1) There is a color picker in the text block module to select the color of the fonts. But it will be hidden by default. To show this click the button that is on the immediate right of the full screen button in the content area. This will enables a number of options including color picker.

2) In the short code for the social media icons, you will find an attribute called href set to nothing. Add the link there and make sure that the link is prefixed with http:// to inform wordpress that it’s an external link.

Hi,

It is simpler to hide the Second module from Desktop. Kindly add a CLASS to that row in the Page Builder. Edit the respective row, and enter a value in the option called ‘Row Class’ (ex. hide-desktop). Then use the css code below to hide it in desktop -

@media only screen and (min-width: 768px){
  .hide-desktop{
      display: none;
  }
}  

You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.

1) Apologies as the option to have a sticky header all the time is not possible.

2) Yes, it is possible to make the links of the social media icons open in a new tab. Kindly add the attribute new_tab= ”1” to the Icon shortcode. This will enable the links to open in a new tab.

Hi,

I visited almost all the pages in your site, and the Images (in carousel slider, text block, blogs, portfolio, sections) all seem to load just fine. There are a couple images that take a while to load though, like the Image in First Section in http://www.terihoffordphotography.com/vendors-we-love/ page, the reason is this image is too huge for web. It is 12.6 MB and the dimension is big as well. Kindly optimize all your images for good loading speeds and user experience. Let me know if I am overlooking something here.

All other pages that you see linked to the V13 demo belong to the Main Demo (v1) . We have separated the V13 home page into a separate demo to show case its unique “Scroll Jacking” feature.

To get the other pages, you can import the content of V1 demo as well, using the One Click Import under APPEARANCES > IMPORT DEMO CONTENT.

Can I achieve #2 with a BE slider or flex slider instead then? I really need the right arrows. The dots at the bottom is not good enough. Ideally I would love to have dots and arrows

The BE Image Slider (named as Flex Slider earlier) can have only Images and not Content.

You can try using the BE Slider. But this is a fixed height Slider i.e you have to enter the height of the Slider beforehand and each Slide should have an Image or Video BG over which the text will positioned, this makes is bit unfriendly for a “text” alone slider.

You can try if there are any Slider Templates in Master Slider Plugin, that offers you better choices.

I guess Ram didn’t understand the question properly. You just have to go to OSHINE OPTIONS -> TOP HEADER SETTINGS and turn OFF the Header Wrap setting. This way your header will take the full width of the screen.

Hi. I saw that it works when I build a Portfolio Grid (made of Portfolios times), but I can’t get the title nor any text if it is a Gallery. Please, how to have text overlay on Gallery images?

On the other hand, having some issues with the Portfolios… I need a mix of pictures and videos. I succeed with the pictures but don’t know how to make Portfolio item-video. I the Gallery, I associated a VIMEO link to the picture, but in Portfolio Grid I don’t see how include the videos links.

1. If you are using the GALLERY MODULE, then you unfortunately cannot have the title displayed over the image. If you would like the Title and Categories to be displayed over the images in the grid you would have to set up your grid as PORTFOLIOS. Comprehensive Instructions to setup portfolios are available in our knowledgebase here: http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/article-categories/portfolio/ In our next ( upcoming ) update we would probably have an option to display titles with the gallery module, a feature which has been requested often in recent times.

2. With regards to having a video associated with a Portfolio Thumbnail, all you need to do is choose the “SINGLE PORTFOLIO TYPE” as LIGHTBOX and then edit the featured image of the item in the media library and assign a youtube / vimeo video to it. (quite similar to associating a video with a gallery thumbnail)
