Hello, we are having an issue with Post Visibility. We have all boxes checked under Post Visibility on the post’s admin page but it still shows up on the main blog page. I just noticed the theme was updated July 4th and we are on v2.1. Would updating the theme fix this? Thank you.

Hi, I have tried to using the most updated visual composer, all the items has displayed in the backend however when I updated the status, in live some elements such as logo in menu bar and so on as mentioned still not able to display in the website. Can you please help?

First thing you need to do: login to your profile here on themeforest, from which you’ve bought the theme.

And go to Downloads section, and there, find Soho theme, and download latest theme zip file!

Extract it on your PC, to get soho folder.

And then, connect to your server using FTP client (like FileZilla), and go to wp-content/themes/ folder on your server, you will see Soho folder. You need to replace/overwrite the content of that folder, with the content of extracted soho folder on your PC.

Hello. I have interests on this wonderful theme, but several questions before purchase.

1. I know it is SEO optimized. Is it ; a. HTML5 adopted ? b. TITLE/H1/META automatically assigned for SEO, especially Google? c. its adaptaion for Google SEO will be updated regularly ?

2. Is it possible to change font color, width between words and sentences, even if non-English language such as ?Noto Sans Japanese?is used ?

3. What is main differences between your themes “SOHO” and “StartIt” ? Those look quite similar.

1. Yes, it’s in HTML 5 standard. The page title is using h1, which is SEO friendly. And we recommend using some plugin like YOAST for achieving the best SEO results.

2. All the fonts settings and colors can be changed. You can embed that font like explained on Google Fonts https://www.google.com/fonts/earlyaccess

3. Startit is a newer theme, with some improved options and feature , comparing to Soho. And the difference is in Design of course, main target of Startit theme are Business sites, while Soho is multi-purpose theme.

Since you updated your theme to the latest version, you need to update Visual Composer as well, here’s how:

1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps

2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it

3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard

4. Install the plugin and then activate it

and clear browser cache. It should be all fine now.

Nothing to worry – your content will remain saved when updating the plugin this way.

If you can’t delete plugin from your WP admin, you can connect to your server using FTP client, and delete js_composer folder from wp-content/plugins folder on your server. Then you can manually install this plugin again, you can find the zip for the latest plugin in wp-content/themes/soho/plugins folder.

Updated everything, WP 4.5, theme to 2.1… whole site is screwed up. Pages will not load with the animated loader, content missing everywhere…

Is there a reason why the fade loader just hangs in Chrome? Pages will load in Firefox but not in Chrome…

After you have updated the theme, you also need to update visual composer. To do this, please deactivate and then delete the visual composer plugin. Then you should see a notice at the top of your dashboard that a required plugin needs to be installed. Install the new version of VC via this notice and you will receive the updated version. You should also empty your browser cache after you update Visual Composer.

It has only today come to my attention that the update version 2.0 and 2.1 have stopped my online store working. The ‘add to cart’ buttons and associated variations and attributes, the SKU, product tags etc and the related products have all disappeared. This means there is no way to purchase my items. I have fixed the issue for the moment by reinstalling version 1.9.1. Have other people had this issue? If so, will there be a fix/new update?

Is there a way to disable the option that keeps the header menu in place when we click a link? I think it’s some kind of a Javascript option. This is buggy when we implement another language. When integrating a new language and clicking on the language switcher it should change the menu, but the menu stays the same and the user is forced to refresh the page to view the menu in the new language. How do we fix that?
