite interested in buying this theme… Just a few questions regarding the demo I like – Bridge Skin Care Demo – (Demo 79 – http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge79/ ):
1). Does the landing/home page gallery/slider display images at the native resolution, or does it resize all imagery to it’s own crop and resolution pre-specified? – I put a lot of effort into resizing imagery to look as sharp as possible, many images being 1024 wide for example, but many themes ignore this and resize the image, ruining quality.
2). On the homepage slider, can the image have no text or read more button, and have the image linked to a portfolio entry on that specific image, simply by clicking on the photo itself?
3). Is it possible to apply custom background patterns? And would that background be visible over the complete site or would it get broken up by theme functions etc…? I would like to go for a dark look using my current dark grey sandpaper pattern www.timwecke.com
4). Is it possible to make portfolio entries/posts display the image in the center, bigger (native resolution) with the text below the image? like such… http://www.timwecke.com/portfolio/7th-wonder-part-ii/
5). Does the theme have the ability to create a drop shadow behind any image? Specifically the main homepage slider/gallery?
6). Is it possible to set the opacity of the next and previous buttons on the home slider?
Otherwise, a fantastic theme – great job – The company I work for has bought this theme already for 3 of their websites and after seeing it’s potential I might need it for myself! Thanks for your time.

1. We used Layer Slider plugin for this page. It shows the image across the full width (without frame/passepartout ) but you can set desired width if you want, and in slider settings you can specify the desired height for it if you want. The images will resize responsively on smaller screens.
2. Yes, each photo inside layer slider can be a link, and you don’t need to use text and buttons over it of course. Also, note that we have portfolio slider element, that can display the slider of your portfolio items.
3. Yes, for each row you can set background pattern. You can also set it for entire body like on the site you pointed to!
4. Yes, you can use our Portfolio Big Image type (you can use one photo instead of three like we did on this demo) http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/portfolio_page/stockholm-fashion-destination/
5. Some elements like portfolio list, or Image Hover offer such a possibility yes.
6. Yes, it’s possible.

All those warnings and error are related to some plugin you’re using! (all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall) Please disable that plugin, since most likely it’s not compatible with latest version either of WordPress or theme.

Once you create desired pricing table on some page, you can switch to classic mode, and copy the shortcode for your pricing table, and paste it in classic mode of some other page, then return to Back-end editor and you will get this same pricing table copied.

Great theme! I’d like to show the Title and Subtitle on the portfolio. Currently, I see the title of each and have hidden the categories. Is it possible to show both the Title and Subtitle of a portfolio image?

If you’re referring to portfolio list, it can not display subtitle text. You could use a bit of shortcode modification, to display excerpt you enter for each item. Is possible to create a gallery grid style that has only one column? In settings> column number is only possible to select two or more columns. What I look for is to create four different galleries (similar to the home page) but with different sets of images each that can be displayed in lightbox.
I can do with Flex type (divided into four columns the row) but the gallery shows previous / next buttons that I do not need. Another option is to disable these buttons but there is no such option.
I hope I have explained well, my english is not good enough

Image Gallery – Image grid does not offer option to choose one column layout. You can however set two columns, and then apply css to make the width of the item in two columns layout a 100%.
That’s one option.
The same can be used for your second option you tried – using Flex slider. The navigation arrows can also be removed with css.
Third option would be to split a row into four column, and in each one to insert Single Image element.

We recommend adding it to Custom CSS field in Qode Options -> General, to be safe your css will remain saved when you update the theme.
Of course, you can add it in style.css file (wp-content/themes/bridge) or stylesheet.css file (wp-content/themes/bridge/css) but then you need to minimize that file and override the existing stylesheet.min.css in the same folder!

Thanks for the reply. I put some code in style.css but does not overwrite the original values of the css, that’s what I want to do. The reason for this is that, as I mentioned earlier, I prefer to edit css in a specialized editor and on the other hand to keep control of my own modifications without mixing with custom css found in the field of the template. Obviously I do not think it’s a good idea to write the parameter !important on each line. How can I do this?

Yes, understand. Sometimes, the !important parameter is necessary to override some default styles, while most of the time you just need to write precise (stronger) css selector to apply your styles.

As for the blockquote element icon – this is the default one. But it can be easily changed with a bit of css, ask our agents in your ticket for the css code for this.

You have used contact form 7 shortcode for this. You could either change the structure of your form fileds, to display two in a line, or apply some css to give your footer form fields smaller padding.

we are building a new website, but having issue with dropdown menu.
Problem is, that all menu sublevels are always open on dropdown.
From time to time, there are also problems with loading some elements (fullwidth image background, button animations, ...) We are using also Ultimate addons, but makes no differences when disable it.
Any idea how to solve this?
