1. On the category pages, why do posts still have category links? Can the category links be turned off just on category pages? I know I can turn off the category links for each layout, but I only want to turn off the links on category pages.

2. Also, I have added a “Categories” widget to my default sidebar. It displays the categories in alphabetical order. Is it possible to change the order? I want my “Introduction” category to display first.

Good question. The answer is no, you only need to run regenerate for old images. Also, you need to regenerate images anytime you change the specific ratio in theme options for some of the layouts.

Theme width is 1320px so yes, if you want images to look good in all layouts, you should keep in mind not to upload small images. Of course, you can upload images wider than 1320px it will be automatically resized so you do not have to worry.

It is a very good point!

Unfortunately, there is not an elegant way to do this via WordPress theme. Basically, YouTube has an autoplay parameter when embedding videos into your content so you can use that as a workaround. Here is a good tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AarHEO63JE0

Well, sharing stats is something which is out of theme functionality scope. It can be implemented but it will need significant development time to achieve that. My suggestion is to try to find some of the plugins with sharing stats for your articles, this would work regardless the theme you are using. There are also sharing stats services outside of the WordPress.

Additionally, you may consider contacting us for customization services if you think it’s best to create something specifically for your needs only.

This is a common problem with WordPress as there are technical limitations. It always strip shortcodes from automatic excerpts.

As a workaround, you just need to use excerpt field for your posts, basically copy the first paragraph from the content and then it will display all the characters on home and other archive pages.

There is no specific option for category header image. However, it it possible with only a few lines of additional css code in theme options and we would be glad to help once you purchase the theme.

1. It depends of the size of your main header. You just need to setup header height in theme options and find the image that fits best. Basically, it’s up to you. Preferably, you should set background size parameter as “cover” it will always fit the entire header area.

2. Similar to previous answer, logo can be large as much as you can. We use original uploaded logo size so your logo image will be displayed in 1:1 proportion. Yes, it’s height in px must be a bit smaller than the height of the header area as logo is always centered vertically in the header.

3. Inline CSS is a common approach when some parts of the theme styling are generated dynamically based on theme options you choose. Btw, from performance point of view, it is better to have additional inline css than additional external css file. That’s why we have only one minified external css file plus one inline css style.

Each sources has a couple of news categories that will be tied and corresponding to our site categories. We could consider semi-automatic solution so we can get rolling . Thanks.

Well, theme offers a lot of possibilities to manage post and categories display, but inserting post automatically from an external source is more back-end feature and it should be implemented by a plugin, regardless the theme you are using. Once you store RSS items as posts, our theme has a very good control to display it.

I tried disabling everything but it still shows a grey area for the menu on the iphone when clicked. If you scroll down the sticky menu shows. The regular menu doesn’t show however.
