I don’t know how to control the order of the top menu, any time i add a page to the site automatically displays on the top menu. Is there any email i can send you, i would like to attach images,it would be easier i think. Thanks

If they are webfonts, simply download those files in wp-content/ folder for example font folder that contains css file named font-name.css should be uploaded as follows:

wp-content/font-name/font-name.css

Include the absolute URL in Typography > Custom Fonts URL and then enter font family name in the below field, and its done.

I don’t intend on having a “portfolio” page available to the public. Just a custom masonry portfolio on the homepage.

That’s really strange, we have just tested this locally and it’s working like charm, can you please disable any 3rd party plugins that you may be using and also disable the maintenance/coming soon mode so we can see it live.

Okay, I’ve deactivated all 3rd party plugins (they were only google analytics/SEO plugins) and took down the ‘coming soon’ page so that it is live. Still having issues with the portfolio pages.

This is not the first time I have developed a theme on this specific website/wordpress install… I’m wondering if it would be best to do a WP reset and start everything again from scratch.

So I did a WP reset and have gotten my website back to about where it was before… I’m still having trouble with the portfolio pages. They are displaying blank even though the feature image is showing up on the homepage.

It’s very bizarre. I’ve tried the Kalium theme on a separate wordpress install and the portfolio pages work. I’m really not sure why it is not working on the tschiegg domain.

2. If the site you are working now is the same on live server, then you don’t need to buy an additional license. Otherwise if you use Kalium for another site/domain/purpose then you need to purchase another license.

Random further question … any suggestions on the best way to add an email capture form in a modal from a portfolio post. Played around with loading a Formidable form via Easy Modal but it fails upon Submit. It closes the modal without the success message and weirdly removes portfolio images from the host page

Child theme can be installed only if the Main theme is installed before.

When you install both, then you can activate Child theme.

Hi again, I managed to do something like that using the Visual Composer plugin, with the ‘Portfolio Masonry’ element. The only thing I can’t manage is to make Titles visible. This element doesn’t give the option, despite other VC elements like ‘Portfolio Items’ does in the ‘Buil query’ button. Can you help me? I attach an image of the image of my homepage. Hi Mireia,

The problem with Masonry Portfolio is that it only works with fixed “Boxed Sizes” so it is not possible to add “dynamic” sizes in this case because the algorithm will not sort the items properly if they are not defined in fixed sizes. I have tried to achieve this in many ways but it didn’t resulted successfully so we have sticked only to fixed box sizes.

I have a problems with Lightbox issue because it works different depending on where are you clicking from. I want the Lightbox galleries of each protfolio project to open directly from the homepage, and to do it in the ‘Single Item’ mode.

A – If I click on a ‘Masonry Portfolio’ project (I mean, in thumbnail or title) the lightbox gallery opens directly, but it does it in the ‘Linked’ mode (it prev/next arrows continue through all portfolio items pictures).

B – In the other hand, if I click on a portfolio item in the side menu, a single portfolio page of that project opens, and then you can click in the image and open the Lightbox gallery (in this case, it opens in the ‘Single Item’ mode).

As I said, what I want is a “mix” between this two cases. What can I do?

A. Have you set the Navigation mode to “Linked” mode?

B. This makes sense. So let the Navigation Mode to “Linked”, and for side menu add this Custom JS:

The JS for the sidemenu it wordked, but as you told me just in portfolio page, not in the other ones as About or Contact.

For the Lightbox navigation, what I actually want is to set it in “Single Item”, but even if I set the Navigation mode to “Single Item” mode, in homepage it just keeps it in linked mode. I guess that it’s because I’m using a Visual Composer element to show the Portfolio Masonry.

Is it possible to cancell the “Linked” option so always will make it in the Single Item one? I’ve been looking in the lightgallery-all.js but I couldn’t find what to change. Could you help me with that?

In order to make it working in all pages, add this code in functions.php (end of file):

actually i’ve hidden the page from the web but i noticed that if i set the same page as standard page, my custom CSS is applied. When i set it as default homepage from WP, instantly my custom CSS is not applied. if you don’t notice this bug, i gave you access to my website to check it.

It must be because when a page is set to homepage some extra classes are added to that page and that is why it may not be applied to that page, please include your site URL and the CSS you’re trying to implement.

Sure have. I uploaded the Kalium.zip file via FTP and extracted it. Shows up fine in the Themes section and activates no problem either however the thumbnails don’t show like I mentioned above as well as the extra sections in the sidebar.
